Dear Levi's: You think you have us fooled, but those of us with curves? We TOTALLY know you didn't use a plus size fit model when you came up with this design. First of all, the fabric? You're trying to gateway drug us to jeggings, and ay self-respecting curvy girl knows those are a road to fashion ruin. While its soft, its not a jean- and I like my jeans to hold up to all the abuse I put them through working around the yard or in my garden. Second, while they do lift and smooth, which makes your butt look AMAZING, anyone with the smallest hint of tummy goes from a muffin-top situation to a muffin-shop situation. I'm an 18W, even tried the 20W (which, inexplicably, only made the belly bulge situation WORSE), and putting these jeans on is almost like that cardio involved to put on Spanx. I think the challenge isn't just the fabric and its nip/ tuck/ suck capabilities, but there is something really off about the rise as well, in the front and the back. So please, Levi's, bring us back denim that is JUST DENIM, maybe with a little stretch, but that is not shapewear. I want real, comfortable jeans, not a workout and feeling like I'm being squeezed to death from the bottom up; I want jeans that are sturdy and are real JEANS. Please bring back my beloved 580 and 512- jeans that feel good to wear, and wear wonderfully, without making me feel like a stuffed sausage. Just because you can make something, doesn't mean you should- and this new shaping ine absolutely proves that. Love, Women with Curves!

Runs VERY small. I'm normally a 22 in Levi's Plus styles. Lost 20 lbs and was down a size in other brands. Ordered the 20 in these and couldn't get them over my butt. Exchanged for the 22 and still couldn't even get them buttoned. Giving up on this style. :(

Pros: Very comfortable, stretchy, and soft blended material. I do like the look of the jeans. Cons: Run Small. I normally wear a 14W and a few 16W depending on the brand. This particular style, I'm an 18W. Loved the legs are very flattering. The stomach area was not flattering (no support).

These are really great jeans - soft and smooth fabric, stretchy on top, and nice straight legs; but they are not for women like me with large, bulgy stomachs. The legs looked beautiful. But stomach/waist looked terrible.

Ordered one size up from my normal pants size and they fit great! Very comfortable

The color is true to the picture. These fit true to size but very relaxed not stiff. The length is true to the size scale. I love zappors cs because my first order thezippers were busted. I callled customer service immediate replacement. I'm a forever customer.

I found these to be very comfortable with great stretch. I don't normally like the way straight jeans look on my short legs, but these are pretty flattering with my heels on. They do run small, so I highly recommend that you buy a size up. The fit is great for me – I'm not too hippy but do have a bit of a belly, and I found these easy to wear all day. You can almost always rely on Levis for great quality. I can tell these will last a long time.

I loved the color and fabric of the Levi's Plus Size 314 Shaping Straight jeans. So soft and the right amount of stretch. I would recommend sizing up as they fit a bit small and the rise is short for plus size pants.

I was skeptical from the start about how these jeans would fit based on previous reviews. I ordered 2 sizes up (normally a 18, ordered 22). While they "fit", they were not the least bit comfy. I felt the rise was too low in the front and that my gut was pushing over the top creating horrible muffin top. My but looked dynamite but not worth keeping these and feeling squeezed to death. I have returned these and will no longer be shopping Levi's plus. I guess I will have to fall back to my super un-stylish comfy Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda mom jeans.

I received the Levi's 314 plus size shaping straight in size 18w. I could not even pull them up fully while unzipped. These don't seem like they're actually plus size or perhaps they're just mismarked. I would bet they're more of a true 14-16. Typically, in all pants i have bought, I can wear a regular misses 18- 20, women's plus in 18w-20w depending on the brand and shape of the pants. They do not have seem to have a high enough rise to correctly shape how the pants are advertised. So if the pants fit properly, they would most certainly have created a muffin top. The fabric, however, is very nice. It's quite soft and sturdy feeling. Personally, I'm not a fan of the Levi's signature contrast design stitching on the rear pockets. I find it to make the overall style dated. The color is nice for a casual medium color jean.

I normally wear a size 16, however, I received the Levi's Plus Plus Size 314 Shaping Straight jeans. I would have thought being a size larger it would be a looser fit - I was wrong. These jeans are very tight fitting. My husband said they looked like tights. The fabric is not comfortable. I'm 5'6" tall and I had to roll them up by 3". So they are a very long jean. I do own other styles of Levi's which I love and the 16 fit great in. Maybe because they are suppose to be a shaping jean they are so tight fitting.

I'm very disappointed in this pair of Levi's!!! I want the real denim jeans!!! These 414 are not true to size neither. They're too big and they make your tummy look even bigger. They don't look that bad from the front or back view but when you turn to the side they really make you look worse. I want to return them and will probably have to buy a pair of men's Levi's to get the denim pair I really wanted.

These have the look and feel I was looking for. But for heavens sake Levi's! The material is strechy, so you thought hey we can cut it 2 sizes smaller than our usual 1 size smaller cut and call it good? All the girls that bought your 501 butten ups in the 70's and 80's (even though they were guys) and put you back in the game, are now older women with bigger figures. Please look up the universal fit for plus size's. And if you could get the real denim that is still used for men, but not for women it would be great! This look was awesome, but thats all it was. Too bad, because I'm not afraid to pay for jeans that are actually jeans. And the Levi look that only you can do is what I want.
