Great looking, solid shoe, expensive (for me) but so worth every penny, and since I can replace the heel and the sole when they wear out, I'm not afraid to wear the shoe. But they feel like they won't wear out for quite a while. Very handsome. Comes in widths, so the fit is right. This is my go-to shoe for everything. I got the waterproof black, which is really versatile. If I could only own one shoe, this would be it. Stylish but not precious--you feel confident in the look, it's masculine, and it reads dressy with a sport coat yet casual with jeans. Once in a while you buy something that you're 100% satisfied with, and this is one of those times. No wonder this shoe is often out of stock.

I bought them as a gift for my husband for Christmas. These are great shoes! He loves them. Service from Zappos was fast ! The ankles need to break in!

I'll start with three words: Quality, Craftsmanship, and Style. Cole Haan nailed all three with the Cranston Chukka (black). You can simply feel the quality in this shoe from the leather upper to the bottom of the sole, this shoe is well made. Attention to detail is what makes a shoe special in my opinion and the details are well taken care of here. The sole is a combination of rubber and leather that looks amazing and feels great. The leather upper has a durable, high quality feel that is also advertised to be waterproof. Even the patterned laces add a nice accent to the shoe (they come with two pairs of laces, patterned and solid). Overall, this is a great looking shoe. As a person with "well endowed feet" I sometimes hate my feet because they make nice shoes look like boats. Not in this case! The proportions of this shoe, even in size 16M, are excellent and while there's no getting around the size, they look very nice on my foot. Hats off to Cole Haan for making such an excellent product in extended sizes. I am planning to upgrade my entire work/dress show collection as Cole Haas has something for every occasion! I bought these for my husband as he likes Cole Haans. He absolutely loves them - they look great , fit perfectly, and are stylish with pants or jeans. I love the bottoms for winter wear. Great-looking shoe/boot.

These are excellent! Dressy enough to wear with a suit, casual enough to wear with jeans. They're built very well and the break-in time was minimal. Highly recommended.

These run large so order a half to a full size smaller. Otherwise they are great shoes and they look good with jeans or dress pants. I also ordered them in gray which is a nice steel color.
