As others have mentioned, these fit a little differently than the typical AE shoe built on the 65 last (park Abe, strand, Mcallister, etc.). As a comparison
Normal shoe size on brannock device: 10 D
AE park Ave: 9E
Cornwallis: 10E
So I'd recommend sizing at least a half size up and consider bumping up the width to accommodate the narrow toe box.

Super comfortable. Great style, I hope they don't stop making these. Or maybe I should be glad since no one else will have it! :)
I'd also recommend:
Florsheim, Rockport.

I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable these were right out of the box. On day one I walked nearly half a mile to a wedding then spent maybe 30-45 minutes dancing in them with zero pain.

I have four pairs of the Cornwallis Dress Oxford and consider them the highest quality, best dress shoe I have worn. I own Ferragamo, two pair of Gucci and a Bruno Magli along with a Johnston and Murphy and consider the Cornwallis far superior to any other shoe. I will be trying the AE Fifth Avenue next.

I have many pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes. The construction is top notch. I've never wore a pair out that couldn't be resoled. I had to have the Cornwallis in navy. I'm not disappointed.

I liked the look of this shoe as soon as it was released. Originally I was going to purchase it in walnut, because the burnishing showed more in the lighter color. When I went to my local store, the only color in my size was brown. As soon as I tried it on and looked down, I knew brown was the right color. It looks great with jeans, pants, and dress slacks. I feel the brown gives it a bit more versatility to wear for any type of occasion, day or night. I also found the sizing to be spot on and comfortable.
I own about a dozen Allen Edmonds and have been buying them for 20 years, and I still wear my original pair. I've kept my shoes in excellent condition by following a few guidelines. I clean and condition my shoes before the first use. Since the shoes might have been in inventory for a while, you want to make sure the leather is hydrated before wearing them. After that it's just regular intervals of cleaning, conditioning, and polishing/shining. And of course I always use proper fitting cedar shoe trees. Another important bit of information is to not wear the same pair of shoes on successive days. This way the shoe has time to naturally dry out between wearings.

I ended up returning these because I didn't like the style as much as I thought I would. Specifically the pattern on the toe. Too bad, they fit my feet quite well; better than the Fifth Ave. I tried the month previously (which were too narrow despite also being E width) and the other Allen Edmonds I've had for several years (which are too wide despite being E width). I guess I should start keeping track of which Allen Edmonds lasts I like.

I just received these shoes in the Midnight Navy color. Very nice. The color is very close to black so it is hard to tell them apart without direct light on them. The shoes had a bit of a color variation and what looked like brown leather where the dye didn't take well on the sides but with some navy shoe polish I was able to fix it up. Blue is my favorite color so I just had to have them. They seem to run a bit smaller than I would have expected so I need to wear a thinner sock when wearing them. Overall not a bad purchase, just wish the quality control was a bit more detailed for this expensive of a shoe.

I ordered these in the "dark chili" color and couldn't be happier about wearing them. As with other reviewers, I found I had to go one width up from how I measured. They fit slightly more loosely around the ball of the foot than the Park Ave. or other 5-last shoes.
The look is great, but since they are fairly elongated, they crease a little more in the forefoot and around the big toe than do my other Allen Edmonds shoes.
Quality of the materials and craftsmanship are both excellent.

Cornwallis runs narrow. They hurt, after 3 days of wear. Hopefully they will loosen up a bit. Beautiful, well-made shoe though.

The Beauty of the Shoe is outdone by its discomfort. The most uncomfortable shoe I have owned in years. Definitely well made, fine craftsmanship. But, within a few hours of wear, my feet are cramping. Very disappointed.

The comfort of these shoes does NOT match the looks. They're hard and uncomfortable, particularly if you need to walk a lot. Not up to the traditional quality and comfort of Allen Edmonds. I would not recommend these shoes at all.

The shoes are very beautiful and all but the width is not a true D. They run tighter across the instep and are uncomfortable.
I'd also recommend:
order a size wider than you think.
