This shoe is cute and mostly comfortable. I would have kept it EXCEPT that the back of the shoe was too high and would hit my achilles tendon when walking. Can't have that. I wear a size 5 and have had to return Ecco shoes twice now for this reason. It seems that the pattern for a smaller size shoe is not adjusted proportionately to accommodate shorter legs. I'm not sure why this is since I've probably had this problem only one other time in 35+ years. The rest of the shoe is comfortable with nice padding on the sole. I almost considered taking them to a shoemaker to see if it could be altered but doing so added too much to the price. I wish Ecco would adjust their shoe patterns so I could buy their shoes!

Cute, comfortable, Ecco quality. Struggled to find summer flat I could wear. Ecco's and Zappos saved the day.

A little disappointing, so I am returning them. I wear a 9 and have wide toes and very narrow heels. The heels feel a little loose - which is pretty normal for me. But when I walk the right shoe gaps on the sides, and the shoes look a little crooked on my feet. Also, the fabric design on the toes doesn't match each other. I realize this is an all over large pattern, but the toes are different colors - the right is more aqua and the left is gray blue. I could be happy with this funky difference if the fit was better, but it's not. So I am returning them.

Super narrow

At first, I wasn't sure that I liked the way these looked, but they are so comfortable that I kept them. They are now my favorite shoe, worn out, and not available?? Bummer

Comfy,well-made casual shoes. Great for walking the mall or beach. A little more expensive than I would like. Ran large and I had to return for next size down. Ok now!

I ordered these yesterday and here they are today! Yay, Zappos! I am getting a little older and find myself looking for lower, flat shoes to wear with capris and slacks - especially when traveling. These are terrific! But please, don't think that they are only for old ladies - I still have enough sense of style that I want a great looking shoe. They are on my feet. Comfortable! Stylish! So happy with this purchase.

The upper material feels great soft and stretchy. The insole has a lot of shape but also conforms to my foot. And I like the look sort of retro boat shoe/sneaker in appearance but modern because of the materials. They might run a little large. I usually wear a US 8 but the ECCO 38 (US 7-7.5) was a better fit on me.

I usually don't have "cute" shoes for my big feet, but these rate as cute and comfy. I usually wear a size 11.5 but ordered 12-12.5 in these and they fit well. I wouldn't want to be standing or walking for a long time in these, because the arch support is only moderate. But I love them in the gray color for the summer and enjoy the compliments!

I am thrilled with this shoe! It fits true to size, very comfortable - that being extremely high praise from someone with lots of foot issues! The band on the top is elastic - gives with your foot and looks great.

Planning ahead to warmer months and chose this as a house slipper. I have other Ecco shoes and they are so comfortable. My feet have never become sore or tired in them. These are great little slippers for warm & hot days ahead.

Needed a sz 12 in this shoe. My foot measures 11" but the 11.5/Euro sz 42 is too short for me. If a 43/12 had been available I would have kept this shoe.

I'm a long-time Ecco wearer, and these shoes fit comfortably and true to size like all my others. I really wanted to love these, but I guess the fabric made them a bit too casual for what I was looking for (I ordered the gray, and the fabric on it basically looks to me like gray sweatpants). Pretty disappointing because they were comfortable enough to be all day excursion shoes. This exact cut in an all-over metallic leather or leather/mesh would have been perfect.

A bit disappointed. I went up a size and they are still a bit tight. Arch support is ok but not great.

This shoe was what I wanted for a work shoe (healthcare/office setting). It has good support for frequent standing and walking, and is lightweight. However, I had the same experience as another reviewer with it pulling my socks down after walking in the shoes for several minutes. I believe it's caused by the elastic band that stretches across the top of the foot. The elastic grips the sock in that spot and doesn't allow it to move with the foot as the foot moves in the shoe while walking, and then the heel of the sock gets pulled under so it bunches up under your arch. So I've been wearing them without socks because that is incredibly annoying.

I had the exact same issue as another reviewer - these shoes made my socks fall down. Not just to the ankle - they would actually slide all the way under the heel. Not cool. However, now that the weather is warm, they are great to wear - sockless.

These shoes feel like they would be comfortable. However, seeing them in person they look like men's shoes so I'll be returning them.

This shoe was attractive for a comfort shoe, however, it did not offer the comfort and support that I usually expect from Ecco.

I really love this shoe except there is no arch support whatsoever in this shoe, I took out the removable lining and put in my own insert. When I walked in these my foot fell to left of the shoe. I have a high arch. But like I said I love these so now I bought the black ones but will use my own insert.

Have a pair of similar Eccos. Wear them a LOT! These however, have a limp, thin, insignificant insole. Returning them. My old pair have a vey nice insole. So disappointed.

At the original price this shoe was overpriced and since I purchased late June the price has dropped. The name Ecco and the high price does not guarantee a sturdy shoe especially one made of synthetic material. I was desperate for black shoe to wear with my summer pants while on vacation and had a gift card burning a hole in my pocket so that explains my purchase.On the plus side,it is an attractive shoe. As always glad Zappos exists and will continue to to use. And ask for another gift card from Zappos.

The shoe is comfortable in all ways EXCEPT for the heel cap/back comes up too high and cuts into my achilles tendon. I wear a size 5, and manufacturers often forget to proportion this part of a shoe to make it shorter. Sadly, I have to return, otherwise I'd keep if this wasn't an issue. If you wear a larger size, this may not be an issue for you. If the heel wasn't a problem, I'd give it 5 stars for overall, comfort and style. Also, I have slightly wider feet across the toes, and this doesn't cause any issues with that, plus the material is flexible enough.
