To anyone ordering any of the Levi's perfectly slimming 314 (previously the 512 series) don't order from anyone but Zappo's. They are the same fit as the old 512 series and fabric. I ordered several pair from Amazon(8)none of them fit,sizing way off and the little red Levi's tag on the back pockets were only red tags..None said Levi's and all the writing inside was Chinese. Couldn't understand any of it!!

My wife has always had problems finding jeans online that fit without trying them on. I took a chance and purchased these and the fit her prefect! She loves the fit.

The 300 line of Levis are the best! Great fit that hugs your curves and shows off all the right areas.

The Levi's womens 314 shaping straight is great! I love how it's a straight cut and yet still gives me an illusion of a "bum"! I've found that there's a certain cut of jeans that really flatters my backside, and the 314 is one of them. The fabric is stretchy, so no need to go up a size, maybe a size smaller would be advisable. The waistband is at a comfortable height, not too high for me. The dark indigo and with a little lightening at the thigh is a classic. The fabric is a little thin for colder weather though, but light, so perfect for temperate to cool weather. The price is reasonable too! The 314 is my kind of straight jeans!

After wearing the same lower rise Levi's for years, the Levi's 314 Shaping Straight jeans were just what the doctor ordered! I normally wear lower rise jeans and at work, they just don't give me the coverage I need in the back. The 314s have a nice amount of stretch, but not so much that they crawl in any which way, pinch, or look painted on. Love the comfortable fit and classic look; can't wait to own them in every wash available!!!

I haven't worn Levi's in years because they used to be so unstylish. Wow! What a great surprise I found in these jeans. Very comfortable amount of stretch. Enough substance that my shredder thighs won't destroy them in a few months. Wish I had waited for the darker blue color. The worn blue is a medium blue.

These are my favorite jeans. They feel like they are made for me. I am 5'5", 133 lbs, have a big booty and large thighs with a smaller waist, and the 28s are great. They do come up pretty high--right below my belly button--but that's why they are so flattering. I have gotten many compliments. The Worn Blue is super soft and not too stretchy.

Out of the box comfort and great fit. Comfortable at waist and not crazy tight through thighs as most designer jeans tend to be. These are great every day jeans that you will enjoy wearing. One thing - the worn blue were very comfortable. I also got the darker blue and while the fit was the same, the jeans are a little scratchy. I am hoping a couple of washings will fix this.

I purchased the Worn Blue as well as the Blue. I found the Worn Blue slightly tighter but still fit well. I also went up a size but checked the size chart for hip size and that was where my measurement falls. I really like them and they fit like a higher price jean that I currently own.

Please bring back "Levis 512 perfectly slimming straight leg jeans?" Perfect stretch and good weight denim. Did I also mention reasonably priced? Lately, I've noticed that most denim jeans aren't the real "denim" that I'm accustomed to. They seem almost "paper" thin and don't have decent weight. Please bring back "Levis 512 perfectly slimming straight leg jeans?

Best jeans I have ever purchased. Since I was a young girl, I haven't found jeans that fit me so beautifully. Have to buy more!

They were just as described. They stretch a pretty good amount around the waist with a few days of wear but not to the point of being too baggy- definitely less stretch than their other shaping jeans. Even though the cotton content was about the same, my darker pair hold the shape better than the lighter. The lighter pair also are narrower at the ankle for inexplicable reasons.

I have looked everywhere for a comfortable pair of jeans that come to the waist and now I have found them. These are so comfortable and look great.

I love these jeans. I original ordered them in the darker blue size 30. I loved them so much, I ordered a second pair in the lighter color. I agree with what a few others have said, for some reason, I had to go up to the next size in this color.

These jeans are super comfortable. They have the perfect amount of stretch and are not too heavy. They have the right amount of flexibility to hit the dance floor. I ended up going down a size depending on the color/fabric.

These 314 shaping straight leg jeans are not very similar to the style of my favorite, Levis Perfect Waist Straight leg jeans as Levis advertised them. I ordered a short 4, and they were too long, way too stretchy, the waist was too high for me, and way too baggy at the calf. Please don't stop making Perfect Waist for these 314s. The Levis with the 99% cotton are the best jeans. Just enough stretch. Back they go. THANKS, Zappos, you are the best.

Love these jeans, the fit is good, hides the muffin top a little, and the fabric texture is like real cotton denim. With its reasonable price, what's not to love?

I love these jeans! I have wide hips and a rear, with a skinny waist. The skinny jeans (which is all you can find anymore) make the rear seem even wider. The traditional straight jeans (like 529s) are too gappy at the waist for me. These are a great fit for someone with my figure - they are quite stretchy on top, so they stretch over my hips and do not gap at the waist. The long straight legs balance out my overall figure and make my legs look longer, hips narrower. They are also incredibly comfortable. I am 5'6" weigh 135 pounds, usually wear a 6, ordered a 28-32 in these and they fit perfectly. They are my favorite jeans - I am getting another color.

In the past I have ordered the mid-rise straight. I tried these and they fit nicely, not too tight. I am ordering another pair.

These are great. Comfortable and slimming at the same time. The only problem is that they are out of my size and I hope to get another pair soon.

People said to order up, I did and the 32s (my normal is 31) were comfy, but I know my 31s stretch out by the end of the day and these will be too big. The 30" length was perfect, I'm 5'3" (and shrinking - getting older so fun). No heels with this length, but with sneakers or flats = perfect.
