Very disappointed - I've been looking for a stylish black flat, but my size is really 4.5. I usually have luck with size 5, but given the European size of 5-5.5, it was just a bit too big. Very cute style!

Strange that other reviewers found these ran big when I found they ran small. I usually wear a 40-41 and found the 41 was quite small. The inside padding on these was also notably absent around the outside edge while they were very padded in the center. Maybe the padding was a size issue but Zappos didn't have the next bigger size.

Beautiful ballet flat, nice rich black velvet-like fabric with ribbon trim. However, the padding inside is too stiff and hard to walk in. Shoe seems a little too narrow in the sole also.

Loved this shoe - but unfortunately does not come in a wide width, and was too narrow in the toe bed. Had to return.

This is a nice and well made shoe, but a bit too narrow in the toe for my taste. The color is very rich, and the support in the footbed and sole are adequate.

The fit and size were alright, a little too narrow and didn't have the support I needed.

I wear 8.5 and have wide feet. I purchased the 8.5 but found that it was too tight. The back of the shoe had a tab that caused blistering, and my right foot screamed to "get out" after just a couple of hours. The shoe didn't have as much arch support as I had expected.

They feel comfortable but they’re too short and too narrow towards the toe.

I have bought J. Seibel shoes less than one month ago in a size 5-5.5 and they fit. This pair was large and felt more like a 6.5. Very disappointed

while the fit was fine, did not like the design in-person.

I have slightly narrow feet but these were too narrow in the toes for me. They hurt my little toe.

I usually wear a 9.5 to 10 in US sizes, 40-41 in European sizes. I ordered the 41(which is supposed to be 10-10.5) in the black with black patent toe, and found it to be slightly larger than I expected. I then ordered the next size down, 40 (supposedly 9-9.5) but it was way too small. I kept the 41, returned the 40 and so far so good, my feet do not slip out or blister. Decent footbed/padding, happy with arch support. Very casual, unfortunately verges a tad on the matronly (would have preferred a bit more dressier style, but I needed something for travel and didn't have time to look for anything else.)

For a “comfort” shoe, these were shockingly uncomfortable. I bought them for a work conference and ended up having to put on my heels because these were so painful to wear. The flap in the back also rubbed a blister in my heel after a very short time. This is a ridiculous price for a below average shoe.

This shoe is fairly comfortable, but would have been better with more cushioning and more arch support. Also needs more toe room. I like the color and style. I’m keeping them but will only wear when I won’t be doing much walking.

well the 7-7.5 was too short in the toes. If I order a 8-8.5 they are going to be way too big. The sizing is terrible. Don't really have any options. No size in middle. No sized like normal shoes in America. How disappointing. The color was nice .

Even though these are stated to be 9 to 9.5, they were too small for me. I wear 9 to 9.5 but I think these run small.

Not for wide foot. My foot is wider side of medium. This shoe feels great, very comfortable, but the toe puckers. I think it's because my foot is too wide.

I like the style but they weren't comfortable

I feel like the only person to ever give this shoe a bad review. However, although I love the look of this shoe and really wish it was comfortable, it truly wasn't. I ordered 2 sizes because I was unsure which would fit and they both hurt in the same place. It hurt so much that I knew this unfortunately wasn't for me.

Overall I really like these shoes. But the toe box felt a little narrow and the insole left everything but the center of my foot feeling a bit unsupported. I may try a half size larger in hopes that it is a little wider.

They're cute. However, I've worn a 40 in J Seibel shoes forever. These are too short! I'll return them and try next larger size.

Josef Seibels have always been my go-to shoes, so I was very surprised that the toe bed on these size 38 shoes was so shallow that the nail on my big toe was visibly poking up the soft leather, especially since that part of my foot is relatively thin (I don’t mean narrow). The jeans color is great, but the toe is very rounded, so not particularly flattering. I am returning them and will get another pair of Cole-Haan driving Mocs, which in a size 7B have been a dream to wear and also look good on because the toe is not so rounded.

I was excited to order these based on the other reviews, but, unfortunately, these shoes were just too odd a fit for me. They felt large in the heel and too small in the toe. I couldn't play with sizes because, at an 11, I'm already in the biggest size available. Could not make these work; had to send them back.
