I love these boots. I have a hard time finding the right combination of comfort and style. Did I mention comfort? I need good arch support, a wide toe box and resilient sole and insole. This boot fit the bill entirely. I love Clarks' sandals, also, as long as they are on the wave platform.

Comfortable enough for this elementary school teacher to wear all day. They also keep my feet warm at recess. I am very happy with my purchase.

These are the perfect boots! I ordered wide to accommodate my bunion - that is perfect. The leather is soft and will mold to your feet - that is perfect. They are easy to get on with the back zipper. They are great with jeans or a long skirt. The first day I received them I worn them all day without any foot pain. I do not even need my orthotics in then!

Perfect boot! Fit is excellent, especially for someone like me with high arches. I wasn't sure how the back zipper would feel, but it's effortless to use. Excellent quality leather and workmanship, and no problem in the rain. Highly recommended!

I have wide feet, often develop corns, wear hard ortho inserts and after three weeks these boots are working out pretty well. I normally wear an 8½W but that was too big. I returned for an 8W and they are great with my inserts, but only giving four stars because I did have to put a memory foam insert at the ball of my foot as they were a tad hard on the bottom. I wear them 10-12 hours per day in an office setting and out shopping. No foot or knee pain like I had with some others I tried. Style wise they are on the plain and simple side but that is ok with me for work. I have not had any issues with the zippers or with them cutting into my leg while driving like some reviewers reported. They are soft and warm, but not too hot for indoors. My only true style complaint is that the brown one has a black sole and I like my boots to be all one color but that might just be me.

I am a 12 medium and I bought these boots because I broke the smallest toe on my right foot and need something flat and with a roomy toe box. I am a fan of Clarks shoes, but I do buy them with caution because I find they either work or they do not, meaning they either fit like they were made for me or they are too narrow. My review for these boots is mixed because the footbed is perfect for what I need, roomy and comfortable, but the ankle shaft is very stiff around the top, even after wearing them a few times. It can be very uncomfortable when driving, as there is no give in the leather and it both prevents the ankle from flexing enough, and cuts into the back of my leg. Though I do have a larger calf, the circumference of the shaft is fine, but maybe someone with a smaller frame wouldn't experience this as much; hard to tell. I offset the stiffness by lowering the zipper a bit. And when walking, it is fine. Given that the roomy toe box is really helping while my toe heals, I can live with the shaft issue but if I had bought these purely for fashion I would probably have looked around a bit more. Or, if they were shoes rather than boots, they would be completely perfect. I am rating them four stars due to above, and I normally would not pick flat boots so style gets a four as well, but they are very nicely made.

This is the first review I have ever left online. That is how awesome these shoes are. My work - in the classroom, working at theaters, in retail - requires a whole lot of walking and standing. I developed a bunionette (ouchie!) on the outside of both pinkie toes after wearing a pair of evil Danskos. This made my feet wider than before, not to mention gave me aches and pains when a shoe rubbed against it. Now I have to buy wides, and it has been a struggle to find a great pair of boots. I have been wearing old broken in shoes that are about a year over their past due date simply because I could not find another pair of shoes that do not make my feet ache. I have bought and returned at least 20 pairs of shoes over the last year and a half, trying to find the right fit! But these babies? Fit right out of the box. I could not believe it. They did not rub or chafe or pinch or squeeze. I wore them to work (right out of the box) for eight hours, and the only complaint I have is that the top part of the booty is not quite as flexible as the toe, so my calves are a bit sore. I am sure that they will stretch out. One note - I usually wear an 8, but I had to size down to a 7½ with the wides. Still, these are perfect. They looked a little cartoonish out of the box because they do not have anything breaking up the leather (an erroneous buckle or zipper, ha ha) but the ruching saves them. I am ok with having a more streamlined look - it is still worth it for the comfort.

These boots are very comfortable, sturdy and I feel secure wearing them on rainy sidewalks. They were comfortable to wear right out of the box. They are not fancy style wise, though I like the leather and styling. They keep my feet comfortable, dry and happy. To help: I have flat arches, bunions.

These ankle boots are awesome! I pulled them out of the box, put them on and they fit like a glove! Nice amount of cushion, a roomy toe box and great arch support. Also very styling!

As with most Clarks, comfort is guaranteed. I did have my concerns as the top ankle portion was stiff but, within a few hours of wearing, it has already softened. I will caution that there is not much tread on the sole so icy patches are a challenge.

I bought these for my wife as a present. Overall she thought the fit was pretty good with just a little extra room in the heel. But I am returning because she didn't care for the style.

Stylish and comfortable. I have a tender big toe and these are first pair of boots that I can wear comfortably.

This is a very comfortable walking boot and can even be worn with office wear. The rounded style toe makes it comfortable but not very dressy. If I could find a similar boot but with a more pointed (but not pointy) toe, it would be perfect.

My feet love this shoe, which I ordered in a wide width. My eyes, however, not as much. The shoe's upper is a little loose and clumsy, but the foot bed and lower fit so well (especially compared to the other five pairs of wide width booties from various brands I ordered from Zappos for comparison -- love the return policy!) that I kept these. My feet will be healthy and happy, and, for winter walking about shoes, I am okay that they are not as sleek as I would prefer.

I bought these to replace a worn-out pair of black booties (also by Clarks). They were comfortable to put on and walk around in. But these booties have a fatal flaw - for some reason the way the shoe fit my foot, plus the back heel zipper placement, meant that the zippers wouldn't stay up! I went for a short walk in them and had to stop every few hundred yards to zip my boots back up! My old pair of Clarks booties have zippers on the side of the boot, and I never had this problem with those. I do have a wider foot/ankle/calf, so maybe that's what made it more likely for the zipper to work its way down. In any case, these are going back.
