The lenses are extraordinary. The Maui HT lenses live up to the description given on Zappos. Colors are bright and crisp. There is no glare whatsoever. And the slightly mirrored lenses, which provide high levels of light transmission are more attractive when you see them in person. I was wearing these on my way home from work a few days ago, and the sun was shining directly into my peripheral vision, which was not shielded by the lenses or frames. Normally, I'd push the sun-visor over to the side to help block the sun's glare, but I didn't have to. I'm not sure if it's the shape of my face, the curvature of the lenses, the frame design, or a combo of those variables that diffuse that light, but it continues to be a non issue.....I like everything about these glasses. The frames are ultra light, and very comfortable. I forget I'm wearing them at times. Whether I'm in the truck, on a hike, or on the lake, I'll be wearing these.
