I am SOOOOOO bummed these did not work for me. They are so gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for. The leather is soft and the cutouts on the boot shaft coupled with the back tie are so sexy. Here was MY problem - they hit me directly in the middle of my knee, so they were too tall (if I wanted to just walk around and not bend my legs, they would have been terrific). I'm 5'5", average leg height. Curses not being 5'7" or taller, because I would have been sporting these boots with the majority of my outfits..

I like how these boots are different from the Fryes that everyone is wearing thees days. I ordered a half size down after reading reviews and regret the decision. I usually wear a 9 and could barely get my foot into the 8.5. Sadly, they are going back. I didn't love how thin the leather is on the shaft, so I don't think I will exchange them. The search continues...

I absolutely love Bed Stu boots. This boot is more in line with the sizing of the Manchester boot. If you love Bed Stu you understand that their sizing is random. I am a solid size 11, maybe plus. I am able to wear the size 11, The nice thing about the leather of Bed Stu is that its pliable and will form to the foot as you wear it more frequently, making it as comfortable as an "old shoe(boot)" I have pretty big calves which makes the lacing helpful but I am hoping the calf will stretch a skosh with time.

I accidentally ordered these twice. I was so excited! These are my favorite boots right now and I get compliments every time I wear them!!!

Comfortable right out of the box. The leather is soft and beautiful. They do run large but I was able to order the correct size after reading other reviews. So happy!!!

These boots are beautiful! Mine are black with tones of silver and/or violet-so pretty not a harsh, flat black. The leather cut outs help make the boot more feminine. I ordered 1/2 size smaller (7 1/2 instead of my normal 8) after reading the reviews. They felt slightly tight when I first put them on but after wearing them for a short period of time they were perfect. I didn't want to take them off and my husband loves them. I can't wait to wear them this fall.

Love these. If you have narrow calves, these won't make you look like you're standing in buckets - but there is still room for your jeans.

This is my favorite pair of boots! I have thin calves and these boots actually fit. I wear an 8 in most shoes. But in boots I like to size up to wear heavier socks. You do not need to size up because these boots are a little big. The 8 fit perfectly with socks. And they are extremely comfortable. They are beautiful boots. I would buy them again.

These are beautiful boots. They are well made, nice quality. Like another pair that I have, they run long about a size. Because of the cutouts, these boots can be worn well into the spring.

This is a beautiful boot, unfortunately it hits me at the lower part of the knee and in a not so flattering spot. (I prefer a inch below or over the knee for my legs.) I'm 5'6" and a size 10. Otherwise the fit was good. The tie in the back makes it easy to fit calf, however I found the mesh part to be a little snug on my midsize calf. The leather is SO soft I'm sure it would stretch in time. They will never slouch due to the tie in the back. I'm so sad these boots did not work for me.

I love these boots. I am 5'11" and typically wear a 10½. I bought both 10 and 11. The 11 was super big and tall (went to awkward height on my knee cap). The 10 fit like a glove and I love that I can tie the back tighter for skinnier calf. Best buy of the year!

Fantastic boots - so unique. Fit great and look wonderful. Just be careful of the leather bottom which is quite slippery. I took an electric sander and scuffed up the bottom to make it more stable to walk on. Worked great. Absolutely love these boots!

I love the look of this boot! It does get slippery on the sole so be careful. The one thing I do not like, is if I am not wearing knee high socks, I can't seem to get them tight enough on my calf & they start to slouch down.

These are beautiful boots, but they are not high enough to be over the knee boots as described. I'm 5'6" and they only come to the bottom of my knee cap. I'm going to return them.
