I love these. They are comfortable to wear all day and work with dresses or skinny pants. Good thing I got the wide shaft, though. Slight rubbing above the ankle on one leg, but that is typical for high boots, and it is not bad.

I love these boots! My calf is a little wide and I have tried many other wide calf boots and they are usually way too wide. Wide calf boots can have calf circumferences anywhere from 15 to 17.5 inches. I think these are 15 3/4 which was just right for me, even with leggings or jeans.

I've worn these boots every day since I received them! I work in NYC and needed something very comfortable. These boots are well made and super comfortable. I'm a size 9 in all shoes and these run true to size. I can never fit in normal calf boots and these wide calves are great - they were snug when I first put them on, but stretched out a little and now they're perfect. I recommend these boots for this fall/winter. FYI the working zipper is on the insides of the boots - the back zipper is purely for style and has no function.

These are definitely not wide calf boots in the traditional sense. I normally fit into regular boots, but when I ordered the regular version in these I could barely zip them. So in this case, wide calf fits perfectly for me, especially with socks and jeans, but doubtful for someone who typically needs wide calf. These boots are comfortable and stylish. I love the soles and how it extends slightly around the toe. I think that will prevent scuff marks. I like the zipper in the back, but I am not sure why it needed a separate, functional zipper on the side as well. I would have rather had just one.

These run very small. I cannot find boots that in my opinion look better. I am really upset about having to return these. I am a size 10 and occasionally a 9½. These boots were so tight. I have never needed wide calf in a boot either and these boots barely zipped up. I would definitely order a size 11 in a wide calf if there was an option. You are better off ordering a size up along with your size and utilize the free return, just in case. Bottom line is that these are awesome looking boots but terrible sizing.

I really love this boot - so I am so sad to return it! I ordered the wide calf version of these - hoping they would fit despite the previous reviews. I got them on - but over tights and leggings, no way would they zip over jeans. I went with another pair instead from Zappos - but this would have been my first choice if they were just a little wider in the calf!

Not wide calf! At least not in a size 6. Disappointed. Sending back.

These boots were very tight...not my definition of wide calf whatsoever. Also, they have a shiny gold/brass adornment on the back at the heel that you cannot see from the photo - or at least not see well. I was surprised by it when I received the boots and very turned off by it. These boots are being sent back both for fit and the look.

Loved the look of this boot and it seems like good quality, but this is NOT wide calf. I don't have especially large legs but I do like to have a little extra room for jeans etc. but with this boot i couldn't even zip it up over my calf with just leggings on.

The material doesn't even remotely look like leather...pleather is more like it...and the "wide calf" is very close the regular width...not wide at all. And, my calf isn't that big, I'm a size 8.
