Just got these shoes yesterday 11.5 with medium with. these shoes look nice and are really comfortable but they were a little snug around my forefoot. These shoes also feel very light on your feet and have great arch support.

Felt a little large as compared to previous versions I have in the same size. Caused the intrinsics of my foot to work harder than normal with what feels like the beginning of plantar fasciitis.

Allegedly the series 16s are a styling update of the series 15s, with not much structural changes made. I don't agree. I find the sole to be much firmer, a lot like the disastrous (for me) series 13. They were really hard out of the box & it took some time to loosen them up, but even with around 150 miles on them they are still hard, with a slightly jarring feeling to them, not the smooth, gliding ride of the previous shoes. Having said that I'm getting a long with them OK-ish & I'm hoping another 200 miles or so will take the edge off them. We shall see.

I normally wear a size 11 but my toes were crammed into these shoes. A size 12 fits me like a size 11 should. Brooks, please stop with the ugly color choices. Otherwise I am all about Brooks in general. I recommend the shoes, just know that you need to buy half to a fill size larger than normal.

My GTS 14 was the most comfortable and lightweight shoe I have ever worn. Then a year later I ordered a GTS 15 and found that it was a little snug across the instep. After I broke it in, it was more comfortable. I just received my GTS 16 and found that the left shoe felt fine, but the right shoe did not have the 4E width that I expected. I will break them in as well, but it is disappointing to see Brooks quality control fail with each model.

The top of the shoe was really stiff, pinching the top of my toes when I stepped. It's getting better after a few runs to break them in. The shoes look great and feel good after the initial stiffness.
I lowered my rating some because one shoe had mud on the bottom and both were full of dog or cat hair. It was easier to clean them than go through the hassle of a return and waiting for a new pair, but picking animal hair out of your new shoes before wearing them is not fun. I guess that is one of the risks of using Zappos.

What the heck happened to the toe box on the Adrenaline GTS 16? Its narrow and especially low. My toes ride up against the mesh resulting in a very constricted feeling during toe-off. These are not the Adrenalines we used to sing about around the campfire! They are going back.

I don't know what Brooks has changed, but my feet feel broken after every run in these. I've worn Brooks GTS for the last 7-8 years, but this year's version just doesn't work for me. I feel better after running in the pair from last year - despite all the miles I put on them - than I do in these. Which makes me sad because I always knew I could order these in my size and they would just fit right and feel good.

It is true that the width on the medium is now narrower than last year's (15). Returned for wider, but still not comfortable. Was able to find last year at another site, bought 2 to tide me over while I search for a new brand/style.

Hmm, Have been wearing Brooks Adrenaline GTS for 10 plus years; this year it seems they've changed the design and now they're unwearable, causing shin splints; am truly saddened, keep looking for the Adrenaline GTS 9's but to no avail.

The "London underground " style have a fabric texture they are not mesh like the other styles.
My feet got really really hot and sweated way too much.. Couple of hot spots. Thank you Zappos for the complimentary exchange.
I love this shoes just not this style/color.

I'm returning these shoes because the sole rubber is too hard. I previously had Ghost 6 shoes and soles are much softer. The Ghost series of shoes has much softer rubber soles and feels so much more comfortable.

This is the third or fourth pair of Brooks Adrenaline shoes that I have owned. The previous pairs have been great. Unfortunately, after only a couple of months, the my right shoe is falling apart. A hole quickly developed in the toe and the side of the shoe is developing another hole. I'm not sure if Brooks has started making their shoes more poorly but I can not recommend this shoe to anyone who wants to use it regularly for more than a couple of months.

The GTS 15 was the first shoe that actually fit and worked with my narrow shoe size. This version, the GTS 16, is nothing like the GTS 15! They are rock hard and far more built up, pretty much like The Beast. It took me a few weeks to realize that this shoe was damaging my back. I assume it's b/c I don't weigh 250 lbs! Plus the heal fell apart in 3 weeks from indoor stretching. A regrettable purchase.

I have been an avid Brooks fan for years now. The have been the most comfortable sneakers I owned. This particular model (I hope) is just built with a few flaws. There seems to me to be a sewing imperfection near the base of the tongue. I though it would break in after a few miles, but no luck. I reached out to Brooks to exchange the pair only to find the same issue with the new pair. I also found, I thought it was me until I read a few other reviews, that it feels like you have an ingrown nail on your big toe. It's the only sneaker I own that feels like that. Maybe its just a sizing issue in the toe box area. I am not steering you clear of the Brooks brand. I am going to by another pair of a different model and try that. But this particular model, does not represent the comfort and fit I've known Brooks to have (Silver/Electric).

As an avid runner, I been wearing the Adrenaline GTS models since model 13. I have flat feet and over pronate. I agree with others that the best model year was the 14. The new 16 I had high hopes for because it looked like they had gone away from the boxy design of the 15. After several runs I was getting blisters on my arch that had never happened in previous models. After running a race a couple weeks ago, I now have plantar fasciitis to deal with. I hate to say it, but these are no good. Brooks, please bring back the same design as the 14s. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

These are the worst pair of Brooks i've ever owned. This is the 3rd pair in The Adrenaline series that i have purchased. They are by far the worst. I had these for a little over 3 months before i started noticing issues. The outside support was completely worn to the ground and the bottoms were coming unglued. I am a bigger man who spends a little (but by no stretch a lot) of time on my feet. After 6 months these are now un- wearable. They are falling apart and are causing me discomfort. Please don't waste your time on these.

The sneakers soles on both feet began to come undone and started flapping as I walked after a few short weeks of wearing them.

I last bought the adrenaline GTS 15 and they were fantastic out of the box. These, however, are terrible. The toe box has become much narrower, making them useless to me.

Not happy with this shoe. I've been wearing this series of shoes, most recently the GTS 14, for probably more than 5 years and never had problems until they were aging. I've been wearing this pair (GTS 16) for about 5 months and the tread on the bottom has been increasingly separating from the sole.

The GTS 14 was the last shoe which was good. After that the toe box has shrunk. I thought that it will become loose but it has not happened. Also because of narrowness, the pronation support also get exaggerated. I wore these shoes with great discomfort.
So brooks bring back GTS 14: GTS 15/16 is unwearable.

This is my fifth pair of Brooks Adrenaline running shoes (previously had the GTS 8, 9, 10, 12 and most recently, the ASR 11 GTX), and they're an overall disappointment. As many of the other reviews state, these shoes DO NOT FIT like the Adrenaline GTS line used to. Here are my particular issues:
--The toe box on the shoe is smaller than in past years. I've never thought twice about the fit of the shoe previously, but now I'm constantly aware that my big toe is jammed up against the inside of the shoe. It's not terribly uncomfortable (no blisters...yet), but it's tight enough that I think about it when running.
--The heel cup seems to be deeper (it rides higher on my heel) with a lot more padding (it's tough to get a good fit) than it used to have. After 25 miles the fit is still rather loose no matter how tight I lace the shoes, resulting in blisters on the tops of my heels where I've never had them before.
I expect with another week or two of breaking them in they'll be a bit more comfortable, but I have no expectation that these shoes will ever fit as well as the previous versions. Unless Brooks makes changes to the design, these will be both the most expensive lawn mowing shoes I've ever owned, as well as the last pair of Brooks.

I've had these shoes for barely three months and the soles are coming off. Given the price, that's not really acceptable.

This is my second pair of Brooks shoes. This style was recommended to me by my doctor because of their excellent support. Unfortunately after 3 months of light use the tread on the bottom of the shoe is starting to fall off. I don't like getting anything this expensive dirty so they never went on hikes or any sort of lawn work. They were only used for walking at work and home. They still fell apart faster than the Fila shoes I got for $17 at Kohl's. I will never buy another brooks product. Just not worth it.

I've been buying this same show for my teen with foot issues for years. But something has changed, the last two pairs have fallen apart after just weeks. (Zappos, you rock--replaced the first pair for free). But the replacement pair has the same issue--large chunks of the sole are peeling off after less than month after normal wear.
