8 4E they were a tiny bit snug across the toe box, but not enough to send back. I might have used a 7 1/2, not sure. They are light weight, and overall comfortable.

I have pretty severe neuropathy and really need shoes that are roomy and don't cause me any discomfort. I previously wore New Balance 409, and after about a year of heavy use, I needed to find a replacement badly. I tried a cute pair of Skechers. NOPE. Painful and not at all true to size. So I decided to go back to New Balance. These looked good and they had the right size for me (8.5 4E), so I took a chance. THEY'RE PERFECT. No pain and a classic '80s look. My only complaint is that the shoes looked gray in the photos despite saying they are navy. I checked it on three different devices and they all look gray to me. Navy in person though. I would have loved them either way. Excellent shoes!

Good fit very comfortable

Great shoes. My second pair; the first ones have held up very well and I still wear them at home although they are beginning to look a little worn. So glad to have the new ones.

first time buying this model. they fit perfect, New Balance are the best.

This is a good style from New Balance. The fit is perfect for me. I wear orthotics and this shoe helps me. They come in brown suede and black. Other nice light colors too.

As always New Balance shoes always feel great to me and break in quickly

The only problem I have is that the right shoe had a much larger size shoelace than the left shoe. I had to buy another pair of shoelaces to match what was on the left shoe. The left shoelace was 45 inches and the right side was 54 inches. So far the fit is good, although the right shoe support seems different than the left. This may have been caused by the wrong shoelace. I will need a few more days to see if the support improves.

The shoes fits true to size and are comfortable.

I never go to a shoe store anymore-I just go to ZAPPO...............

Excellent Sneaker with great support

Have bought from Zappos for years. Only once has a product failed. After contacting Cust Serv, they sent me a replacement pair of shoes at no cost to me. As long as they continue this kind of excellent service, Zappos will have a customer for life.

Good size and fit. These sneakers are difficult to find in wide width and keep being discontinued in the stores or other on line companies. Told my husband I would check Zappos and there they were! They are the only ones he finds comfortable in wide width. Seem to be a quality, sturdy sneaker.

Very happy with this purchase

The leather looked and felt more like a man made material but I'll have to trust the description. I'm glad I ordered a 4E, as with moderately thick socks these just fit. But for me, they are comfortable. I've only worn them for a couple of days, so we'll have to see how, and if, they break in a bit.

These were for my husband to replace his New Balance sneakers that blew a hole in the sole. He loves them and says they feel awesome!
