Disabled veteran, service connected for hip joint, and low back sprain. These are the find of the century for me. I needed solid leather uppers, not cloth, for side to side to support. Best of all, under the feet, there's solid structure, holding my heel in place, and preventing the heel and balls of my feet from sinking in, on squishy surfaces. Months later? There's zero outer sole wear, defeating the original shape of the sole. Instantly, they lined up my feet and ankles, preventing wobbling. Hip and back pain decreased dramatically. Amazingly, they came in a 4E. I have the 623 WN3.... and would buy three colors, if they existed. Navy, Black, and the White ones that I have.

WORE THEM THE FIRST DAY I GOT THEM, COMFORTABLE AND THE COLOR LOOKS GOOD

I purchased my first pair about 5 years ago. I have worn these shoes a lot and they are very comfortable. The first pair are in a very broke in condition but I still wear them around the house . I ordered the same pair for replacement they fit great and are also very comfortable, now my wife will let me go out in public with the shoes.

Bought for cross training and walk to/from the gym. Wore them the same day they arrived and did a 5K and 1 hour workout without any sores or blisters. Only downside that I see is that they do not come in other colors.

The sizes you have available are fabulous and we always find the right sized shoe.

Everyday shoes this is my 2nd pair to replace my 1st pair (1 1/2yrs). Choose these now over 608s that I wore for yrs...I only wear NB and LOVE these 623.

Higher end New Balance Shoes have many different types of stabilization, which if you have a medical condition that requires the extra support, are very necessary. If you don't need New Balance's ROLLBAR and ENCAP stabilizers available on the higher end models, then the 623v3 has just enough stabilization and overall foot protection (I have non-painful, thank God, neuropathy from the middle of my arches to my toe tips top and bottom of my feet) while maintaining a good amount of flexibility in the shoe. This color scheme is awesome. The tongue, lining, and laces in navy blue are outstanding, not only in looks, but for keeping them clean. I wish New Balance would call me so we could collaborate designing a white, gray, and black color-way (I'll keep dreaming). I wear a 9.5 4E. I purchased a pair, loved them, and tried to purchase another pair. Alas, my size was unavailable. I diligently returned to the New Balance website every week for a few months, and finally, my size was available again. I purchased another pair. Now they're out again. A bit about myself and my shoe history: I have Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP - a.k.a chronic version of Guillain Barre Syndrome GBS). After neurological testing, my neurologist diagnosed my medical condition as either CIDP or GBS (could have been either at the time) in December 2017. Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIG) Therapy was prescribed and after working things out with insurance I received my initial IVIG dosages in early February 2018. IVIG (with God, my family, and excellent medical care) worked a miracle on me. I came all the way back from initial symptoms, to being wheelchair-bound, through physical therapy, and back to work in just under six months. During this stretch my foot needs changed. During physical therapy I relied on New Balance 1540s and 847s to help with stabilization. Now, I just need a little support and protection for my lingering neuropathy. 623v3s ARE PERFECT!

Its hard to find NewBalance shoes in brown. Also shipping was very fast

They are my every day shoes. I like my shoes in brown.

Totally satisfied! I wear custom-made orthotics due to some minor foot issues. I got the 623 Suede Trainer after already wearing the white version of the 623. I need the toe space, so both models are great. (Using 4E, extra wide). Customers with a narrow heel may want to use the top lace-holes (as in the suede model) in order to tighten up the heel area.

This is my second pair of 600 series walking shoe. The first pair I wore out. They are firm and solid, but also remarkably light. I'm very happy with New Balance.

When I went to purchase new walking shoes I wanted a new look! The problem I had faced in the past was with most white walking shoes you have a white tongue and laces. They are also the things that show dirt the the quickest! My new NB shoes are perfect with a dark tongue and dark blue laces! With all sizes and widths ordering is a snap!

Working in healthcare you can wear sneakers, but they have to look good. Mission accomplished.

I love these shoes for work....so comfortable.....

These shoes are one of the best shoes I have ever bought. They are comfortable out of the box and require little if any break-in. I am on the go every day, usually start the day with a 5 mile walk and end up with 18,000 steps by the end of the day. With these shoes there is no dis-comfort at all and they will last easily the whole summer.

Customer service was accommodating on the return of a pair that did not fit right and that was solved. I am a new balance repeat customer and these are well made shoes. Of course I will buy them again when these wear out.
