These may be the highest achievement yet in the Ecco brand. For my foot, the Biom line is the most supportive and comfortable, and the Fjuel Train model adds nice styling to a training shoe. The yak leather is unbelievably soft, and it's durable. However it can be scratched, as I discovered when I went unexpectedly scrambling over some rocks. They're not hiking shoes. I can wear them comfortably all day, and they are cool and breathable even though they have a more substantial feel than fabric sneakers.

Got these for my husband who is a loyal New Balance wearer. He loves these shoes! He says they are super comfortable and the perforations make it airy and cool. I think the overall look is very clean and the yak leather will wear well. Worth every penny!

Possibly the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I am on my feet for 8+ hours every day, and these are bar-none the best shoes for the job. I bought these to replace essentially the same, older version of Biom Sports after three years of almost daily wear. I hope these live up to those.

Like all the Ecco Biom shoes, of which I own 4, this is supremely comfortable and supportive. This model has the yak leather uppers, which are really tough and remain good looking even though they scuff. After all, we don't put shoe polish on our training shoes. These replace a pair of Biom with yak leather that lasted for 3 years of hard wear. Also, what is not intuitive, the yak leather is soft and it breathes surprisingly well. If you expect to wear them in very hot weather, or if you want to cut down a few ounces of weight, try the Biom Fuel Racer.

Bought these to use as everyday work shoes in a business casual (technology industry) setting. So far they've been great. Very comfortable and supple right out of the box, with good cushioning, arch support, and little-to-no break-in required I've also gotten a number of compliments on their appearance, which is subtle and attractive, although I'd like the look even more if the eyelets were blacked out (admittedly something I could probably fix easily with a sharpie if I were so-inclined). So, overall they've done a great job of providing the comfort of a sneaker combined with a mature, subtle, appropriate-for-work look.

Fit was easy because I was replacing a pair of Ecco Biom. Because the new ones are leather they took a day to break in but are very comfortable. I've also had lots of nice comments on their looks.

Great all purpose "Evening" shoe. Looks a little dress-up without looking too fancy. Not cheap, but Ecco is always a good quality purchase.....

I ordered EU size 38 (US 7--7.5). This shoe definitely felt closer to 7.5 than 7. Since I only tried the shoe on and found it too large, I returned it, so cannot comment on issues of comfort or support. The shoe is beautifully made -- but it just doesn't have the pazazz I'd like in an exercise shoe. The reason I gave a 5-star overall rating was because of the quality of the shoe

One of the most comfortable shoes that I have ever owned. Impeccable construction, quality materials, glove-like leather. Ecco is capable of making some great shoes, and this is a good example of Ecco at its best. The more I wear these, the more I love them. At first, I wore them as trainers, then walkers, and finally I started wearing them as my default after work shoe. I wish I could have more shoes built on this model!

Extremely comfortable shoes! These shoes look nice and are excellent for walking and exercise.

These shoes are expensive but worth it. They are much cooler in hand than the images here suggest. The last pair of Ecco trainers lasted almost six years in the gym. These are worth it.

I like them but I prefer a wider toe style so these are my 'out on the town' shoes. Very comfortable and stylish.

Clean lines goo look. Wish arch support was better.. look like I’ll have to add sloe inserts... Ecco is one of the best shoe creators in the game...

Since I have a wide foot, I have mixed reviews of this shoe...first of all, thanks to Zappos great return policy, I had to send the shoes back for a larger size. The larger size fit well, and the leather is soft, but for those of you with wide feet a warning-- the shoe runs narrow over the widest part of the foot. In time the leather gives and the shoes are quite comfortable, but my wider right foot hangs over the sole, and I wonder how this will affect balance and pronation in a few months. On the positive side, the shoe seems to possess a very supportive inner orthotic molded into the shoe itself and is very comfortable. Just an observation...lately Ecco seems to be making narrower shoes, and I wish they'd get back to a more generous width.

Otherwise great shoe ruined by the exposed heel seam mentioned in other reviews.
