I absolutely love these boots. I had originally seen them in a local retailer, but did not purchase due to the price tag. I did purchase another pair of Pikolino shoes though! After searching for ankle boots for several weeks, I came back for these, and they no longer had my size! Fortunately, Zappos did! They are very comfortable, and true to size. I am an 8½, slightly wide foot with bunion, and the 39 fits perfectly! These boots are worth the money!

I absolutely love these boots! I usually wear a 4-4½, have very wide feet with a high instep, and these are comfortable, and a bit roomy when they stretch. I first purchased the taller Rotterdam 902-9948. I wore them all the time, including walking around Seattle all day, 12 miles. My feet never hurt. I have since purchased these boots in Cuero and Black. They are very comfortable, and I get many compliments. They are great with skinny jeans rolled up, straight leg, skirts. I am a hair stylist, and these are my go-to for a long day. I will continue to buy the Rotterdam, as long as Pikolinos makes them!

Super comfortable shoes! Loved them. I have "skinny" ankles and the boot has too much volume at the ankle for me - purely aesthetics.

Gorgeous, incredibly comfortable boots. The heel is a flattering height for skinny jeans or skirts and with the slightly stacked sole I hardly feel it when I walk. The color is a rich dark brown with a hint of burgundy that looks beautiful with black or brown. I wear a size 7 but have bunions so I don't want too snug a boot. I ordered the 38 and it's perfect. My favorite boot ever!

I tried these on after standing all day at work. They were so comfy that I wore them around the house until bedtime. The shaft is such a buttery-soft leather that I barely felt it touch my leg when I flexed my ankles. The foot bed moved with my feet every step I took, and was so cushioned that I didn't need to sit down until bedtime. Also, I have 'kid feet' or very short toes. The toe box of these was just right. I did notice my heel slip about 1/4 to 1/2" as I walked around, but this is common with new boots and will go away as they become more broken in. My Ariat cowboy boots were the same way, and they fit so great I could sleep in them. I feel the same way about my new Pikolinos, and am now a converted fan of theirs. I could go on and on about how great these boots are, or you could just get them and find out for yourself.

Fabulous boot, great quality and styling. Felt like a custom made bootie. Alas, I must return due to too much pressure on an arthritic toe. A bit narrow for my feet which are normally a medium. Too bad Pikolino doesn't offer a wide in their booties. I would gladly buy more.

These boots are so chic and comfortable! They work great with leggings, jeans, and skirts. The bed of the boot is very padded, and the rubber sole means I can wear these all day comfortably.

These boots are comfy & cute. Only problem was that I had to use half soles for arch support. Insoles aren’t removable, so half sole inserts worked well. Now they are perfect! I’ve tried about 6 other pairs of ankle boots and these are the ones for me!

I really liked these boots, but did not end up keeping them. The size was great, and the quality excellent. What I didn't like is the tag on the outside of the boot. Because its brown and the boot is black it stood out too much. I really like this brand, and suggested you buy this boot!

I have a size 9.5, narrowish foot. These fit perfectly well, and in the short time I've had them, seem comfortable. If my feet "don't notice" the shoe, nothing rubs, slips or irritates, then all I'm left with is great looking shoes! These boots (in cognac) are beautiful, simple and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by how they feel as comfortable as flats.

I normally wear a size 8. The 38 was too small and the 39 was just a tad too big, but once I put in an orthodic insert it fit perfectly, so I'm keeping them. They look very nice.

Loved the style; it looked great on my feet. It fit wonderfully everywhere EXCEPT the heel. I tried a couple of different sizes, and bought/experimented with different heel inserts, but regardless of what I did, the heel kept slipping significantly. I usually wear a medium width in shoes, occasionally certain brands require a narrow, but this shoe fit well in the front half but way too wide in the back. Unfortunately, they needed to be returned as much as I love everything else about it.

I like the boots but what bothers me is the clicking sound the heels make as I walk… Sounds as if there something sticky on the bottom of the heel....annoying

Couldn’t open one of the zippers on these, so I really couldn’t give them a chance. The one I tried on felt a little tight and too narrow. Beautiful shoe, but for a different shape of foot, I think. Returned.

I love the look and feel of these boots. The cushioned foot bed feels divine, the leather is nice and soft, and nothing rubs on my ankle bone! The one quirk is that the left heel slips more than the right, and on inspection I can see that the left boot's shaft is slightly larger than the other. I'm going to re-order these boots in the same size to see if I can find a more equally-sized pair.

Very nice leather quality and sole, if the pair I got fit I would keep them.

Comfortable and adorable right out of the box! A little worried about how the red will hold up (quality wise) on the toe area.

These boots are very cute. I was worried about the suede like heel and the buckle, but they look great with my work pants and jeans. I know some people might wear them with skirts, but I just don't like that look. The heel is a little wider than the rest of the boot for me. The best part about the boot is the sole and heel. They do not 'click click' on tiles and they have good traction.

This is a beautiful boot, sturdy with quality leather and stitching ; however, it did not fit my more narrow foot. I am a true 8.5, but with a narrow foot, I generally order a 1/2 size down, 8M. I first ordered the 38 (7.5-8) which was too short in length. The 39 (8.5-9) was way too big (heel slipped out) even with thicker socks. Rotterdam is a great style, but does not work for a slender or narrow foot. I own 2 other pair of Pikolinos boots and did not have this problem.

This was a lovely boot, and I was disappointed that it does not come in wide, I have a somewhat wide foot, but bunion often requires a wide size. I had to return it.

Lovely boots, very comfortable. Unfortunately, Zappos shipped a scuffed pair first, then sent a second pair even more scuffed and worn-looking (no tags or supportive stuffing, greasy marks showing wear on the shank where it rubbed the opposite foot). I kept the first pair since it was less worn-looking. For $185, they should be sending only shoes that are in new condition.

This bootie in garnet is a lovely thing, indeed, but it ran so short and narrow in a 41, I must return the pair. I am a true size 11 medium in all the usual brands for the taller woman — Ecco, Naturalizer, Clarks, Born, Sofft. Sadly, the garnet is not available currently in a 42. Customer service worked hard to find a pair for me even from another vendor. I am returning them and holding onto the credit, hoping another pair will come in or I can indulge my tastes forsummer sandals before spring. Order half a size up and enjoy them for me. Beautiful leather, neat styling, good zipper, great soles and perfect heel height. Sleek and classy and fun.
