I ordered and tried out 4 different styles of black Alegria closed toe shoes. Alegria and Mephisto seem to be the only brands with the right arch support for my feet so that they consistently keep my plantar fasciitis and heel spurs at bay. Since I prefer open heels, all the styles but one were slides. This pair of Sevilles was the keeper and my new go-to. The throat (part that comes up highest on my foot, whatever it's called) is padded so when I slide my foot into it, I barely feel anything touching. Toe box is large so I can wear socks and spread my toes. I also tried the Classic but it came up higher on my foot (where foot flexes the most during a stride), wasn't padded, and had an even higher and wider toe box which I didn't need. In fact the Classic made my feet look huge (size 41) where the Seville made them look smaller. Now that I've found some comfy "Winter" shoes, other than my usual Florida sandals, I'm going back for another pair.

This might be my favorite pair of Algeria shoes!! I’ve had at least 10 pair. I’m a nurse and never have sore feet in these shoes. I have Morton’s neuroma and they don’t cause any irritation. Definitely recommend if you are on your feet a lot and especially if you have a wide forefoot.

Love my Alegria Seville's for work. This is my 3rd pair! I find them to be true to size (unlike Alegria's with back on them which run small). They have great arch support and are the most comfortable with my plantar fasciitis. I love that I can replace the footbed when needed as well, extending the life of these shoes.

This show will only work if you have a really flat instep and narrower feet. Really cute, though, and nice quality.

I’ve worn so many pairs of Algeria’s over the last several years, and they have all been hits. So comfortable, and how they make clunky into cute is just amazing. I get so many compliments. One thing, though, is that they make a crunchy squeak when you walk. My Niece taught me how to cure this: put a fresh dryer sheet between the bottom of the shoe and the removable insole. This quiets things right down. Hope this tip helps someone else. This new pair of clogs is awesome! Comfortable from day One! Love that you can wear the strap behind the heel or not.

For me, this shoe gave me a comfortable sole and better than average arch support. I felt more arch support in the Seville verses the Classic Pro as I ordered them both and compared.

Love, love, love the clogs . They are better in person than in the picture. I am constantly receiving compliments on these clogs. They are definitely patent leather and nice and shiny. They are just beautiful!! For my hospital job I wear a lot of gray and black and they are just beautiful with those colors. I am a nurse and love Alegrias.

I'm a nurse so I've seen my colleges wear this type of shoe for years. I developed a foot problem and my doctor recommended them to decrease the bend in my toes when I walk. A little higher arch would be nice for me but they have been excellent shoes once broken in. They are leather and will conform to your foot.

I LOVE these colorful, comfortable clogs!!! They have a nice instep shape for some support and they are very sturdy. I normally am between a 9.5 and a 10 and I ordered 9.5 which fit fine. I have a wider foot and they are just a tad snug but with wear they will be perfect! :)

I know to say these are a perfect and comfortable fit immediately is just what I expected. I underwent a 7 level spinal fusion a few years back and Alegria is the only show that puts my back in perfect alignment. I can walk forever in them and own 6 pair including sandals. I only gave it a 4 for style because I would like something a little less boxy, but am willing to forfeit style for comfort!

The fit and size of these are perfect, they are extremely comfortable to wear all day, and of you use the strap behind your heel instead of the top of the shoe, it is very easy to put on and is also comfortable. Everyone comments on the design and asks me where I got them! I am very happy with these and will always order this style.

I couldn’t thank you enough for carrying these awesome clogs ! Not only are they the most comfortable shoes I own, I have to stop myself from wearing them daily ! Lol My new “go to” shoes are Allegria, although, admittedly I’ll have to SAVE for them in future ...Thank you, Zappo’s for excellent services both in-store and shipping! Oops, gotta scoot, another pair arrived to try on! P.S. these fit my wide foot and smaller heel, the support inside is just awesome. I do have arthritis in my feet so bigger bones and tender feet held comfortably is extremely important to this senior !

Love my Alegria shoes! After years of walking and running on concrete floors, my feet feel like they're trashed. After decades of wearing Clarks, I switched to Alegria. They're a better quality shoe, and much more comfortable for me.

My fourth pair of Alegrias, the Seville is my favorite, have worn them for years. Wide toe box, great support, comfortable all day, literally. I've even bought replacement insoles because the outside never wears out.

Actually have not taken these shoes off. I am wearing them as slippers, wore to work and dont think I will take them off. I have side effects from bunion and toe surgery an over high arch, and my gait is off. These are correcting the gait issue and I have zero pain.

I love these shoes. They feel great with arch and width. The sizing was right on. Felt true to size. I am so glad I got these. May be an older style but, it goes with everything. I am not a nurse but, love the shoes. I am more worried about how my foot feels at the end of the day when I have been out then trying to impress this person or that person.

These are the most cute of the styles of Alegria shoes that I tried. They run small so a size 36 rather than a 35 fit. I'm usually a 6 but sometimes a 5.5. I like the option of having the strap around my heel. These clogs relieve my plantar fascia pain. I wear them so much that I bought the replacement inserts too.

LOVE these clogs! Size is perfect, comfort is wonderful (I unexpectedly took my dog for a long walk, and shoes and feet held up wonderfully), and I've had so many positive comments on the fun design. Thanks Zappos!

I love, love, love these shoes. I got these shoes in the ric rack. These are so comfortable. When they took my order over at Zappos they asked if I was a nurse. I am not a nurse just want really comfortable shoes. As all of my Alegria shoes they passed the test. Thank you Zappos for excellent customer service.

I love these shoes! I wanted a pair of clogs I could wear around the house and these are wonderful. I wear a size 10 and ordered a 40, feeling I might have to return them and I did. The right shoe was too tight and I knew I couldn't wear socks with them. So, after returning them, I ordered a size 41 and they are perfect. They are fine with a lightweight sock so I am wondering how they will be with a wool sock in the winter but, by that time, they might be a little more stretched out. Not only do they feel good, but they look great and would be fine to wear anytime and anywhere. I live where it's really wet a lot of the time so I wear other shoes or boots when I'm out walking. But, at home, these reign supreme!

This is a very pretty shoe.I wanted a shoe to wear often as I have arthritis in my one big toe and need to keep it still. I normally wear size 8 but seemed my foot was too close to the back of the shoe and it felt weird. I'm exchanging for larger size.

I have at least 8 pair of Allegria shoes. It’s the only brand I can wear due to plantar fasciitis and the need for good arch support. This is the first and only pair I’ve ever had to return. I have a pair of Allegria clogs (Classics) in red that are at least 5 years old and they fit perfectly. Thought I’d get these in black as a transition from boots to sandal season. These are way too wide. I normally wear a 9.5 and order the size 40 medium width which fits me perfectly. Don’t know why these feel so wide (especially across the top) in comparison to my other clogs and sandals. I returned and exchanged for a pair of the cutout classics. Hopefully those will be ok. I sure hope Allegria has not tampered with their width/sizing.

This shoe, the Alegria Seville, is the most comfortable clog I have ever bought though my other clogs are great too. I love the pattern on the front of the shoe (flowers in fall colors with soft material) which will be perfect for the upcoming Autumn. I'd recommend these to anyone especially those with feet that hurt often or simply those needing a wider shoe. Though I got the regular width, I find them perfect without needing to order a wide. These shoes are pure relief for my feet. Lots of support for both the arch and the forefoot. And they look good too.

Since this is one of my favorite shoe brands, I fully expected it to fit as my other Alegria shoes do, and it did. This clog style moves comfortably on the rocker sole which helps tremendously if you have any leg/hip/knee/neurological issues. I prefer this style since the arch is comfortable and stays on the foot without slippage. The adjustable band can be worn at heel level if you want to switch its orientation from the top arch position to further secure your foot in the shoe. I purchased the oiled black leather version. It's quite plain, but exactly what I was looking for, for its versatility wearing with numerous outfits. Alegria is one of my most favorite shoe brands due to the variety of styles, colors, patterns across the many styles offered. There is a reason why so many people who work standing for many, many hours each day choose this shoe brand. They're comfortable! The black oiled version "perked up" a bit with a bit of shoe shine treatment which is what I was looking for, so now I am entirely pleased with this purchase.
