Size DOWN! I wear 14 and 15 when the shoe is truly built small. Only two brands do I wear 13 (Converse Chuck Taylors and Timberland boots). I am actually shocked I got this wrong and have to size down to 13. Do not make the same mistake. Warning: For those who haven't shopped at Zappos recently there exchange policy has changed. Your credit is now transferred to a gift card in order to place the exchange which means if you would like to make a complete return you are stuck with store credit. Still better then having to repurchase if your on a tight budget, but in the event you have to abandon ship to get the right shoe no luck. You will be going down with the ship as you lose money on the gift card in maintenance fees (all gift cards do this).

A perfect shoe for my teenage son who hates dress shoes. He reluctantly admitted they were more comfortable than other dress shoes he's had in the past and he doesn't mind wearing them!

Crazy comfy. They don't tell you that there's extra padding in the insole...I use these shoes while primarily standing for 8 hours and every minute I'm in them, I'm happy I got them. They're a little bigger than I expected. Not enough to go through the trouble of returning them and waiting for new ones, but you might want to try going a half a size down from your typical shoe size.

It's a very junky shoe that doesn't last more than a month!!

I ordered these for my husband. He says they are very comfortable and feel true to size. He stands for long period of time at work and says they very supportive and have slot of cushion. He is very satisfied with the shoes.

He loves these! Had to try three sizes, but as they say, the third time is the charm. He’s usually a 9.5, but both the 9.5 and the 9 were too big. He ended up with an 8.5 that he says fits perfectly. Great dress shoe with a comfortable cushion. Probably will order him another pair to have as a backup.

These comfortably immediately out of the box--being new shoes they're a bit tight (but not uncomfortably) until they stretch out. Based on other reviews I went with a 9 instead of 9.5 and in terms of overall fit they're snug but a bit longer than I thought so going a half size down worked out well to give a bit of toe space. They look nice and I expect them to be my daily work shoes.

When on your feet at work, you need good cushioning and support. These provide that very well - the entire sole is cushioned, not just the heel. Since I just got these, they're still a little stiff - but I anticipate that they'll conform over time, and grow even more comfortable. While the ankle support is a little tight at first, that's also to be expected to relax over time (breaking them in, as it were). However, the width was standard (not too thin or wide) - I actually prefer a wider size, but since most indicate that these run wide I opted for the standard. A wise choice it turns out, as the only 'tightness' was in the ankle area. Construction is solid, with double-stitching in all areas that count - single stitching for additional reinforcement and aesthetics. Notice no full seam on back or toe (a plus). Actual sole and heel are exceedingly well-made, and are designed for repeated, every day wear. Square toe, nothing too flashy. If you want a solid shoe that is made to last in a corporate work environment, this is an exceptional choice. Will order again if all expectations hold up - and it appears that they will.

Still too big for my size, i need to get a 8.5 size

As always Zappos is amazing. The shoes are exactly as pictured however after several wears the insoles have come apart.

Following the advice of so many other reviewers I ordered 1/2 size down. During my first steps on the carpet both heels lifted out, as if I were wearing flip-flops. Not only were they too long, but when I moved my feet forward into the toe spaces the uncomfortable constriction revealed that the advertised "EE" width was way too narrow. In fact the shoe itself is not labeled as EE, but as "W." Visually attractive shoes regrettably returned for credit.

The fit and size were right on. They are comfortable and pliable.

I just got the shoes, but so far so good! I had to exchange my first pair (too large) and the entire exchange process was fast and easy!

First time I purchased a Dockers shoe. The size and fit was same as my normal. It feels very comfortable. So far liking it!

Fit and size was same as my normal. However because it’s insole is so well padded and comfortable, I don’t need the inserts I generally use.

The width turned out alright for me. However the EE rated width really only felt like a single E ( still wide , just not as wide as a double EE).. The style lines & contours are simple, clean and elegant. The shoe feels very comfortable. The cost is very competitive.

While they fit fine and should loosen up even more with ware, the width was just slightly narrower than I had expected from what was described as an EE. It sort of gave the feeling it is closer to E than EE. Overall the fit is close to what would be expected. The inside is very comfortable. I really like them and count myself as a happy customer.
