This is my first time purchasing the Ecco Sport Bjorn Fuel Trainer. This is in my opinion a great shoe for aerobic dancing and practicing any other dancing such as ballroom or folkdancing. The reson is it is flexible in the center and allows the foot a wide range of motion. The heels and toes are made of thick, durable rubber, great support for landing on the ball of the foot. The shoes are not clunky but follow the shape of the foot. The shoes are narrow in the heel and wider in the toe area, which works for me, because I am a B width with narrow heels. Compared with my size 39 Danskos, these shoes are longer; as someone said, there is some extra length in the toes! A little bit long, not ridiculously long. I stayed with the 39, but some people may want to size down to 38. The shoes have better arch support than the Intrinsic TR Walker (and are narrower at the toe) and the Soft Ecco, but not as much support as the Ecco Chase II. But, there is enough support so that I can wear them without orthotics (which would negate the flexibility feature).

I just returned from a trip to Europe with only this pair of shoes, walking on cobblestones up and down hills. The shoes were perfect. They have a slightly wider toe box over the widest part of the foot and a normal heel. They are discreet enough that I could wear them with dressier slacks as well as jeans and corduroys. Never before have I traveled with a single pair of shoes, and they will be my go-to shoes for future travel. They are the best fitting Eccos I have ever owned.

I love these shoes. I got my first pair at a podiatrist's recommendation to help with plantar fasciitis. They did help and were very comfortable and supportive. They were my go to shoes until they wore out. Now I'm on to my second pair.

seemed enormous, as if it were a man's shoe, but also potentially so comfortable (minus the extra inch of length in the toe?) -- I'm trying again, with another pair of Ecco's, to see whether I can find the right fit.

The fit and size--40 or 9 to 9-1/2--were just right for my feet which are slightly narrower than medium B. I wear these shoes just about daily to go for walks in my Portland, Oregon neighborhood. The shoes are just not cute, in my opinion, but utilitarian. They are comfortable and practical, but I don't think they'll win any prizes for style.

These are comfortable shoes with good arch support. Very helpful for plantar fasciitis. I wish the style was as great as the feel. They are a bit "old lady"like.

I have tried almost every shoe that Zappos carries with soft foot beds and some arch support. I have only kept 3 Ecco shoes. This is a nice structured shoe and the sole does not flex much. I won't buy this shoe again because the sole is not thick enough and not enough cushioning. Feels good on carpet but not in the outside world. Try Soft 8 and Crepetray for thicker soles and more cushioning.

The leather of the shoe is very soft. Insole and lining are all leather and breathing well. Unfortunately the outsole is little stiff. Not soft and flexible enough for running. Still a nice casual sporty pair...

I have worn Ecco Biom Trainers for several years and have been extremely happy with them.I recently purchased a new pair of the Sport Biom Fjuel Trainers. The new model is lacking in style, lack of color choices and support. I will be changing brands for my next purchase.

Love these shoes. The color is great and the size is perfect. Some people complained about bigness in the toe area, but I did not find that.

I've worn these every day since I got them. Comfortable from morning till nite. Best shoes I own!

Beautiful shoe and ordered size 40 which is my usual size for size 9. But too narrow across the top of the foot and little toe. Would think about trying a size 41 as it’s a lovely shoe.

These shoes have it all :: comfort, style and an awesome fit. They offer more support than most athletic shoes and are definitely worth the price! I liked them so much I bought a second pair and have received countless compliments. They are my absolute favorite shoes and I highly recommend them.

Excellent fit and well made. Very sturdy shoe. Insole removable for orthotic.

I've worn Ecco brand shoes for at least twenty years. They've always been excellent for arch support and excellent quality products. I have to be super careful with my feet for medical reasons and Ecco has kept my feet very healthy.

The fit, size and arch support were excellent. I appreciated the width in the toe area which was slightly wider than other previous BIOMs. I will buy another pair for sure and maybe more. Other color choices would be nice. How about the retro saddle shoe black and white style?

These felt a bit tight to me. I may order a half size larger to get more room in the toe. Otherwise, they were very comfortable.

I tried on the Sport Biom Fjuel Lace in a local store and the liked the fit but not the look. Salesman told me about this shoe in leather and suggested I order it. I wanted to love it when it arrived but it is just not as comfortable in the foot bed as the other. It is very supportive and looks good but it was not as comfortable as the Mephisto Niro Diamond that I ordered at the same time. At nearly $200 I had to love it to spend that much on a pair a shoes but I just can't justify it.

I bought these due to the rave reviews on comfort. Heel area was hard for me, hardly any cushion there.

I so wanted these shoes to work out but not to be. It's an odd combination of a somewhat wider foot bed but with an unusually long big toe shooting out there! I can say the darker caramel color is attractive and if the pink shoelaces don't float your boat, they did come with another pair the same color as the shoes.

I had the same problem with these ECCOs that I did with others I tried. I am a 9.5 and the 40s were just too snug, and the 41s were just too big. They also made my large feet look even bigger. I think they would be comfortable in a person with a whole sized foot, though.
