I was hoping to use these to replace my TOMs, but the inner stitching of the eyelets rubbed my feet in a strange way.

These are cute, but the fold in the canvas near the tongue definitely puts undue pressure on the top of your foot. This might soften up with some wearing, but I didn't want to take the chance. Wish they'd worked!

Putty is more of a green color, not gray. I always wear a size 8 in Merrells; however, this style was at least a half size larger in an 8.

I fell for the wonderful photo of these shoes online. So wanted to like them. Unfortunately, they feel flimsy and the toe fabric puckers rather than fitting correctly. I've never tried a Merrell shoe that had this little support. Must return.

Not at all like a Merrill. Although I love the look in the picture I found them to be flimsy and thin. The canvas fabric seems cheap. The fit gapped when I walked in them, did not hug my foot. No shape or substance. This is not what I would think of as a Merrill. I have worn the brand for years. Im sending them back. Thanks Zappos for your great service.

I Ordered these shoes because of the price but they are very uncomfortable. There is extra material where the shoes tie together and it hurts the top of the foot. I did not like how they looked in person either. I own other Merrell shoes which are winners, this is a Loser, very disappointed in this shoe.

I wanted these to work but there is just nothing other than style to recommend them. There is no support or cushioning and the sole is so slippery that when I first went to stand by foot slipped out. I am very disappointed by them.

This shoe is very uncomfortable. It rubbed the sides of my feet so badly that I couldn't wear for even 5 minutes. I really wanted these to work but had to send them back.
