Very comfortable, except for the toe box being too narrow. Had to return. This would be a perfect shoe, if it was available in wide.

Not worth the price. The heels have a ton of support but the toes feel paper thin. After about 20 minutes of running my feet start to get sore. I've been wearing Asics for over 16 years and the last few pairs have seemed off to me. Considering trying other brands at this point. It's a unique, good looking shoe, but feels like the same comfort I could have gotten in a shoe for half the price.

I am recovery from plantar fasciitis and got a pair of these because of the gel cushioning. So far I have put 50 miles on them and they are very comfortable. The uppers are great because they are one piece and flex with your foot. I am a long time Asics runner but I also have some Hoka One's and Adidas Spring Blades.
I'd also recommend:
I like Adidas Prime Knit...if you can find them.

This is my initial feedback since I've had these about week. Very comfortable. I have a lot of soreness in my feet when I wake up in the mornings or stand a long time. These feel great when standing, running, etc. I recommend and feel the size is spot on.

My son runs track & cross country and it's important to keep his feet in quality shoes so he stays healthy enough to run at his potential. He loves these shoes for every day wear.

Excellent feel and follow through right out of the box! I run 20 to 30 miles a week and I weigh 200 lbs. My previous shoe was the latest incarnation of the Nike Air Max. I feel I get more plushness out of the Quantams.

I've been buying Asics shoes for close to 20 years. Their GEL midsole material is, in my opinion, superior to anything else out there. I got these to have Asics shoes with a uniform-suitable appearance, as opposed to just another pair of tactical boots. I knew they would feel good but I didn't expect them to feel this good. These shoes are almost orgasmic. The uppers enclose my feet perfectly, with contact at every square centimeter. The GEL midsole provides its usual balance of cushion and stability but with these, I noticed a polymer insert that runs through the entire midsole that probably adds to the stability somehow. Whatever it is, I like it. A lot. I don't write a lot of reviews (almost never) but I couldn't pass this up. A big, obnoxious five-star recommendation here, guys.

Work in retail. Walk 7-10 miles per day, but rarely run. Have very flat feet. Most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! Tops are not very durable, lasting approx 8mos, and are not warm in winter. Buying pair #2 because of comfort and style.

Gel sole has a strange ridge or split that flexes differently from the rest of it when you walk/run. Because of this there's a distinct foot sensation there that's noticeable and could be annoying (it was for me). I've felt the same thing on each ASICS GEL soled shoe.

I'm approaching 50 and in the 15-20 mi/week range. I have been running in Gel-Nimbus for the last several years. The design of the Nimbus 17 changed and was no longer a good fit for me so I tried these. The sole is very cushy with good support (I'm a mid-sole striker). The top fabric is different - not the same construction as other running shoes but comfortable and breathes well. Feels slightly heavier than the Nimbus, but not by much. Overall, I like these kicks and figure I'll have no issues for the 350 or so miles I plan to put on them.

These are the worst shoes ever and I have tons of Asics Cumulus, Nimbus and Kayanos. The shoes had an unattached feeling from the foot, have a tendency to shift inside the shoe, which was hard to anticipate the ground strike, I had foot pain for a few days. These are not recommended and I suggest not to buy them.

I hate these shoes! Two runs thus far and two of the most horrible runs I've had in a long time. The shies are weighted strange. It feels like you ran through a bunch of mud and it's stuck to the bottom of your shoes!
