I’m usually a 28/29 in jeans and I bought size 30 based on the sizing chart. These were too tight and uncomfortable. Also, the fabric is of poor quality - it was not soft and felt scratchy against the skin. Item was returned.

I bought the same size (26) in soft blackened they were perfect but these, for some reason, the waist gapped. I have that problem often with a smaller waist and bigger hips and rear, but just odd that the colors are different fits.

These would be great but the very bottom of the jean is almost flared. It's not tapered enough. Unfortunately they'll have to go back!

I followed the sizing guidelines when ordering and ended up with jeans that, instead of being "shaping skinny" were "big mamma baggy". I'm 5'8" and 145#. Size 31" x 32" were massive - not just in the waist and butt, but also leg openings. Nothing flattering there! The fabric was nice and soft, and color (secret admirer) was precisely what I wanted, but jeans are returned and hopefully refunded soon.

I wanted to love these but it was not to be. I’m a true Levi fan but these just didn’t look good on me. I’m 5’6 140. I just felt like the waist was too high, and I like high a waist to hold in my stuff, but as it comes in on the high waist it seemed to accentuate my belly area after wearing for awhile. Oh well, maybe a different style will work.

soft black color is not as deep as in other Levi's styles, it's a little washed out. material is stiff and the ankle is too wide

these fit well in my usual size 27 but the color is slightly washed out, not a deep black. Material is a little stiff too. Also, the ankle circumference is wide, so the jeans don't fit as slim as on the model.

I have multiple pairs of the Levi’s 710 and those fit great. These however are much shorter even those they are the same size

I am in love with the 721s, so I wanted to try something new. These flatten my butt, unfortunately.

Reviewing the color Darkest Sky in size 29 x 28. I think it is important to specify the color or wash when reviewing because they are all so different! I own a pair of 311 Shaping Skinny jeans from a few years ago and love them. I came back here to order the Darkest Sky as I wanted a very extreme dark wash without being totally black. When I pulled them out of the box I immediately thought Wow, these look so cheap! They look like a big box store jean, not nice like my other 311s. To make matters worse, once you put them on and they stretch over your thighs, you can see some of the underlying white of the fabric so it creates an almost sheen effect. These are more like leggings than actual jean material and are only 81 percent cotton, the rest is polyester with some spandex or elastane! The fabric and color combination just did not cut it for me, as I wanted these to actually look like jeans, not leggings. I then hopped on here and ordered the color Lived In in the same 29 x 28 size because they were the only other dark color that Zappos is currently offering in this style. Although they have the same fabric ratio, Lived In actually looks more like actual skinny jeans and not leggings. I wish Lived In were darker and not as blue (if that makes sense) but I ended up keeping them and returning the Darkest Sky. It is also important to note that as I was packing up the other pair to send back, I laid both pairs on top of one another and Darkest Sky is about 1" longer than Lived In, and slightly wider in the leg (not much, but enough to notice). These are both the same style and same size, and I was surprised they were not measuring the same. This is something to keep in mind, that Levi's sizing may not be consistent between different washes within the same style. Besides color and size issues, these do feel really comfortable and are great for curvy pear shaped gals. I just had a baby and appreciate the higher waist and stretch. If you find the right size and color, these could be your favorite jeans.

Very comfortable, but the shaping didn't do much. And the fabric is far too thin and flimsy. My legs looked jiggly in them, which shouldn't happen in jeans. Jeggings, yes, but these are advertised as jeans, and in reality are far more like jeggings.

These run big in the hip and waist area. I'm 5'5" with about a 31" waist measurement, so I ordered according to my measurements. The first pair were huge (although the legs were nice and fitted), so I sent those back and dropped down to the 30's...again, still big. I really want to like them, so hopefully washing and tossing them in the dryer will shrink them down. Additionally, I was hoping they would keep their shape over the course of the day wearhing them. Not so great on that front. Not sure if I'd recommend them. Darn.

This pair of jeans arrived totally unhemmed. I mean, the the bottoms of the legs were simply the frayed edges without being hemmed at all. Defective product. Back they go.

Ordered 2 the same size & one was almost 2 inches shorter. I re-ordered hoping that I get longer jeans and will be sending these shorties back.

Super thin material, feels cheap

Sized according to measurements (32/32), fit is uncomfortably tight. I need clothes that fit my curves, not hurt me so I can pretend I'm smaller, thanks fashion industry. Significant waist gap in back because of the mid rise. Pockets are offensively small. I understand they're fitted, but come on Levi's, we deserve to be able to put our hands in our pockets. I found these far too uncomfortable and returned them. Jeans shouldn't be painful, no matter what they look like. The Levi's 721 is a much more comfortable fit and with less waist gap.

Fit was great, but like other reviews mentioned, it has a terrible smell to it! I tried washing it with a strong fabric softener, and I could still smell the stench. I’ll have to wash it again, but I should’ve just returned it.

tight in the legs, huge in the waist

I wear an 8 in most Levi's jeans, but the waist was too big. Otherwise, hips and thighs seemed true to size. They are also quite thin for denim -- almost like leggings -- but a very comfortable stretch.

These jeans are baggy in the thigh area and very tight in the calf. The waist and hips are true to size. I wish I would have returned them before I washed them. ?
