There are other guest reviews for similar Sam Edelman style pumps for which the reviewer has suggested to "size down." I'm very glad that I didn't heed this advice when purchasing the desert red orella pump in size 7 1/2. I usually wear this size, and only rarely bump up to an 8. While the 7 1/2 fits, it fits very snug and I'm hoping the leather will stretch out with time. Despite the sizing issue, I am utterly smitten with these pumps. They are easy to walk in and wear all day at the office (if you are accustomed to wearing heels, that is). Additionally, they have a nice hint of toe cleavage without looking too pointy. I recommend them for gals who like the more modern interpretation of the classic pointy toe pump. They are fantastic for work or a night out. I have received compliments on them from both men and women. The suede is a high quality and the triangle detail of contrasting leather gives them a unique and beautiful flair. I highly recommend them. I'm thinking I might purchase the winter suede next. Thanks as always to the Zappos team for the speedy and accurate delivery.

I am age 56 close to 57 and for more than five years now I have been enduring pain in my left foot from a bunion. As a result, I can no longer wear my attractive heels and pumps. I have given them all to charity. I can wear wedges but they are not as sexy as heels. I did have one pair of heels that I am able to wear and that is my Sam Edelman Orella heels. Given the height of the heel is only about 2.5 - 3 inches, it still allow the look of a sexy and attractive heel and best of all, adds no pain to the bunion while wearing and I have worn the heel for several hours and have walk on hard floor surface and concrete. So, I have to find this shoe, in as many colors as possible to complete my shoe wardrobe, for the season of life where I am today. Hope this helps someone else that may have the same foot issue. Also, I think the Orella style is obsolete and Vienna is the replacement.

I was looking for nude-colored heels and these seem to be perfect! Great height and feels comfortable, although I have not yet worn them for an extended period of time yet. I usually have to size down when it comes to heels, which was true in this case.

These shoes are beautiful but they run big. I returned for half size smaller and they're perfect. I bought the black and may be back for the red!

Love the look of these shoes, I just wish they had fit! They fit well as a 9 but were not wide enough for me.

This is overall a cute stylish pump - throw back to the 80's. Sam Edelman is a reliable brand. However, it is on the stiff side and not made for comfort or long days at the office, unless heel or foot bed pads can be inserted. I think most will find it tight and possibly a half size small because of the narrow pointed toe. I have a semi-narrow foot and am a true 8 1/2, but because of my narrow size (average heels run fairly wide these days), I generally order one-half to one size down. I ordered a 7.5 in this shoe. Unfortunately, I found the back top side of the shoe to dig into my bone. Possibly a size up would relieve that, but then the back would slip off my narrow foot. I had to send these back.
