Overall, very happy with this purchase. I was a bit unsure at first - it felt pretty tight in the toes, even when I loosened the shoestrings there a bit. After a week and a few runs, it felt very comfortable.

I truly thought I would fall in love with this sneaker and tried to make it happen. I normally wear Nike solely, however they no longer make the sneaker that literally keeps me out of a wheelchair sometimes. So I have now tried so many sneakers brands to try and replace my Nike....and Asics fits my foot runner up to Nike....I am looking for a shoe that is wide in the toe box (big toe bunions), narrow in the heel, supportive for flat feet and hyper pronation, and very cushiony for my degenerated hypermobile joints all over. These shoes almost fit the ticket AND are rather nice to look at compared to most sneakers IMHO, but sadly I have to return them. The reason is that 1)they are NOT cushiony and 2)they are shaped so that the big toe goes down into some sort of dip (probably good for running but not for standing/walking on degenerated joints). Like Nike, they run a little smaller than most sneakers...I am sometimes an 8.5, but in Nike a 9 and in Asics I am finding that I need a 9.5 (regular width). I have a narrow flat foot and narrow ankles, but wide toe base due to bunions and long toes. So, if you are like me, order a full size bigger than usual so your toesies can spread out and expand throughout the day. These were so close to working, but just wearing them for five minutes on the carpet caused me horrific back/hip/knee pain due to the toe dropping thing I tried to describe. They do seem like they would be very supportive great sneakers for a less beat up version of me. Alas.

I love the look of this shoe but I can feel my first (big) and second toes are too close together just putting them on. Even walking in them would cause blisters. The toe box is too narrow for me but otherwise comfortable.

Ended up being a little narrow. These are squashing my two little toes, to the point that I am getting blisters. I'm sad because I bought two pairs one for work and one for home as I do a lot of walking. I would get a 1/2 a size up or a wide.

Comfy and so far, so good. I've worn them only a handful of times, mostly on treadmill and rower at Orange Theory Fitness...We'll see how they hold up over time. I'm hoping them don't stretch out too quickly, like many of my athletic shoes do. I got them on a little bit of sale, so feel better about that. I don't know if I would've paid the full price.

I am an Asics enthusiast.....I enjoy wearing these however they aren't the most comfortable of my Asics collection. I would like to feel more cushioning when wearing my sneakers...They also appear darker in person than on the computer.

Purchased these shoes and walked about 3 miles. My heels were sore. I bought insoles and now they seem fine.

The shoe itself is comfortable, overall. I have intermittent spurts of standing for long periods and then walking around all day for work. At the very end of the day, my feet still hurt, and I'm not sure if it's because I'm just readjusting to being back on my feet so much (I'm a college professor, just back at the beginning of a semester, so in the time off between semesters, I definitely don't spend the same amount of time on my feet!), or if the shoe is not truly meant to be that kind of support. Other than that, the only real "complaint" is totally superficial: the shoes make a squeaking sound with every movement.

This shoe is consistent with all the Asics shoes I've worn throughout the years. i was looking for a good gym, all purpose shoe and this works well. Since i have had plantar problems in the past i always have to add in support to all the shoes i buy but i think this has pretty good support on its own.

This is a great work sneaker but not a great exercise sneaker. The padding is very thin in the front and feels dramatically different than my other higher end ASICS. It is however a perfect sneaker for just running errands and since I am allowed to wear sneakers at work it fits the bill perfectly. I recommend this shoe for walking only.

I find these particular sneakers run 1/2 size small and feel a bit snug on the width. Flashy cool color design, and good support, but overall too tight.

Great support and attractive shoe. I have plantar fasciitis and have recently had achilles reconstruction surgery. This shoe provides the comfort and support I need without being to stiff.

I use these for cardio classes and running/walking. Very comfortable stability sneaker. Love Asics overall. Normally wear a different line, but tried these due to the sale. Excellent deal.

This particular pair felt a bit more narrow through the mid-foot and also at the widest part of the foot (across the top of the toes). It also felt as though it may be a slight bit shorter than other Asics I've had, as I'm sure my feet haven't grown in many years! The color is great, but comfort isn't as good as previous pairs.

I love Asics!! I'm on my feet all day at work and I've found that Asics provide comfort all day. They are even comfortable right out of the box! The only issue I have with this shoe is that it's a little narrower than the other Asics I've bought.

I am either a 7 or 7.5 in running shoes. Based on the reviews saying these ran true to size, I ordered a 7. They were too small in length. I returned and ordered a 7.5. Other than this sizing issue, these felt great!

This is my first Asics purchase and they feel great! I recommend Saucony also.

These are good looking shoes. Only problem was, they run small. I have had several pairs of Asics, all size 10.5. I ordered these in an 11 because I wanted a little extra room for new orthotics. The 11s were actually 1/8" shorter than my current pairs of 10.5s. They also pinch in a bit on the outer front sides, more so than other Asics I've owned. My toes did not like that at all.
Maybe these are issues only in the "over-sizes"?

This shoe was too large. I bought it based on reviews that I should buy the next size larger, but I think that was a mistake for this size shoe. I wear a 10.5, they were out of 11's, but an 11.5 is much too big.

I already had a pair of Asics Gel-Exalt 3 in silver, which fit perfectly in my usual size, 10. I decided to buy another pair, as it can be so hard to find trainers that are just right. I ordered the blue in size 10, but they were a half size smaller than the silver (I didn't just go by how they "felt," I measured them). I exchanged the blue for 10 1/2, and they fit. Zappos makes returns and exchanges super easy, so it was no huge deal. But be aware that different colors of this style may be sized differently.

Not everyone will like this sneaker but I do. For one, there is black edging that is shiny like patten leather; enough to send the sneak back but they are comfortable ... go figure. I have problem feet with bunions and the like and these sneaks accomodate them. The tongue is at least a 1/2 inch skinnier in width than the old Gel-Exalt ... still that also works for me because of a bump I have on the top of my left foot. If I get another $30 coupon from Zappos as I did with their recent promo ... I might buy another pair.

I loved everything about this shoe except I wished it had a bit more arch support. I'm on a treadmill six days a week for a total of almost 5 hours so arch support is really important to me. But it really IS comfortable.

After scouring the internet for reviews of running shoes for Plantar Fascia issues, I decided to try these. While they did feel quite comfortable right out of the box, I decided that the Saucony Guide 9s had more cushioning and a wider toe box. I am going to return these but keep them in mind down the road. Plus, the colors are pretty ugly.

I used to wear Asics all the time. Bought a pair of Saucony last year and really liked them. So going back to Asics, they felt way too snug on my feet. Not as much room int eh toe box as with my Sauconys. I wore these around my house for a few hours...and once my feet started blowing up a little, it was really uncomfortable. And I had even ordered a half size up. Also ordered a pair of Brooks in this shipment, and they are the winners. Lots of room in toebox. Excited to try them out. A friend suggested them to me.
