I had to write a review, the sizing looks confusing on this zappos site. I have these in a size 39, my regular size is a 7.5-8 or a 38 in Finn Comfort silt sandals. I size up to a 39 in Finn comforts closed toed styles. Zappos says that a 39 is equivalent to a size 9 which is way off. a 39 in this style would be equal to a 8-8.5. these are the very best in comfort and quality and are worth their higher price tag, I couldn't live without them.

5 star shoes for quality, comfort, and support. I wear an 8, take a 39 in this style, and my feet are on the wider side. These shoes are so perfect for me I own 5 pairs of Linz, and I love the exclusive colors that Zappos carries. Zappos and Finn Comfort are great companies.

I just returned from a two week photo tour of Cuba. These shoes were perfect for walking securely on uneven cobblestones and cracked surfaces. My feet never tired from sunrise to sunset shoots.

Beautiful shoes that I found ran a bit small. Great color and feel. Had to return and order up. Hope the next size will work because it does have a wide toe-box. Crossing my fingers.

As other reviewers have noted - this shoe runs a half size small. I have several pairs of Finn Comforts and consistently wear a 39 in sandals and a 40 in close-toed shoes. In this boot - sized up to a 41 and the fit is just right (I'm a US 9.5 Womens). It runs slightly wider than my other Finns - perhaps because it's unisex. It is definitely a firm sole and insole which I didn't care for. I love the Finn Comfort Finnamic Soft Soles and have walked miles on pavement with them. They also felt flatter - sort of like a Birkenstock (with a similar very wide fit) which I find great for standing but not as good for walking in general. I just couldn't see this boot ever being as comfortable and given the price, will opt for another style. The blue is particularly nice and this shoe is incredibly well made as with all Finns. If you like the firmer sole and like the style - they can't be beat - just size up!

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. The footbed is very firm and structured at first, but I grew totally accustomed to it after just a couple of days. I have fairly wide feet and easily get blisters, but neither of those things have been an issue with these. Despite having a closet full of shoes, these are the only ones I've worn for the last 10 days because they are so wonderful. Lately I've been walking/standing most of the day and in these shoes I have no back pain (something I regularly experienced in the past when spending a lot of time on my feet). The materials are of exceptional quality and they're actually pretty cute in person (which is somewhat important to me as I'm under 30 and don't find most of the Finn Comfort styles very appealing). I was initially reluctant to buy these because of the high price, but I've now purchased them in the plum color as well because I don't want anything else on my feet. So far they've proven to be worth every penny.

Great boot like shoe. Makes your foot look smaller, Fits great with arch support similar to sandal. I bought a size larger and it fits great with room in the toe bed.

These Linz shoes are great. I am glad I took the advice of others and ordered size 41 rather than my usual 40. The larger size gives just the right amount of wiggle room and accommodates the wool socks I wear in winter. My feet feel comfy and well supported.

Another great bootie from Finn Comfort. It's a unisex design and looks it :). For a more feminine boot, check out the Berikon which Zappos also carries. Like the Berikon - this bootie runs a full size small. I am always a EU 40 in Finns and needed to size up to a 41. I also have a wide foot, and this would not be a style for those with narrow feet since you can't tighten it over the ball of the foot. This is a very flat sole - no wedge at all - and I find a bit of a wedge (Berikon) a little more comfortable, but it doesn't change that these are wonderful. Out of the box I went out on a day of errands in the rain and didn't want to take them off when I got home! Zappos please restock sizes in the blue color and keep the sale going!!

Great looking low boot -- very comfortable but firm -- ran a bit small in length but had plenty of toe room. I prefer a softer feel, so since these didn't fit, I'll look for another Finn Comfort style with the soft footbed.

Sadly, the famous Finn Comfort insole does not work for me. I like the hardness, but the bump under the arch just doesn't fit my feet and actually causes pain. Shoes have a great toe shape (like your foot, not pointed!) and deep toe box. One other problem for me was that the padding around the ankle pushed my foot forward and caused my toes to jam against the front and produce too much room behind my heel. The asphalt color is a very nice deep grey-blue.

I absolutely LOVE these shoes. I have two pair already, just ordered the brown leather for my 3rd. They fit like they were custom made for me. I have a wide foot and usually try to buy E or EE widths, but these have plenty of room. I get compliments on them regularly, and you can have them re-soled when they get worn down. Worth every penny.

This is my 6th pair of Linz because they are the very best in comfort with exceptional craftsmanship. I wear a women's size 8 and I fit in a 39 in the Linz style. My feet are on the wide side, and these have great width. I'm a busy girl and I can wear them for 14 hours, without rubbing or blisters or problems like that. A+ Quality

I wear a size 13 B in women's shoes so I always have problems. I had hopes for these shoes because they were European size 44. They were too short. I can't really address the comfort since I couldn't walk in them. I do wear orthotics so I would have removed the arch support that came with the shoe anyway. I did like the look. In the same order I did also brand that I had never heard about - Traq by Algeria. I wanted to love these boots. They are very well made. They are larger than expected with the pair that I ordered, unlike some other reviewer stated. I wear 5½ in regular shoes, and size 6 in boots. I ordered 36, and they are more of 6½ to 7, not 6 at all. The footbed is wide, which I liked. Nowadays, most shoes are very narrow. I do not have fat feet. I just always want to be able to wiggle my toes, and you certainly can do it in these boots. I could not get used to the hardness of the foot bed and the arch support. I was looking for softer footbed like FitFlop brand offers. I could not do exchanges because the smallest size is 36. But I found these well made shoes and will try other styles in the future.

These are not as supportively terrific as my last pair. Yes, attractive, but wide, and un-shaped!

Disappointed, fit was good, look was good, walking around on carpet not comfortable. Put back on my Mephisto slip ons and much more comfortable. I had a a pair of Finn Comfort clogs so I thought comfort would be the same. Not so, toe box on Linz boot had a very thin, flat, non cushioned feel. And yes I did read the reviews befor I purchased. Felt a a board under my arch.
