I rated these shoes highest possible prior, but then the first paid the sole fell off Zappos took care of it right away and replaced them and after 1-week the new pair the sole fell off, they have some sort of defective design which bums me because otherwise they would be the best shoes ever...will not order a replacement.

These shoes are beautiful but after the first day of wearing them I noticed the sole was pulling away from the shoe. I contacted Zappos about the issue and they were so kind to offer a replacement or return. Also, found that the size is a bit small. I usually wear an 8 but could have used an 8 1/2. Beautiful shoe, however.

DO NOT BUY! I wore these very expensive shoes ONCE, and the soles peeled off by the end of the night. Made incredibly poorly.

Very stylish and comfortable. These will go with so many thing in my wardrobe. I'm very happy to have them. I expect to wear them a lot. Style and wearability justifies the price!

These are beautifully crafted and wonderfully comfortable shoes. The red color is divine (slightly lighter than it appears on the picture). It is so gorgeous that I keep looking at it. However, in terms of how they flatter the feet - they are long shoes and a little wide at the sides where I would have preferred a narrower look. Also, at the heel they are very rounded and wide. The overall effect is less dainty than my usual style. However I am pleased with these attractive and interesting shoes and am excited to keep them.

These are the best pumps ever. I have lots of feet issues, bunions, plantar fasciitis, painful scar tissue after multiple surgeries for other stuff, high arches, you name it. I wore these out of the box all day and almost every since. I cannot recommend any higher, really wow! They are beautifully crafted, rich color, stable, perfect. They are true to size, 6.

Great shoe! I love Pikolinos, and these are one of the dressier shoes in that line. Fits well, soft, buttery leather, comfortable for someone who's had some foot problems.

I love these shoes! The color "arcilla" is gorgeous. The padded footbed is so cushy. Great style, very comfortable. My foot is on the wide side, so not sure how this would fit with someone with a narrow foot. I have quite a few Rieker shoes, which compare with these, but these have more padding in the footbed.

Gorgeous, simply gorgeous shoe! The picture simply doesn't do any justice to how beautiful, elegant, and classy this shoe really is! I ordered 1/2-1 size up and was glad I did!

I've been a fan of Pikolinos shoes for quite awhile. I purchased these shoes thinking that they might be stylish walking shoes for an upcoming trip to Germany. The first thing I noticed was how comfortable they are. My right foot is slightly longer than my left which makes it difficult to get the right size sometimes. I'm breaking these in before I travel; so far I think they'll do just fine. My only reservation is that the leather will need a fair amount of maintenance--they scuff quite easily.

With the first pair I got Thanksgiving 2015, I had the problem others mentioned with the sole falling apart. Zappos sent me a replacement pair, and so far I've not had any issues (and I check them every time I wear them). I've worn them maybe 20-25 times, and they're ok. They are INCREDIBLY comfortable and cute as all get out (I got the red ones). They go with pretty much everything--moderately dressy for the office, jeans casual--and look cute with leggings, too. They make me happy when I wear them.

Same as other reviewers. Price was high but given that I've had good results with Pikolinos in the past, I dove in. Initially, I loved shoes; very comfortable. But after three or four wears, the sole peeled away. Unfortunately, Zappos was out of the color I need so will issue a refund.

Fantastically comfortable, the only shoes as comfortable as my Merrell boots. The footbed is padded with arch support that isn't aggressive. Get compliments when I wear them, and the squared-off toe and cool heel stitching look edgy. I have hard-to-fit middle aged feet and stand all day, so these were a great find. The only quibble is that I wear a 40 or size 9 in all other shoes, and I these I took a 41.

I love Pikolinos. I have several pairs that are very comfortable and stylish. I was really disappointed that these were so uncomfortable. They are the same size as my other pairs, but are too small and uncomfortable.

I really tried to love these shoes. The first pair shipped in my real size so short that my big toe touched the end of the shoe. The second pair (next size up) was a good length, but was so wide that I had to return them. Darn.

Design is very attractive, it is comfortable. However after the first day of wearing these shoes, the sole was pulling away from the shoe. Very bad quality! Zappos has excellent customer service, they replaced them right away.

Like many other reviewers, after wearing these only a handful of times, the sole on one shoe has completely fallen apart. Too bad because they are cute and comfortable. I have other Pikolinos shoes which have lasted years, so this must be a bad batch. Zappos is giving me a full refund - thank you for the excellent customer service!

I love the styling of these shoes. They are super comfortable. And there is something horribly off in the quality of this batch. I have returned twice. all 3 pairs were defective. Hugely disappointed. After 2 months of infrequent wearing, the right shoe developed a crack through the sole. I returned and replaced (thanks Zappos!), and wore the next pair often. 3 months later the leather edges started lifting from the soles all the way around the front of both shoes. Returned and replaced again. Second time I wore the third pair, a horrible crack formed along stitching of right shoe, opening all the way to the inner sole. I gave up. Not sure what happened, but this shoe is flawed

Just like the other reviewers, I loved these shoes when I first received them - they were SO comfortable. But after just a few wearings the soles peeled off the shoes - with the right side, part of the sole literally fell off under my desk at work. I even took them to a local shoemaker to see if he could repair them, but he said the shoes are defective and couldn't be fixed. I've never been so disappointed in a shoe - they would have been perfect had they held up! I called Zappos and they're issuing a full refund. Love Zappos!

I was quite pleased with these shoes the first few days after purchase; however, this contentment with the shoes was very short lived. After about the fourth or fifth day of use, the sole began tearing off of one shoe. I returned the shoes and got a second pair of the same model shoe, thinking there had been a defect with the first pair. After two days, the sole started coming off of this second pair of shoes as well. There is clearly a major design problem with this model of shoe.

Same problem as AnnDee, soles fell off within the first 30 days after maybe 5 wears. I called the manufacturer and they said it was a known defect from one of their sources. Went to a lot of trouble getting made whole and the manufacturer not offering any kind of good will like a discount or credit on different style. Very disappointed to be put through this when they knew they had a problem.

These are so pretty, and the first time I wore them the rubber sole shredded where they were sewn and flopped around on the bottom as I walked. This happened right before I had to give teaching demonstration, so I ended up presenting in my stocking feet because I was worried about tripping and hurting myself. That oval of rubber fell out shortly after. I love the way these shoes look, so rather than return them, I took them to a cobbler in Laconia, New Hampshire. The cobbler told me that they were shot, but he could try to repair them as a challenge project. He will not charge me if he cannot fix them. It is really too bad, because they are otherwise well constructed (and beautiful, and fit perfectly, and have nice support...)

I wear a size 10 1/2 and ordered a 42 since some reviews said this shoe ran small. The size 42 was supposed to be for a size 11 and 11 1/2. It was so small my toes were hurting after just wearing them around for a short bit of time. Loved the shoe, so sad their sizes are not correct. The 42 is the largest this shoe comes in.
