This is my third pair of Reiker boots. I love them and these are comfortable.

These boots felt very comfortable and the toe box fit well. I have a wide toe box and generally wear noat and keen and similar brands. However, I couldn't get these zipped around my calf. I take a wide calf boot and these said it had a circumference of 16", but they are fur lined and were too snug. Sad to say I have to return them.

I bought these boots based on the many reviews stating that the boots were too narrow around the shaft, and since I have very narrow calves, I thought they'd be perfect for me, but I could easily pinch out an inch flat (2" total) around the largest part of my calf, over jeans and socks, and still have wiggle room. The boots are very comfortable, and warm, but I will be returning them due to the calf measurement being too large for me. Also, I didn't pay attention to the fact that they are faux leather uppers, and they do have a bit of a cheap look to them, and I've read a few reviews on other sites about Rieker shoes coming apart at the soles after 6 months or so, so that's added to my decision. Otherwise, they are attractive, comfortable and warm. When I buy a boot, it's one I will wear pretty much daily, so I'm always concerned with their durability. Also, I have a bunion on my left foot, and these were very comfortable on both feet, so I think they'd be ok for a person with a slightly wider foot. Not bad for the price though!

My only (minor) complaint with these boots is that they are snug on the calf. If you have wider calves, they probably are not going to fit. My legs are fairly thin and the boots were pretty tight fitting with jeans on. So I will mostly wear these boots with leggings. Other than that, I really like the style and the construction. I wear a size 9 and they fit perfectly. These boots are also comfortable for doing a lot of walking.

These boots are very warm, just in the bit of trying on my feet were getting very hot, I even took socks off. A little too warm for my liking.

I got these boots last winter and fell in love with them... sad to say the love has faded. They are super stylish and I get compliments every time I wear them, but the toe has worn out (the black outer has worn away, leaving ugly gray marks) and they are no longer waterproof. One foot gets damp when I wear them in the snow. Very disappointed because my last pair of Riekers lasted through 8 Maine winters!

I thought the look of these boots were very stylish online but when I received them I was a little disappointed. The fit was a bit tight around the foot and I didn't like the actual color of the wine ones. They appeared very bright more reddish than wine. I also didn't feel as if they appeared expensive (not that they were); the price is reasonable for these boots, but I felt that the boot appeared a little cheap on me. (IMO) Overall it's a nice boot, but not for me. I am in the process of returning, thanks to Zappos' excellent customer service.

I love Rieker boots and while the I'm sure these would have been just as comfortable as the other pairs I own I could not zip them. It is listed as having a 16" circumference but not really. There is also little to no stretch at the top. I could not zip them up so sadly they will need to be returned.

My calves are exactly 16”. I could get these zipped with some difficulty, but they were pretty tight. As other reviewers said, there is a Sherpa-type lining in these which makes the shaft even tighter. Very cute and would have been comfortable had the shaft not been so tight, but unfortunately I had to return these.

I really love the way the red boots look but the fleece lining made the interior of the boot too small. I usually wear a size 9 in boots but the 40 was too small and the 41 is out of stock.

These boots calf circumference is definitely not as stated. I couldn't zip them more than half way. A shame because I love the boot. Would buy them if they were made in wider calf size. As another reviewer noted, the inner liner takes up a good bit of room, at least and inch of room. Disappointing.

I bought these boots in December to wear to my sons wedding rehearsal dinner. I have to say, they look just as good in person as they do online. There was no gap at the top that you get with some knee high boots, rubber sole so no slipping and look great with tucked in pants or skirts. Was fixing to buy a second pair in another color but then I noticed a large bubble on the boot shaft that's about 3"x1". I've worn these maybe 25 times and the fake leather coating was already coming off the boots! I wasn't happy paying $160 for fake leather but for that price I figured they would last a bit longer. I will never buy a Ryder brand again.
