I bought these boots recently and I absolutely love them. They are warm, but not too warm, comfortable, cute, and definitely waterproof. I rode in them today and they are easy to keep my heels down in. We are having thunderstorms, pouring rain, and flash flooding and any other boots I might have worn would have soaked through in minutes, but these kept my calves and feet completely dry and warm, and they are super easy to clean off after. They are perfect for horse shows, days at the barn, and the perfect boots to wear with a cute outfit. They are comfortable enough to walk long distance but also clean stalls in.
They are true to the color on the website, a light tan upper. Before I wore mine, I treated them with an extra layer of waterproofing beeswax, and the treatment turned the boots a rich chocolate color which I actually like a lot better than the light tan they were before. My friend has a similar pair and hers darkened with use, but I darkened mine before using them to protect the leather further. The first picture shows them after I rode in them and used them during a storm today, the second picture shows one boot before conditioning and one boot the original color, and the third picture also shows one boot before it was darkened.

I bought these for my self two years ago as a birthday gift and they are amazing! I wear them casually all the time and have ridden in them a few times. They are warm and comfortable. Love, Love, Love!

I've been wearing a pair of Braemar GTX boots for the last six months and absolutely love them. I'm in mine for a couple of hours every day for barn chores and wear them all day long, when I'm not in tall boots, at horse shows. The leather breathes well, so you won't get sweaty legs and feet like you do with rubber wellies. The nubuck does pick up stains from stirrup leathers and saddle soap if you ride in the boots, but mud rinses away with a squirt of the hose, with no damage to the boots. The leg is a little too loose for me to do much jumping in them, but I'm guessing they'd be great for trail riding. I was concerned that the lining wouldn't hold up, but it still looks good. Prepare to get lots of compliments if you buy these boots!

Purchased a few months ago and totally loved them. Bought one for the barn and general romps around town and purchased a second pair because I ride in my first pair and they get very muddy and dirty where they rub against my black saddle. To be honest, I have not started using my brand, spanking new pair and use the 'dirty' ones to go every where. And I receive compliments on these boots every where I go. They are warm and waterproof and extremely fashionable. I wore them to clean off my truck during our first snowstorm of the season, to the barn, to the shopping center (after we decided not to ride in our first snowstorm). They are amazing, so comfortable, so very pretty, so well made. I beat the "h..." out of them and run them under a hose to clean them off. People just stare at me but that's all you need to do. You run them under a hose and keep on going. Excellent addition to the Ariat collection and sure to give DuBarry a run for their money.

Gorgeous boots, very comfortable right out of the box. I ordered my normal size and had a good 3 inches in front of my toes. My feet tend to be on the wider side with a high arch, and the whole foot was roomy (this is sometimes a problem in other ariat shoes like the cowboy boots.) Returning for a smaller size because they really are nice boots. The sole is a little clunkier than the similarly priced and styled Dubarry's, but it seems very comfortable so far.

True to size, comfortable from the beginning, well fitted around normal size calves. If you have stick legs or chunkers, they may not be a great fit.

I bought these from my local tack shop a few months ago and I'm very happy with them! They were comfortable right out of the box, even with heavy wool socks. I ride in them and they fit inside English stirrups with no problem. I wear them out and about just as much as I wear them to the barn, because they look great with jeans tucked in as well as riding pants. Yes, they're pricey, especially compared to similar Dublin boots, but they're SO well-made and made from high-quality leather they make similar boots of other names seem thin, cheap, and flimsy in comparison. Hey, Ariat: I'd love to have the exact same boot in black...!

I love and own Ariat boots. I really wanted this style boot but had a couple issues with it. The negative side for me was: I wear a 10.5 and my feet are medium/narrow in the heel and I have a slim calf. Because the calf runs a bit wide, especially at the very top, the boots should be about 2 or so inches shorter. When I sit down, the top hits the underside of my thigh. I have very long calves (34 inseam) so I can't see how someone with shorter legs can sit in these until they significantly collapse over time. I could hop on a horse in them but they are technically to short to ride in so it seems they should be a little shorter to wear on the ground better. There seems to be a stiffiner over the top/end of the toe area. I'm assuming that is added in case a horse steps on your foot, but I don't like it. I wear leather boots so they will stretch to conform to my foot, especially in the toe area and this one most likely will not. I also think the toe area should have a bit more room, but that is a complaint I have with most footwear. The positive is: They are beautiful, very well made, nice quality materials and the foot/sole is very comfortable to walk in. I came very close to keeping them but for over $400 they needed to be perfect for me.

The calf is just too wide. That looks sloppy. The leather is super soft and buttery. I wanted to like these. Ariat, please make in a slim calf!

The boots were gorgeous *and* waterproof. I don't ride horses but was looking for something that would be beautiful, but also durable. These boots fit the bill, but were way too tall for me. They hit me behind my knee in a way that I wouldn't be able to sit or bend down comfortably. I'm 5'5" for reference. The boots would've needed to be a good 3-5 inches shorter to work for me. That's how tall they were.
