I am 5'6" and weigh just under 130. I bought a 27 and a 28. The 27 looked good but was too snug in the waist to qualify as boyfriend jeans. The 28 was perfect when I first put them on but then stretched out so much that the crotch was hanging way down at my knees. I guess I am between sizes. I actually own the original 501 jeans from the 90s and those are a size 30 and too tight in the waist but fit everywhere else.

The third time is a charm! I wear a size 26 in the skinny jean, and a size 2 in other styles. I originally ordered the size 24 by mistake so had to exchange for a size 26. Although I liked the fit on these for a boyfriend jeans I was worried that once I lost a little weight and these stretched out, they would end up too big. So I exchanged them for a size 25 and they are perfect! I cannot wait to wear these with flats or boots and a black fitted turtleneck or a white cotton blouse!

Never have much luck ordering clothes on line, but scored with these jeans. Fit is great and so is the price! I am very tall (5' 9")so the 32 inseam has to stay rolled up, but that is okay. They look cute with converse and ballet flats.

I love these jeans although I am still trying to work out the size! I normally wear a 26 but ordered a 24 by mistake. I was mortified when I tried them on and they were so tight-I was sooo relieved when I realized they were my wrong size. I exchanged them for a size 26 and I do like them a lot. After all, they are boyfriend jeans so are expected to fit a bit loose. Out of curiosity I will try the 25, but either way I will end up with a pair or two of these! I am also happy that they are 100% cotton!!

Love these jeans. Took me two tries to get the size right. I am pleased that they don't have any spandex in them. They are of great quality and I expect them to last unlike so many jeans out there today. Levis rock!

I really love the look of these jeans! I struggle with Levi sizing. I am typically a size 14. 5'11 with a thinner waist and curvy figure. My calves are on the thicker more muscular size. It took the third try before I got the size right. 32 and 33 were just too snug and so I finally settled on the 34/34. They still are a tad snug in the calf. I guess I wanted them to fit more baggy and so once I gave up that idea I embraced them. They most definitely are not a 34 inseam. Realistically they are 32. They do look good rolled up.

Some reviewers have said these jeans are 100 percent cotton, but they're not. They run a bit larger than the regular 501 Original, which is 100 percent cotton, so I recommend sizing down with the tailored and tapered if you want a true fit. My normal size was too big and baggy, so I think I'll stick with the regular 501s, which are straighter.

Just a warning that these jeans run extremely large. I ordered my usual size 28 and when they arrived they were so big they almost fell off. Thanks to Zappos amazing customer service, I exchanged them for size 26 and they are still very baggy but the fit and style is what I was looking for. Not quite as slim as the picture (I would have had to go with a 24 or a 25 to get that) but exactly what I wanted as a more traditional, old-school 501 cut. I know that all cuts and washes with Levis vary in size so I wasn't surprised that they were big. But just how big they were was a little startling. Size DOWN. I am 5'3" and 120 lbs and normally wear a 28 in Levi's; size 26 in these are BAGGY (but very comfy and cute).

I really like these for just a classic straightforward weekend jean. Remind me of the 501's of my past, buttonfly, heavier denim and all. The cut of the leg is what I was looking for -- not tight at the calf, but not so straight that they flop around. In other words, the "taper" is good. Only problem is that I'm a bit curvy, and in order to fit my rear end and thighs, I had to size up to a 29, which means the WAIST is too big. But at this price, I think I'm going to go to a local seamstress and invest a little more $ into them, and have a totally custom fit. If that works as well as I'm hoping, I'll likely get another pair and do it again :-)

Great timeless style, it took me three tries to get the right size. I am 5 ft 6 inches 128 lbs and the 25 fit me the best.

These are the original Levi's, heavy and dark in color with a button fly. I wasn't sure which size would fit me best and ended up with a pair that is pretty big. They are wearable but baggy. Not the most stylish, but a classic look overall.

Really like these but wish I'd gotten a size smaller. I'm 5'8", 125 lbs. Purchased 26" waist with 34" inseam. They fit reasonably well straight out of the dryer, but they stretch out and I'm left belting them, and belting them enough that the waist band is all bunchy.

Nice jeans. 100% cotton and front pockets that you can actually use!! I got the Indigo Trail - great color. The waist runs very wide.

I ordered these in waist size 33 White, which is my usual 501 size. They were huge so I exchanged for 31s and much better. I measured the waist and it's 34 inches do I'm not sure what Levi is going for here. Make us feel smaller by changing the measurement?

These are not a true 32 inch inseam. They are shorter. Other than that they seem to fit all right and run true to size.

These do run at least a size large, the fit is more of a boyfriend fit. But I love them, I'm petite so the inseam is perfect, ordered a 27 waist, could have ordered a 26, I just might do that. I am 59 and have worn Levis's my whole life.

Love these jeans! They run just a tad large but are supposed to...so I ordered accordingly. Love that they are all cotton.

These jeans very in fit according to the color. I brought this to Zappos' attention on more than one occasion, to no avail. I own the Limited Edition Blues. Those are a very baggy fit. Mine are actually too large and I waited too late to exchange them because they ended up selling out. It's ok, because they're still cute. I don't mind a baggy jean. They are a nice wash, can be dressed up or down and they go with virtually anything top, jacket or shoe wise. I later ordered the Black Coast jean. **WARNING** Black Coast IS NOT the same fit as Limited Edition Blues and should not share the same listing. Black Coast is a stretch jean. It is a smaller fit. They are stiff as a board, so it's hard to believe they have any stretch in them whatsoever. The color is a nice color and the style is otherwise cute, but the fit is not as generous as the Limited Edition Blues. This is a warning to the women ordering the lighter shades of denim that Zappos still has left. Notice, the fit on the model looks different with the lighter washes as it does with the darker washes. That is because the jeans are different.

I typically wear an 8 and ordered an 8 but they are too big. I like the style and the material but not thrilled with my purchase. Considering exchanging them for a smaller size but don't want to get stuck with jeans that are too small!

These are nice jeans and I really love the color but sadly I had to return them. They were too tight because there was no give in them and even though they fit in the waist the legs were too tight. So I know by the end of the day I would be ripping them off. I am just going to stick with what fits me the best. But I must say I am so glad I found Zappos. Their website, shipping, pricing, and customer service is the best I have ever seen. That's Zappos!

Great jeans! They are a bit large around the waist. I would've purchased a size down but it was not available in this style. Received many compliments. Looks great dressed up and down. Pairs well with boots.
