Love these. This is my third pair and I hope they keep making them. Fit my feet perfectly and it’s like an old friend.

The heal slipped.

Fit was perfect. This is the 3rd pair of these boots that I've owned. The only gripe I have is that they've changed the upper eyelets with the most recent re-design - and not for the better. My previous pairs had traditional webbing eyelets for the lower six and hook eyelets (the kind you don't have to thread) for the upper 6. This pair has webbing & modified D-ring (you have to thread all 12) & as a result I can't get the boot over my arch tight enough without having the boot too tight at my ankle. They're still very comfortable.

My standard is Salomon's boots. They have a perfect "Toebox" that gives you ample space to wiggle them. I had to order a size Larger. I wear 9 D (Medium) and yours was a little too tight, therefore a ordered a 9.5 D (Medium)instead. Hopefully it will work.

I hate giving and sense of a negative review just because my feet are a little weird. I vary between a normal and wide width .. and these were just a tad bit tight in the toe box ... not a lot tight, just a touch. I was thinking about just dealing with it and see if my if my foot and new Zephyrs got a long ... but Id hate to waste that money. Only if they came in wide! Nice looking boot though ... sure wish they had a wide.

Looks great. Feels great. Fits snug so you don't need to worry too much about your ankles.

The fit ans size were correct. I returned these Lowa's for one reason. All my other Lowa boots are quick and easy to put on for one reason - the last 3 rows of things? that you lace up are not holes, they are open where you can just wrap the lace around them quickly. On these boots they were closed and have to be threaded thru the holes - taking more time than I want to take in lacing up my boots. If you lace them up prior to donning them, it makes it hard to get your foot into the boot. Otherwise they're great boots.

Size 14 M. Both shoes squeezed the side of my small toe, i felt like I would get a blister walking inside the house. The length seemed perfect but the shoe has no give at the outside of the toe, which is probably great for narrow feet. I never have to order Wide shoes, but hopefully, I can find a 14W in this boot.

I bought a pair of Zephyrs a few years ago and liked them except they were a bit too short (something I didn't realize until I wore them for a while). I'm looking for another pair of lightweight, breathable hiking books so I thought I would try the Zephyr one size up. (Note that the only apparent difference between the Zephyr and the Zephyr TF are the closed loops in the TF, not the rapid lacing open loops.) Here are a few things people should know about these boots (some might be positives for you, some negatives). The Zephyr boot has changed, so if you liked an old pair and are looking to replace them, be aware the new ones are noticeably different despite the same name. They appear still to be well made, maybe even more solid than the old model, with good ankle support, but the new ones felt higher off the ground and clunkier. They also have a footbed with no cushioning at all, especially noticeable in the heel. Walking in them is like walking barefoot on a concrete floor. I tried replacing the provided footbed with a cushier one, but then the front of the boot did not fit well (but this might work for you). At the very least, thick socks with lots of cushioning is a must. My impression is that LOWA makes solid, well made boots, and I was sorry I could not make these Zephyrs work for me, but perhaps they will fit your needs and your feet better than mine.

I wear a size 8.5 wide mens boot so I ordered a size 9 mens, they do not make this boot in wide. I ended up returning them as they were too small and too narrow for my foot. I am a small person, but I guess I have wide feet. I was trying to replace my 5.11 Tactical XRPT Desert boots, but after putting the two on I am going to stick with the 5.11's they are just so comfortable. The Lowa's were very tight and very snug around the toe. I supposed I could have "gotten used to them", but for $210 I should not have to "get used to them". I am afraid I will not be buying any brand of these boots as they do not make them in wide.

These boots are a big joke, they are way too stiff, sole fills like it’s made from hard plastic, they run small and are too narrow. First time buying from Lowa and probably the last. I don’t recommend them.
