I bought the pair on sale, so the price was right. I wear 10.5 or 11 in every athletic shoe I own. I exchanged these for a 9.5, and they still fit strangely. The toe box is large, which is typically good, but the toe box on these shoes seems to be oddly large. There is some movement in the heel as well. They look good and I am a fan of boa-laced golf shoes. We will see how they play this year. Order one full size down.

Aesthetically, these are some of my favorite golf shoes. They look super sharp and initially they feel relatively comfortable. But once I start playing and walking up/down hills, the fit seems to change drastically. They feel way too big and it feels like my foot is falling off of the sole on the sides. I have 5 other pair of FJ golf shoes and this is the first pair that I've had an issue with as far as the fit goes. They aren't waterproof but I have reported that to the warranty team and they have been very friendly and helpful (so far, the warranty has not yet been completed). Fit and waterproofing was disappointing. Love all of my other FJ shoes!

These shoes feel great but after one round turn a dirty color. I own the light grey and they turned a dirty brown. And no I don't play in the sand a lot and no not in the plains of west Texas.

This show's width fits like a "B". But it is still too wide for those with an "A" width or narrower.

I used this shoe for the first time over the past weekend 2 rounds. I noticed that the back of the shoe has a very stiff part that dug into my heel as I was walking after I had just put them on by the 6th hole both of my ankles had been wore raw by the stiff part in the back of the shoe. The next day I wore a pair of higher socks but the damage had already been done. The shoe is comfortable everywhere else but beware the rub in the back

The shoe material is too stretchy. It makes the fit too large. Style is nice.

Sometimes the BOA jams when trying to take the shoes off. It never grips your foot correctly. You're always fiddling with the BOA adjuster as it feels like the shoes loosen up during the round. You hit your heel on the golf cart when getting in and out, so the shoes loosen up. Great shoes, but the BOA system is garbage and not worth the cost.

As a previous owner who has an aging pair of the FJ Hyperflex shoes; I was hoping to find a new pair to provide me with as much comfort and satisfaction... this was my first experience ordering shoes from a "website" -- so I was a little leery - especially if I had to return them... But what a terrific purchase experience! The new pair arrived as promised on the order confirmation -- however, I was a little disappointed with the new Hyperflex model.... The show tongue is now affixed to the shoe (not "floating" as in precious Hyperflex models). Further, I was unable to select either a "wide" or "Extra Wide" option for my particular size. So I did have to return the shoes. This was the "easy" part of the transaction. I simply packaged up my order in the original boxes, FJ had already included all of the return information and a pre-paid return label, and dropped the box off at my nearest FedEx depot. EASY! I have since revisited the FJ site and purchased a different model that WAS available for my sizing requirements and am satisfied with my new purchase. Now, I am just awaiting the refund of my original purchase to show on my credit card statement, and I will be 100% satisfied.... but I am confident that this won't be an issue. Thanks FootJoy, for making this an easy on-line ordering experience!

Loved the look and the colors, but the hyper flex model is not for me. Light, yes, but after trying them on there is not enough stability for me. I have the Alpha tours and there isn't a better golf shoe on the market.

Comfortable but little support for golfing. The " sock like" material provides zero lateral support. If your on any type of slope, your foot feels like its sliding off the sole . Also, shoes are impossible to keep clean. I play in a very dry desert climate ( Scottsdale az) and After only 2 rounds, the sock like material looks like they are 2 years old. Washing machine seems to work best, but one round later and you're back to horrible looking shoes. Stick with leather for support and keeping shoes looking clean

I had to return apon receiving, shoes came as ordered, correct size, however I would say they were tagged wrong during manufacturing. I've purchased multiple pairs of FJ's over the years, first time sizing was incorrect.

I bought a pair in Spring of 2021 and was able to only get about 3 rounds, including 1 walking, as well as some range sessions in before I had to bench them for good. The shoes felt a little snug when they first arrived, but wearing around the house loosened them up enough. The are a very comfortable shoe for walking around in, they look great and felt very like good quality. However, after playing only a few rounds in the shoes, the mesh upper started giving too much while making swings, enough that my foot felt like it was slipping over the last on my follow-through. I tried to tie the laces a little tighter to compensate, but that wasn't enough. I wish they held up better, as I loved the look and the comfort when not making a golf swing. I have thought about trying the BOA pair to see if that would help, but am hesitant to commit the money if those too wear out quickly. I'm still an FJ loyalist and hope that in the future something comes along to fill the spikeless role in my shoe rotation.

I had to return because they were too big. Customer service was difficult to work with and I had to travel over 90 miles to make the return via FedEx.

Look cool, but could not fit my foot inside. I ordered a size 10 wide and size 10.5 wide. I have a high instep (arch) and could not get my foot in the shoes and had to return both sizes.

This review is for the 2022 version, so please take it with a grain of salt. These shoes are great in theory however they are not worth the premium price tag. The fit is awkward, the heal is spacious and have little to no support. This may have been fixed in newer models. My heal has slid around since day one and has now worn a hole in the inside fabric of both shoes. It's disappointing after only 12-15 rounds. I will say that the water resistance has been excellent. From early mornings to heavy downpours, my feet have stayed dry. Again, hopefully the new design address the heal issue but the 2022 version has been lacklustre.

These shoes are super compfortable. Unfortunately the waterproofing is not great. My orginal pair leaked after about 10 months. I was fortunate enough to get a replacement pair; hwoever, they started leaking after about 6 weeks.

They run a full size too large , when you bring in Boa it collects on the side and makes it uncomfortable. I tried returning but customer service didn't answer because it was more than 30 days but never worn.

I am an avid golfer, walk and usually carry, 6-7 days a week depending upon weather. These Hyperflex BOAs are great walking shoes, but the waterproofing is leaking on both, and the BOA threads have broken on both pair. One pair after 1 years, the other after 11 months. Unfortunately, the breaks were both on the left shoe. I am not certain what to replace them with. Hyperflex laced shoes are a possibility, but the waterproofing issue remains a problem. I used to love the Golf Sneaker/Golf Specialty, but I tried on the new model and it doesn't fit as well.

I bought my first pair of Hyperflex BOA in August 2022. I liked them so much my wife got me a second pair for Christmas 2022. I am an old but avid golfer. I almost always walk, sometimes carry, sometimes use a battery powered push cart. I play the Asheville Municipal Golf Course, which has a flat nine and a hilly nine. The shoes handle the slopes with ease. They are comfortable and wrere a 4 rating until yesterday. The only complaint until then was they were not waterproof, even in heavy dew. My feet didn't get wet, but felt damp. The BOA system snapped on my oldest pair while playing and walking yesterday. There is no way to fix the BOA thread and no way to put laces in the shoe. I had been using FJ Golf Sneakers for many years, and they usually lasted for up to 3 years. I would have bought the new model Sneaker last August, but I couldn't find my 9 wide size anywhere. I looked for an alternative and found the Hyperflex BOA, tried them on and they felt great. I am hard on shoes, bags and any kind of golf equipment. Weather permitting, I play 6-7 days a week, a mix of 9 & 18 holes. I have been known to wear out bags in the 1 year warranty, but never shoes. I always use 2 pair, alternating them, and use shoe trees. I will buy more Footoys, as they fit me well, but no more BOA. Back to using Locklaces.

Ordered my 4th pair of Footjoys with the expectation of receiving the excellent quality and fit I had in the past. Fount the design of the Hyperflex BOA had changed that with a high instep that I have the Hyperflex foot covering over the instep portion of the shoe did not allow my to get my foot into the shoe without much work and then the shoe was too tight over the top of my foot. I usually found that the previous footjoy shoes, both with strings and BOA, in a size 9 4E would fit but I ordered a 9 1/2 4E this time and they still were not comfortable after I got them on. I still feel that Footjoy still makes the best golf shoe on the market but had to go with another company because of the new design on their new styles of shoes.
