Light and firm and comfortable with style on the court!

I purchased this shoe to wear when I play pickleball and I am extremely satisfied with it. It is very comfortable and I was able to get it in a wider size which fits my feet better. I would recommend this shoe to others.

I play tennis 3 days/week, so I go through lots of tennis shoes, and New Balance tennis shoes are the most comfortable!

I try to play tennis three times per week; but, never when the courts are wet, or it is below 35 degrees

I use orthotics, have a high instep and high arches so finding shoes that fit is a constant struggle. The 1006 is one of the shoes that work. Just hope they don't discontinue them.

Great support and comfort; I feel confident when making quick lateral moves and rapid acceleration or deceleration.

Great mesh tennis shoe. I have a hammer toe and extra wide size combined with upper mesh gives very comfortable and stable fit.

Pickle ball shoe I ordered a size up and it fit fine.

This is a great shoe. I play tennis several times a week and have tried several brands and styles - this is by far the best. And it comes in wide, which is more comfortable for me.

Best shoes to get that are extra wide. Long lasting and well made.

Used by off season football player for walking around school. Excellent stable platform.

Glad to see these shoes are still being made. I'm an elder statesman that still plays tennis and it was good to see and feel the same look and fit!

Very good for outside pickleball. Good support around the feet

The only style that comes in 4E. Sorry that it is being discontinued. Lucky to find two pair in my size.

I love these shoes, I'm on my second pair. I have a super wide foot and the 4e is perfect. I wear 1/2 size smaller in these compared to most NB shoes.

Dicks sporting goods and Shoe carnival had very limited to no selection of court shoes but lucky Got referred to New Balance store on my county. Glad I asked. I've work New Balance for 35+ years (x-wide) I play Pickleball 2x a week and needed a new pair of sneakers. These court shoes have better (flatter) coverage to the court. Initially, it felt weird to be such a flat footed fit but it's definitely needed for the game.I can play for hours and never have any discomfort wearing them. Even better the store had buy one get one at 50% off, that's a bonus! For the money I don't believe you'll find any better tennis shoe or for my case Pickleball footwear.

I have tried many tennis shoes, but I have find out NB 1600 tennis shoes are fantastic.

It is good to be able to buy the 1006 year after year and depend on the feel and comfortable fit of this show. I play tennis 4 or 5 times per week and would like to see a better warranty on the sole. Thanks for this great shoe. Jay

Good shoe for the avid player-very stable. I Play 4 days per week. The 1006 last 75-90 days. When I buy a pair, the outsole warranty kicks in and I file for a replacement pair. NB stands behind their shoes!!

Love the support. Well made. Wide enough for my foot too.

Fits true to size. Very supportive. Excellent for tennis. Would like to see the pigment color in this shoe again.
