Needed a pair of red walkers and these fit the bill. True to size, very lightweight and no break-in period. The leather and mesh construction are excellent. The sole is porous enough for lots of trail walking. I put the shoes on and off I went in Epcot for 6 hours and my feet and legs were very happy.

These are very very cute and I really wanted to keep them. However, they rubbed the back of my foot and I knew I was going to be doing a lot of walking on my Europe trip. I ordered Merrell All Out Blaze Aero Sport instead and they were perfect for me. I didn't even have to break them in. I hiked Cinque Terre (in Italy) in them and walked about 8 miles per day and they were super comfortable and incredibly light. These Merrell Capra Rapid were a little cuter, so as long as they don't hurt your feet, I would definitely recommend them, they are very nice.

Look good, feel good, and fit perfect! I wear these for biking and they have the perfect grip needed to keep your feet on the pedals. They are lightweight but have a stiff enough sole for biking. I am getting a bit of the ankle rub mentioned in other comments, but I think a slightly taller sock (I wear no-shows) will probably alleviate that

I wanted these sneakers for a long time. Finally ordered them and Zappos service was spectacular. They arrived today and they are very comfortable. I love the color and the comfort, but I am returning them because of the pull cord laces. I need regular laces. These loosen up very quickly and I know in the long run I would cut them off and buy regular laces. These are too expensive to start altering them so I am returning them. I do love them but will never be happy with the pull cord laces.

I got these for my wife as a gift. They are true to size. She has several pairs of Merrells all the same size. She is a walker and loves these shoes.

Loved the color. Usually wear a 10. Have to size down. Disappointing bac they don't have the red in my size.

I am a huge Merrell fan and have walking and hiking shoes as well as sandals and boots. These shoes are a little different from any others I've had. The toe box seems a little longer and narrower. Plenty of room there, though. I love the color and love the laces, which can't ever come untied. But for me, these shoes required a break-in period, which I'm still in after about 20 miles walking. They cut into my heel on one foot, which oddly is the shorter foot. Loosening the laces really helped, but I needed moleskin for a few walls. I'm keeping them even though this is the first time my Merrells were not love at first wear.

These shoes are really cute, and I might have kept them except that one shoe seam rubbed against the outside of my foot around my little toe. Ouch! Besides that they fit very well.

These looked great. The back is lower than what I'm used to, so it rubbed my heel for a few days, but then I got used to it and didn't feel it anymore. These are very lightweight and have great grip and traction, and worked well for long days of trail walking. However, after just over a week of wear, the toggle closure broke. I would much rather have the dependability of laces.

Merrells are one of the few brands I can wear comfortably. But Ouch! this shoe cut into my ankle bone on the outside at every step. Aside from this, I thought it had too little padding for a walking shoe.
