These say mid rise, but they sat lower on my hips.

I was disappointed in these. I bought 3 colors in size 27 and they all fit wildly different. The light denim fit very snug and were fitted along the entire leg, the dark denim was loose and the black could not be pulled over my butt. I sized up in the black and they were baggy in the knee and ankle. I sized down in the dark wash and could not button them. The light wash was my least favorite color but wound up being the only one I kept. If sizing was more consistent I would try other colors, they are very nice looking jeans and do not feel cheap. For reference I am 5'2'', 108 lbs, long legs (usually were regular length not short), narrow hips and muscular thighs from weight lifting and running.

I ordered the size that I wear. But this was way too small. Too bad it did not fit. I ordered another size up and it was too big. Probably the manufacturing defect? Too bad because I think Zappos has great service!

I like this pair of jeans. However the material is very stretchy on the hip part but very tight on the legs. It could be just my body shape. But, Zappos, as always is great!

I tried on the Levi 711 in size 27x32 time travel color. I have worn Levi 518 and 524 in sizes 5 and 7. I could not get these Levi 711 past my thighs. They seemed stretchy in the material, but the waist was very small. I wouldn't recommend these for curvy or mildly curvy women. Great style of jeans, just not for me.

These are just fine but I don't like the way they've worn them out. I thought they were deep dark denim and they just look and feel cheap.

I normally wear a size 27 in jeans, but from the reviews I ordered a size 28. Unfortunately, that was too small for me so I decided to order size 29 and hopefully this will work out for me. I have a small waist but big hips! =T

I found that these ran very small. It's rare for me to not fit into a 28, and if I don't it's normally because they're too big. These looked painted on. Definitely more like jeggins than jeans. Also didn't love the distressing. It was a little too placed. Maybe an option for juniors, but not women.

Unfortunately, when I put them on the side seams on both legs puckered the entire way down my legs. It was very visible in white. I had to return them. The sizing itself was fair.

I am a Levis customer. I always wear a size 8 in the brand which is what I purchased. The torso and upper leg portion of the Jeans fit normally but calves were impossibly tight. I’m 5’9”, weigh 135 and have slender legs. Either the specs were wrong on the style or they weren’t met on the pair I tried. Returned them.

The wash is great (Little Secret) and the fit is good but the smell of the fabric is TERRIBLE! The stench of gasoline/chemicals makes them unwearable. I've washed them several times using every hack Google could provide without success. Too bad, but at least I didn't spend a fortune on the jeans.

The fit was odd. Also these jeans were supposed to have a 34” inseam but the tags indicate a 32” inseam.

The rise was too low on these for me.

Definitely for Skinny

Please note that while this color is the same style (711 Skinny) the jeans have a tag that says "low stretch"...which makes them a completely different (much smaller) fit! For this color you'd have to size up, and I'm not sure what that would be. Nice wash, but poor fit (so I am returning). Keeping the other color I bought, as it runs true-to-size (with stretch)!

This review is for the Bandit Black color. I find it important to note the color because they vary. I had high hopes for these dark busted knee ones. I was on the email list for the 28 inseam but they are never in stock so I finally got the 30 inseam and figured I would roll or cut the bottoms. Unfortunately these are going back! What looks like a nice dark wash online is more of a faded black-gray. The material is very stiff and uncomfortable. I have other 711 skinnies and I am a 28 in those, but a 28 in these were so small! The fabric also had a bad chemical smell. They looked so cute on the model online, but they were definitely not as nice in person. I will stick to other washes, or the trusty 311 shaping skinnies. These bandit black 711s are going back.

I'm 5'9", 140lbs and ordered size 29, length 34. The pants were way too short and definitely not a 34" inseam. The fabric also had very little stretch.

Ordered these in white not realizing that they are ripped at the knee - it wasn't obvious in the picture. The material was also not stretchy at all and they were way tighter than another pair I already own in this same size and style. Had to return. I wish Levi's would be more consistent with the material/stretch within the same style of jeans!

I am 5'4, 138# with a pooch, size 8 98% of the time, and I could barely get these buttoned. Once I did, I tried wearing them for a couple of days to see if they would stretch out, but no go! Serious squeezing ensued. Returning the unworn pair and will not go with high-waisted styles again.

Jeans fit just fine. The problem is the heavy perfume smell in the material. The mailing pouch and plastic bag around the jeans had a really strong perfumy smell upon unwrapping. After 3 washes, the smell is still there and caused the rest of the load of laundry to smell the same.

A 29x28 is not a Size 8 as shipped. Fits are completely different. The 8 is large in the hips and length.

I have the exact same pair of Levis. These are an entire inch smaller in the waist. Will try one more order to see if the accurate size arrives. BTW, jeans stated the exact everything as my other pair. So disappointed.
