Purchased 3 pair of white New Balance sneakers in my usual size and this is the 2nd pair I have had to return due to sizing being off. Been wearing NB sneakers for years and this is the first time I have had an issue with sizing but very happy that Zappos allows for me to be able to find the correct fit.

Great value for the price

The fit was fine. I did notice what felt like a reduced amount of padding of the sole in the heel area. That I didn't like. Also, the smell of these shoes just about knocks you out! The insoles will be hung outside for a while before I wear them. Other than that, I was satisfied.

They are shoes that take a little time to get broken in, but once they do they are very comfortable.

I had my feet checked for size at a shoe store in Phoenix, they didn't have my size in stock. So, my daughter told me to check out Zappos and order the shoes. I found a pair online that I liked better than the pair that I was going to buy and was thrilled to have them the next day without any additional shipping charge. This was a very good experience. The 623 has been around in various versions for many years and I have had several pairs in many colors. It is a good shoe. It is true to its size and width, 12.5/4E. For the price it is quite comfortable. It works well for me for work and play. I will continue to buy this shoe!

I've already walked a couple miles in these and can say they are extremely comfortable shoes. With both the tops and bottoms being black, they can be mistaken as dress shoes from across a room. My last pair of New Balance lasted nearly two years. I have similar hopes for these.

I order these over and over for my 82 year old husband and he wears them about a year. The last time we had to reorder them in l/2 size larger in order for them to fit. Then we just gave the two new pairs that were too small to Salvation Army to help them out.

I used to be a 42 year-old Starbucks barista and I wore these shoes with orthotics for work. When I got an office job, I switched to "more office-appropriate" footwear. When it came time to buy winter shoes it became apparent that my feet and joints don't care about office appropriate. For the first day in a long time, my feet aren't hurting, my knees aren't screaming, and my back isn't knotted up. Granted, I look like someone's grandma in the office but at this point I don't care. New Balance is true to width which I love, and their sizing has been consistent for me for years. These shoes don't squeak on the tile floors which is a huge plus.

This has been my 4th or 5th pair of this style. Good quality for the cost. Fit and quality are fine. Moderate arch rating is a stretch. Not an issue for me as I use an insert and pitch the one that comes with the shoe. I did experience partial delamination of the sole on my last pair; however after very heavy use.

I have a difficult time buying shoes because of width and arch problems. I use these 623 shoes for tennis and walking. I have ordered many pairs and do well with them. I recommend the leather shoes for durability.

Shoe was ordered the first time as a 10 1/2 but it was tight in the toe, so I returned those for a size 11, which fit perfectly. I usually take a 10 1/2 but all manufacturers are slightly different. The shoe could use a little more sole padding and arch support but for the price level I am very happy with them. One other thing the Zappo's customer service lady who helped with the exchange could not have made it any easier, as she made sure I received the discount I was awarded on the second pair even though it was a one time use discount that I had received in the mail. Great help and customer service.
