I'm 5'2", 125 pounds, and have a very hourglass-y figure. I got the Levi's 311 jeans in a 29(w) x 32(l) and while they fit fine, they looked really unflattering on me. (My booty doesn't need to look bigger, thanks. In contrast, the Levi's 712's look great on me.) However, in case you are taller and a bit straighter than I am, here's some other feedback on the 311's which might be useful. I got the "soft black". These don't have contrast stitching, so they look like "pants" not "jeans". They felt nice while wearing them; stretchy but still somewhat substantial. Since I won't be keeping these, I can't say what they look like after washing. Again, depending on your body type, these might look better on you than they did on me.

These pants are cords, and they are very tight in the calf, too tight for me and I'm not over weight. The fabric collects a lot of lint. I would not recommend them unless you want to use a lint brush every time you wear them.

I purchased these jeans in soft black. I was looking for a pair of jeans that I could dress up by wearing pumps and a dressy top, these fit my needs perfectly. I am 5'2", curvy build (small waist, round butt and hips, fuller thighs). The length hits exactly where I want it to, which is right below my ankles. These jeans are very slimming without being uncomfortable or binding. I have a bit of a butt and the pocket placement and pocket size is flattering. I typically wear a size 29 or 30 waist in jeans (Levi's, Joe's, Paige, Lucky), I purchased the size 30 with the 28 inch inseam and I am happy with the fit. I would have probably been fine with a size 29 but I like my jeans a little looser for comfort. I also purchased the color indigo canvas and they fit exactly like the soft black. It's usually hard for me to find a skinny jean that is flattering to my curvy shape, these fit the bill perfectly.

These didn't fit me right, I think they are designed for a larger waist to hip curve. I'm straighter and found the waist too tight. The Levi's 711 skinny worked better for me.

The fit is great- a little tight in the calf. They look great!! But why is no one talking about the magnitude of the dye transfer of the Darkest Sky color? Wash after wash, these continue to dye my legs, hands, shirt, and purse.

Yes yes yes!! These jeans are flattering and fit like melted butter on my body. I’m so glad I ordered them! I immediately ordered another pair! I will be ordering more! I’m a size 12 and the 30’s fit me great! I actually bought the 31’s first and they’re fine, but I knew that the 30 would be perfect. Either size for me is truly fine since there’s plenty of stretch and they don’t look bad even slightly loose. I hope they continue to make these jeans! I have a feeling they’re a perfect fit for all body types. I’m tall and 166 pounds with a long torso and shorter legs. These make me look a bit more elongated and thinner.

The fit is amazing, in terms of throughout the jeans and the length of the inseam. I'm 5'2" and the Short fit me like a dream. I tried on and bought a pair in a Levis store a few months ago and they've done me so well, I knew that I had to buy backups! Got a great deal on Zappos, didn't have to go back to the mall, and I always know that I'm going to get great customer service here.

I got these in the corduroy navy color- so this review really only pertains to that product since I'm sure the denim is completely different in terms of fit etc. I am about 40 w the beginnings of a muffin top in certain styles- I love the Levi skinny w four way stretch- not the 711- and wear a 27 in those. But I always have to cinch those up throughout the day because my midsection is pushing them down(eek!). I wanted a warmer fabric for winter and am forever searching for corduroys that don't look like mom jeans- these sort of fall in between. The rise is above my hips which is really comfy- but the down side is the fabric is sort of cheap and stretches out a lot in weird places- it also picks up lint a lot- so tney just look kinda frumpy by the end of the day. I'm afraid to wash them cant imagine what the fabric would do. I'm 5'7", 130 lbs w bootay, and got the 28. A little roomy but I don't think these are meant to be jeggings. Overall I don't think I would recommend these in the corduroy- maybe try the denim when tney go on sale. None of these Levi jeans are worth their full price in my opinion. Tney just don't hold tneir shape long enough to justify $60-$70.

The fit was true to size, but these are labeled as "Shaping," and that, they are not. Also, because these are Levi's, I assumed they were jeans. They are not. They are very thin cotton pants. I do like the skinny style, but am disappointed they are not shaping as advertised.

Normally I love these jeans but I don’t know what happened here. Missing the button.

They're not the stretchiest jeans, but they are still very comfortable. I'm pretty short so finding jeans that are flattering for my height can be tricky. These are great. True to size.

Levi's 311 are my favorite style. These fit perfectly. True to size. Very comfortable too. Definitely recommend.

These are my first pair of Levi's 311 Shaping Skinny and they won't be the last. I'd given up on my Levi's obsession a few years ago I became frustrated with returns/exchanges for their inconsistent size and fit. Well, no more! Finally Levi's has stepped up their jean quality and true to size fit with the Noteworthy 311 and Premium denim line of jeans. I'm 5'9" about 140lbs and the 27 fits snug but feels-like-a-yoga-pant comfortable on my 50yr old body. I look forward to buying more colors in this style. Keep up the excellence, Levis'! Thank you for offering the 311and Premium, Zappos!!!

These are terrific jeans at a terrific price! I like them better than any of my premium (Joe's, Paige, Hudson etc) jeans and they cost a lot less. Since buying my first pair, which I got at the Levi's store, I was thrilled to see that Zappos carried them so I could easily get more. I have 5 pairs. I am 5'6" and 135 lbs (although that fluctuates 10 lbs in either direction) and the 29x30 and these magic pants somehow manage to fit nicely no matter if I'm thinner or heavier.

I love the fit of these pants. They're so comfortable and I wear them all the time to work and outings. The length is slightly longer than I expected (I'm 5'0") but I usually just fold the edges so it's fine. I feel great wearing them. Definitely recommend!

I love these jeans. I’m 5’7. The 30 inseam fit me. It defaults to 28, so make sure to adjust. I had to exchange for the 30 inseam. These jeans are stretchy, but don’t stretch out or get saggy. I sized up a size, because I’m sick of jeans that too tight and they feel great and look great after all day wear. I’m really impressed with jean for price. The denim is really soft as well, yet sturdy. *please don’t stop making these jeans, ever!

Great fit, but they smell! Not sure if it is the chemicals or dyes or pesticide used in warehouse for storage. Why are they so smelly? Washed them three times with baking soda, soap, or vinegar and they still smell.

I am normally a size 4-6 in women's sizes for most brands, 5'6", 137 pounds. I ordered a size 26 in the darkest sky and size 27 in soft black and blue note. Turns out the 26 fit the best and are truly skinny. These jeans have quite a bit stretch in general and though the 27s fit, most Levi's jeans with stretch tend to stretch out during the day (especially in the knees). So I exchanged all three for size 26 to accommodate stretching, even though the waist may feel a bit tight at first. Other than that, they feel comfortable and are higher waisted, which helps cut down muffin top. I like these much more than the 710 super skinny.

This is my second pair I ordered, but the quality was not the same as the previous one. The fabric is lighter weight and more like a twill pant than a denim jean. I kept them but am disappointed that it was inconsistent.

These are comfortable. The fabric is thin, so they were less than flattering on my thighs. I kept them to pair with a longer shirt. Color is great.

I LOVE these jeans - they fit amazingly well, are incredibly flattering and are so comfortable. A huge con, however, is that they are constantly wearing out. This is my third pair in a year and every one has developed a hole between my legs where my thighs rub together. This is not completely unexpected but these jeans seem to rip very fast compared to all of my other brands. Very disappointed as these are my favorite jeans of all time!

I was happy with this purchase until I found things like stretch marks suddenly appeared (see attached photo, the vertical ones, not the horizontal whiskers that normally would show up after wearing). I admit that I loved the pants so much that I've been almost wearing it everyday, however, I've never seem such stretch marks with my previous favorite jeans that I also wear on a daily base. It's so embracing that these marks seem to telling people that I'm too fat!

These jeans fit me perfectly. They skinny but not crazy tight. The rise is at the belly-button. I dislike the high waist feel and look so it's perfect for me. They aren't fancy or trendy - just a great jeans!

I was skeptical, considering I’m a curvy girl. When I say they fit like a glove. I’m 5’4; 160lbs. They width in the ankles varies (I got 3 different colors). And the biggest issue for me is finding jeans that fit around my smaller waste with out creating a gap- and they do not. I can comfortably wear them with out a belt and they come up my midsection so I’m not feeling like I’m hanging over the top of them. Likely going to order 3 more.
