I have been an ardent Merrell fan for at least the past seven years, purchasing the Terran slide sandal (and every version of it) to literally live in, over and over again. From wake-up to bedtime, indoors and outdoors, it was the only comfortable sandal/slipper/walking shoe I could wear. That was up until my last pair, purchased only 6 months ago. Well, apparently there have been some changes at the top, and it clearly shows. For sandals that could really last years, this last pair started to fall apart after about 2 months. The lining began to detach from the sole, causing ripples and clumps, and stuck uncomfortably to the bottom of my feet, if I was barefoot (these are sandals, remember). Eventually, the lining gives way and rips away from the sole. 6 months later, and they're done! Well, so am I. Time to look for another super-comfortable sandal, but the new Merrells are a major disappointment and a rip-off. You no longer get what you pay for!

I was hoping I'd found a replacement for Merrell's no longer available 'Heather' sandals. This style is not it. I have bunion on right foot and the way this style is put together, it has has seams, stitching and cutouts in the wrong spot. They're going back today.

Comfortable right out of the box! I have a fairly narrow foot and the M width fits me perfectly! If you have a wide foot, this is probably not the shoe for you, although I feel as though this shoe might "give" a bit over time. Cute sandal, nice absorbent footbed and so comfortable!

This is my third pair of these sandals. With many issues (flat feet, bunions, sciatica) these are the only sandals that I am able to wear and are comfortable. I hope Merrell does not discontinue this sandal. As always excellent customer service from Zappos!

I love Terrian Slide II from Merrell. We have wood floor all through the house. I have been wearing it inside the house, my back feels much better since then.

I’ve been buying this style, the Terran Slide, for a number of years, and am so glad they keep it going each year with subtle changes and different colors and fabrics. I love in these at home in the hot & humid Midwest summers. I don’t usually wear them out and about, not because they’re uncomfortable, but I because I need a back strap to keep me from running out of my shoes ( I walk too fast). These are so comfortable—I really like just being able to slip them on, kick them off. Enough support but not too much to bother sensitive arches. Because they don’t have a removable footbed to wash, they can get pretty grotty by the end of the summer. So I keep the old ones for garden work and get new pairs when I can. I usually wear a 6 in other styles, but find I have to get the 5 in this style because they tend to run too wide for my foot without an adjustable strap. I only wish they’d bring back the vintage ‘70’s hippie style they had available several years ago, leather, cool-looking.

i love these shoes. it's not easy to find sandals when you have bunions but these do the trick -- comfy and you can't even see where the bunions are due to the stretchy top and design. i wore them right out if the box yesterday for a lot of walking in NYC and my feet were very happy. also, i wear a size 11 and these are a perfect 11 and do not look like. clodhoppers.

So was looking to replace a similiar Merrell sandal, great arch support, comfortable regular width, but had to order a larger size to ensure my heel was not hanging on the back edge. So I usually am good with an 8 so if thats your size consider getting the 9 . I quess the redesign shifted how it supports. Supper comfy right from the box. Last similiar pair lasted forever, and inside part of sandal where your sole rest, is not plasticky garbage or slippery so it stays in place!! No slipping or sliding around, your able maintain a normal stride and not have to try and hold on "funny" just to walk. Great!!!!

I like these shoes especially since I have had plantar fasciitis in the past. They are very supportive and comfortable

I have purchased a number of Merrell sandals throughout the years and am always pleased with them. I have had 2 foot surgeries and am very particular what I put on my feet as a result. This pair offers excellent support and there is no elastic to stretch out and wear down. They stay on the foot well (and comfortably) and the treads are great even on wet floors/pavement. Definitely recommend Merrell and this pair of sandals!

These were comfortable but the wrong color. I ordered the taupe with the pink stripe and there was no pink.

I bought this sandal because I had previously purchased the Terran slide sandal and it stretched out a lot in the width. Terrell must have figured it out, the Terran II is much better fitting. Really a comfortable and cute shoe.

Merrell is an excellent brand and I've been looking at this item for months. My hesitation was that I have never been able to walk in shoes without a back. But these were so cute, I thought I'd try given how great Zappos is about returns. Unfortunately, as in the past, I tend to walk right out of backless shoes so I had to return. As nice as they are, I do think $75 is a lot for sandals.

Merrell, what have you done to your foot beds? these have no support and feel like you are walking in bathroom slippers not a nice supportive shoe to stand/walk in for an extended period of time. Each year I order a new sandal from Merrell and each year the quality is getting worse. The upper of the shoe I find a little tight and the material type makes my feet sweat rather quickly. I normally wear a 9M and that is what I ordered. A little tight trying to slide my foot in all the way. Otherwise, true to size.

After only 3 months of daily wear, the lining is detaching from the sole and sticking to my feet - very annoying and uncomfortable.

The straps don’t stay together; some are too loose, and some are too tight. I’m returning them-

I can wear the Merrill Terran slide all day..We live in a warmer climate and these are perfect..I have them in all colors..Perfect support.

These were SO comfortable, I loved these shoes! I wanted them badly, but I had to send them back because I thought the color would look more neutral than they did. The green prevented them from going well with the clothing I wanted to wear them with. If I had the extra money I would have definitely kept them.

The material is smooth, comfortable, good for summer wearing. Although my foot is C width, the width is fine. Good support, reason that I purchased, to wear on concrete and wood floors at home. This is my 2nd pair. I think the first one was purchase 3 years ago. Bought the 2nd pair to change off. The fit is not consistent with all styles. Yes I am a merrell fan for many years; but now find as I look at different styles they don't all work for me. The latest style in this family was too wide, and the sole was slippery. Therefore I returned that pair.
