order 1/2 size up for comfort with thick socks. Like walking on air, amazing. Leather soft and supple.

These are very comfortable and warm. I wore them for a 10 hour work day right out of the box. No issues, just happy feet!

These boots are very comfortable, warm, and provide great ankle support. I wear orthotics in my shoes, so I can't speak to the amount of arch support built-in. However, I had no problem getting my orthotics to fit inside the boots. I just got back from a trip to Europe where I was walking 5 miles a day while sightseeing. The boots provided support and, at the end of the day, my feet did not hurt at all.

I normally wear a 7.5 (38 European) but prefer to have a little extra room in boots or athletic shoes. I ordered these boots in an 8 and they are perfect to wear with thin socks. If I needed to wear heavy socks, I would have had to go up another half-size. I have a wide forefoot and narrow heels, but the size 8 accommodates both just fine. They are snug (but not uncomfortably so) at the top of the foot, so I suspect they would not work for someone with very high arches. I like that these have a zipper (much easier to get on and off) but also have laces and a strap, both of which can be adjusted. I had to tighten the laces so that the boots fit more closely around my ankles.

Adorable. But the shearling wasn’t along the top of the footbed and my feet get cold so back it goes. It was a great looking and comfortable boot, sorry it wasn’t warm enough for my feet.

These are very cute and I like the waterproof component but the wool lining wasn’t on the top of the foot and my feet get very cold so unfortunately they go back. There was wool on the bottom of the footbed but I was hoping for the entire foot area.

Stylish, comfortable, dry and warm. It took about a day to break them in, when the shearling was unworn they felt a bit tight but they loosened up to feel true to size quickly. This is a great city "light winter" boot, my husband was working in Europe last year and so we travelled a lot and I wore these boots in multiple European countries all winter long and always felt my boots were stylish and practical. I often wore my son in baby carrier while in these boots and felt confident in my footing on cold but maintained sidewalks. My always cold feet were typically comfortable and warm in these with a thin pair of merino wool socks. I own the black ones and they definitely show grime quickly I needed to wipe off the waterproof leather portion daily and we used some boot polish on the toe a couple times a month. These wouldn't be my pick for more than a light dusting of snow or an activity like sledding but for errands, Christmas markets or city sidewalks in the winter these are my go to for temperatures between 20-50 degrees Fahrenheit.

I purchased these shoes to get me through a cold winter in Ohio. I wanted something that was durable, warm, could deal with extensive walking/standing in different kinds of terrain, but still look somewhat presentable so I could wear them out to dinner with jeans and so forth. These boots were perfect and still my go-to cold weather boot for anything short of snow (haven’t tested them for that yet). They are extremely comfortable; I’ve trudged through mud, pouring rain, rocks, river beds and forests, and each time they can be wiped down and look great again. Very versatile and warm.
