I took the advice to order 1/2 size smaller and was happy I did. I always wear a 9 1/2, ordered a 9 and it fits well. It is important to adjust the strap buckle to customize the fit/tightness. Regarding the shoe, this was the only (single) monk strap option with a man made sole, which I wanted for rain/snow. Out of the box, they look good. Time will tell if they hold up - they seem well made. For instance, the sole is stitched onto the upper, not just glued, so that is good. Upper stitching details are good too. Style wise, they are slightly less formal since the toe is rounded, vs. more pointed. Sole is not too thick. Buckle is not shiny, which is good. At this price point, seems like a safe bet.

Shoes are very stylish and comfortable but not made to last. Bought second pair in February and six months later will need to purchase another pair. Price is great though.

Beautiful shoe, but lacking in quality and comfort. Fell apart in 6 months of hard wear—threads broken, sole broken and thoroughly roughed up. Granted I’m a managing foreman so they get put through the ringer. But at price point it should last more than 6 months before falling apart.

The shoe was too wide and too long but looked great.

I wear these daily and my feet still feel great at the end of the day!

The shoes look nice and feel nice. However I work a desk job and walk moderately and the soles developed huge holes in them in less than 10 months. I were these shoes 3 times a week and swap them with a pair of brown ones of the same brand and style and had this happen to both. They have poor quality.

this shoe does not seem to fit like a standard 8.5W; atleast a size bigger (and continues to expand) - very disappointed and now I am beyond the return period.
