They are great-looking boots. My experience with Ariat boot is that they run a little large. I normally wear a 15, but I order a 14, and they are just right. I like them so much I ordered a second pair.

I have the Sport Square toe in brown and blue. They are great boots for work. My job requires me to go outside and inside all the time. What I like is how the sole on the bottom does not have deep tread. I can clean the muck off of them quickly and not track a lot of dirt in the customers house. No laces means I don't fuss with tying them or having them get caught in a drain machine. They are extremely tough. The liners have never worn out. I'm more impressed by that than anything. You can replace the insoles and wear good thick socks for warmth and support. I have 2 pairs so when I'm cleaning one I have another to wear. There is no "good" pair. They are both worn depending on whichever I grab first or how clean they are. The pull tabs on the sides never broke off and I use them to put my boots on. One pair is over 2 years old and the other pair is 1 year old. I sometimes get them mixed up and wear the newer boot with the older boot. They definitely hold up and are very comfortable. The bright blue stitching matches my work shirts and has not one single fray. Being a plumber means I have to enter crawl spaces and drag the boots on their sides and scrape them every which way. The heel is nice and thick and is great for kicking a shovel. The boots over time mold to your feet and ankles. This makes them a little harder to get on and off. They will flare out at the top so after driving or sitting when you pants ride up you may have to pull your pant leg(s) over them. Sometimes you may want to put your pant legs in them. I have an automatic work truck and a manual transmission car. These boots are very comfortable for driving both. Some boots make it hard to feel the clutch because their heavy tread gets stuck on foot pedals. I normally wear size 11 shoes but I buy these at 10.5. They need to break in at first. That's actually a good thing. They will mold to your body and become perfectly your size. I ordered a third pair in black that I honestly don't look forward to breaking in but I know that it's worth it and the discomfort is only temporary. I hope this helps!

I have had these for a few months now. They were easy to break in. These boots are some of the most comfortable I've ever had. They are more comfortable than my running shoes.

is ariat extra wide boots true to size??? for my husband

This is my first pair of cowboy boots and the fit great on my feet. Not to tight and doesn't rub much. They look like they are made with pride. I can definitely tell that the Ariat family takes pride in their work making these boots. If you're looking for a nice pair of cowboy boots these are the ones to buy. I couldn't be happier with my pair.

I have these same boots but without the reinforced stitch over the top. Bought them in 2013 and wore them every day, walk 12-15 miles each weekend regularly, I'd longboard in them and all. It's 2021 and I'm wearing them as I type this now. I'm about to finally buy a new pair.
