I ordered these for my husband. He loves them the size is true to fit. Not only are they super supportive on a big guy they look great!

If you wear a brace or orthotic/afo, this shoe in wide width works great! It's plenty wide and deep enough to accommodate a brace. This shoe is also built very well and I love the stretchy shoe strings!

I have a problem buying any shoes. First I take a size 12 1/2 narrow, B etc. almost impossible to find anywhere except Zappos. No stores carry them that I've found. So I buy from Zappos and if I must return them, which I never have, No problem.

Just purchased my New Balance 840v3 shoes and I must say they a perfect right our of the box. Good width and toe room for my size 14EE feet. I have been a fan of New Balance shoes for many years and have probably purchased 25-30 pairs. Keep up the good work New Balance. As always, Zappos' service continues to be top drawer. Thanks!!

I have wide feet and struggle to find a comfortable fit with extra cushioning. The New Balance 840 are plenty wide and have great cushioning. It's been years since I purchased New Balance and these are the best one's I've ever had. I noticed they are made in the US and that was a plus. Quality is very good. When they were delivered they were a little too long. I called the Customer Service Line and they provided me the number to send them back via UPS (no cost). They then asked me about a new pair - new size and color. It was so easy. I sent them back the next day. The new shoes arrived really quick. The customer service and return policy, may be the best I've ever experienced for any product. First class!

FINALLY! Have been trying a ton of shoes (thank you Zappos for making it possible) to find the best shoes for my VERY WIDE orthotic inserts. These not only fit, they've got a bit of helpful bounce to them and conform enough to my feet to give my arches some support when I'm on my toes (plank pose) - plus they are grippy at the toes, which helps make plank slightly less awful. Wide orthotic wearers, search no further. May buy another of these just in case they discontinue or something.

Being a big guy with large, wide feet, it's hard to find good shoes that fit and are comfortable. Enter the New Balance 840v3. I had given up on NB a few years ago, as their quality seemed to have slid. But these 840v3's are made in the USA, fit like the New Balance of old, and are very well constructed. I'm happy, and so are my feet.

Might be the best pair of shoes I've placed my feet in. I use orthotics, which this show accommodates perfectly. However, I've experimented with the provided insoles that came with the shoe and they feel amazing!

I have a narrow, large foot - 14 B. Prior to finding this shoe I was used to lacing my sneakers up 'til the sides nearly met. This shoe laces up with plenty of room left between the sides. I know the narrow widths are more expensive than the medium (D) widths but it is well worth it. It's become the only casual shoe I wear.

This is a very well-built shoe. I like the fact that it feels very substantial on my foot. The heel has a great deal of cushioning which makes for a very comfortable walk. It is very stylish.

The 840v3 is one of the best shoes I have worn. Zappos always does a great job in giving an accurate description their products; the sizing, comfort, and performance. This shoe is not different. Great fit. Light weight but highly supportive, especially in the arch. I need good arch support and this shoe delivers that. I don't run a lot of miles but I'm on my feet a lot during the day. I also bought a pair to use while I do trade shows, where I'm standing and walking around for 8 to 10 hours a day. This shoe is one of the most comfortable and durable shoes I have worn.

Great Shoe. This is my 3rd pair of New Balance shoes and they keep getting better. The arch support in these shoes are fantastic. These are the most comfortable shoes I have purchased yet.

I've been wearing Brooks Addiction for years but decided to try these shoes. The sizing is the same (I wear 9 1/2 EEEE.) The difference is in the cushioning. The New Balance 840v3 has more cushioning than the Brooks Addiction. I prefer the New Balance.

If you're looking for an extra wide width, New Balance has a great line of shoes. I have these shoes in both colors. i recommend them. They seem to be for the 'Baby Boomer' generation!

These are my second pair of NB's and they are great. I have a tendency to walk inwardly and these shores are built for people like me. I am a intense treadmill user and these shoes allow me to do these workouts without much pain. I cannot attest to the running aspect of the shoes since I had to forgo running many years ago because of my knees, perhaps by wearing inferior shoes. They are a great value.

Always buy New Balance, great workmanship, great quality, great wearing shoe, looks super and is American made which helps everyone

Great shoes! They fit very well and because I have such flat feet, I added Dr. Scholls' inserts. I work in a hospital and am on my feet several hours a day but no sore feet. One minor problem; you could not be a burglar with these shoes. They do squeak a bit when you walk, but it's not a big deal. Overall, I am very pleased with the shoes.

My husband called and said You aren't sending these shoes back. He's an avid Merrell wearer but needed something else, and wow this fit the bill! I guess he's a Merrell and NB guy now.
