I received the Melissa Button Crossbody as a Christmas present from my husband. I love the diversity this bag has, it compliments jeans & a sweatshirt, or adds style to the business casual outfit.

This was my Christmas present. Have bought my daughter Frye boots for years and last year got her a Hobo Fyrye bag. She loves it and every time I see it I wish I had one. Got the Melissa Crossbody and a wallet for this Christmas and I Love it!! Don't know why I waited so long. The leather feels so good and even the smell is great. Only problem is now my other designer purses have been pushed aside and I want more colors and styles of Frye.....I've created a monster, haha!

This is my second Frye bag in 6 months. Love both of my purchases. I've always been a "Coach" girl, but Frye's style and little extras (example - inside lanyard for keys) is great. No more digging in the bottom of my bag trying to find my house keys!

I'm pretty fussy about bags. Love cross body. Has to be just the right size, has to have outside pocket, has to have luscious leather. This bag has all three. Kinda perfect!

This purse is beautiful! Beige color goes with everything. A great option if you are looking for a smaller bag. The strap is versatile so you can wear it as a crossbody or a shoulder bag. Love it!

Just got this bag today and right out of the box, it is perfect! The tone of the leather is perfect and is buttery soft. The zipper works smoothly and it is the perfect size for a wallet, phone, small makeup pouch...perfect for when you are going out for the day/evening and don't want to carry a huge bag. I have the Melissa satchel in this color for everyday use. This smaller yet very stylish bag will be perfect to throw over my shoulder for a shopping trip or weekend getaway. Love it!

I love the soft leather and how it's made. Very classy but rough looking as well. It's my favorite purse from all the other designer bags I've got.

Got this bag in slate. I've treated it well, but after only 2 weeks of using it daily it had (superficial) scratches so that it looked shabby. I'm currently trying to dye the leather black -- the color I actually wanted.... Other than that this bag is perfect -- perfect size, a zipper, a couple small pockets, and the seams look excellent. The leather is sturdy.

Like another reviewer, I was also disappointed to find that the bag is made in China and costs $348. I loved the bag & purchased it before I knew where it was made, though, so I'm keeping it and next time I'll do a better job at searching for the tags. That being said, the bag is very well made & I anticipate it'll last a lifetime. I bought the blue one and it's beautiful and gets prettier as it ages! Great purchase. 4 stars since it's made in China.

This is a beautiful purse but very stiff and the zipper is very hard to shut. Will be returning for something else.

The strap is way too short! I'm 5'9". I can't wear this as a crossbody purse. I'm so disappointed! The quality is wonderful, and it's a beautiful purse. I probably won't get much use out of it though.

I was given the Melissa shoulder bag as a gift but its rounded straps kept falling off my shoulder so I exchanged it for the crossover. I love the leather and the general styling and have been using it every day since I got it. However, it's not quite right. I find it a little too shallow from front to back and also about an inch too narrow so it requires careful packing even with just my (large) wallet, tissue pack, glasses, cell phone charger and keys. The one inside pocket does hold my iPhone but the other is too narrow to be at all useful. And the zipper requires two hands to use - one to hold the tab at the closed end and one to pull the zipper open - so forget about quickly pulling out your wallet or phone. What a pity as it's the most expensive bag I've ever owned and it will last for years so I'd love to love it.
