I SOOOO wanted this boot to work out. It's gorgeous. HOWEVER....ladies, the calf circumference in this boot is NOT, I repeat, NOT 15inches. Or even 14 inches. I measured the widest part of my calf to be 14.5". I am pretty sure the "circumference" measurement listed is for the very top edge of the boot...not where the widest part of our calves are. The widest part is lower. Not just below the knee, but more in the middle part of your leg. I am an average height/weight gal. Size 8, wear mediums. Size 8 in shoe size. I played a lot of sports, but that's in my past so my calf is not super super large. Just average. I COULD NOT ZIP THIS BOOT UP HALF WAY. Seriously. I know everyone says "Frye's need to stretch out". There's no amount of 'breaking in' or stretching of the leather that could ever happen to get these boots to zip. Where it hit the widest part of my calf, it was not 15" or 14". More like 13" circumference. So if you think that if it says 14" or 15" circumference, that's at the top edge, not where your calf is largest. I say this because this was a complete waste of my time/money to even TRY these boots. And I got my hopes up so high because the reviews were good about the shoe part and the toe part looked nice and rounded like I need. SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED. If you have an average to wide calf, do NOT go with this boot. You will only be sad and heading to the UPS store to return them. They look so cool. But they do not look cool zipped up halfway. Zappos--get your measurements right. Please.

Right out of the box the left boot was a little tight so I wore them around the house for 2 days with thick socks & they stretched out perfectly!I Now they are as comfortable as house slippers. I treated mine with Frye cream protectant which worked nicely so far in the snow & a little rain. No more cold feet for me in the winter! These boots are awesome!

Absolutely in love with these boots! This is my 3rd pair of Frey boots and once again I am blow away by the quality. I initially wanted these as my new motorcycle boots, but there too nice! Since I have a few other Fyres at home, I knew to order a half size down. Even with the lines footbed, these fit perfectly.

These are comfortable boots, true to size, the buckles adjust on the outside like the video says but doesn't loosen the calves because it's sewn underneath. Also another reviewer said these are shearling lined. Not so, this is a man made fabric. Get the Valerie shearling lined OTK if you want the warmer version. These are great if you live in the south but up north, go for the OTK.

These are absolutely my favorite boots. They are so comfortable and warm. They look great with tucked in jeans, leggings or skirts. They are worth the cash.

I completely love these boots! I bought the brown color size 9.5 and they fit perfect! The material inside is so soft it feels like I'm walking with my slippers. They are true to size and the quality as always with Frye boots, excellent! They look beautiful with jeans, leggings and casual dresses. Recommended for cold weather.

LOVE! These boots are like wearing a pair of Uggs! They are shearling lined inside and are some comfy! I've worn them everyday since I got them! Also, love that the belting starts at the bottom of the boot up, rather than the similar Frye where the belting starts about 3" from the bottom.

Loved the look and feel of this boot....BUT way too small. I sure wish they made a 12, I'd order it in a heartbeat.

I absolutely love these boots. They were comfortable right out of the box. I have wide feet, so it took a little breaking in time, but they are not uncomfortable. I had Frye boots when I was young and loved them. These are well worth the investment and will last a lifetime with good care.
