Love the boots, color and style. They are a bit tight in the width. I have medium with feet and don't usually have a width problem, but they're leather and they should stretch out to become my fave.

First, LOVE the Crave boot, these are my third pair. This particular pair feels wider, the size number is the same, but a tad bit bigger feeling. I went yesterday and bought some insoles to support my arch, as this particular pair, I could feel a more significant gap on my high arch with not much if any support, and it did help. I love the look of the boots and did get compliments, but don't feel that it is the same typical size (37) fits in this shoe.

I just ordered these in Stone. The color is quite a bit different than as shown on the website…they read warmer in the online photos and are much lighter colored in real life (perhaps they should be called Cream or Putty). Haven’t decided yet if I’ll keep them yet - they are comfortable- but the color is not as expected.

I've. been searching and searching and searching--and these were not the answer despite the positive reviews. The leather felt flimsy and there is not traction on the heal. Why??? So weird. Disappointed.

I picked my shoe size based on Zappos' recommendation from my other brands of shoes. With the removable insole in, the shoe was extremely tight against the top of my foot. Loosening the laces didn't do anything to help because the tight part isn't attached to the tongue. Once I learned you could remove the insole, it fit perfectly. I'm fine with not wearing the insole since it wasn't that comfortable anyway. Super cute boots.

This is an update to my original review. A buyer was critical of the boots’ durability but that buyer stated she was a sculpturer. That work is about the same as building construction and I believe her mistake was in thinking Crave is a work boot. It is not! It is a fashion boot styled to look a work boot. It will not withstand what a Timberland or a Red Wing boot will, as it is not made for heavy duty, hard conditions. It looks great, but it’s made for walking down a street or a meadow, not navigating building sites!

Got the Teal - wow beautiful! Wish they had a bit more arch - foot couldn't 'settle in' to foot bed. Would love to keep them - but have to exchange for more comfort.

Unfortunately, I had to return these awesome boots, because the right boot rubbed the side of my foot. I normally don't have to wear a wide, perhaps, it is because my foot was sliding, not sure. But all in all, beautiful boots.

I loved these boots. They weren't quite the bordeaux I imagined - more brown or purple depending on the light. However, I was disappointed in the size. I'm a 10.5 and bought the 42 (11-11.5) expecting a bit of room for a thick sock. In no socks my toes touched the end. There is no 43, too bad. I hope it wasn't just a random pair that was too small.

Love the style and color (Bordeaux). I have wide feet with high arches and bunions, but the medium width worked great. Love the zipper paired with laces. My heel moves around a bit, but I’ll try a thicker sock. I tried the tall Crave style, but liked this height better. It hits me in my lower calf, which is more flattering on short legs with muscular calves.

I ordered the Crave in teal size 39. I loved the style and fit except for one thing - they slip against my heel when I walk. I'm sending them back because I really wanted a pair of stylish boots that I could walk around all day in and I fear that these will leave my heels blistered and I don't want to have to apply bandages every time I wear a pair of boots. One note - the teal appears more of a forest green to me, but it's still a non-standard neutral that could be worn with many colors.

Loved the look of these boots, unfortunately I have a narrow heel and these boots do not. My feet kept sliding when I walked in them, so sadly I need to return.

I wanted to love these boots but for several reasons am sending them back. They are super nice looking and quite well-made. I ordered the Camel color which is really a beautiful color. But they are a bit heavy and "clunky" on the foot feeling a lot like an army boot. If that is what you are looking for you might well love them. I also found they felt tight across the top of my foot where there is a band of stitching going right across the forefoot. I wear a size women's 8 and ordered a 39 which I would say was a good fit. My biggest complaint again is how heavy they felt. I ended up ordering the Pikolinos Le Mans in the Olmo Brandy and am in love with that boot which is about half the weight listed by Zappos - and have a somewhat more feminine look to them than these Taos.

These are really cute and a beautiful color. They are way too small and narrow. I am normally a 41, but the 42 AND 43 were too small and narrow.

These were REALLY comfortable, and the laces adjusted to my wide feet and wide calves. But the stitching across toe gave me kind of a clown vibe. The stitching visually cut off the toe from the rest of the boot, which works okay if your legs are willowy, but mine are not. So warm, so comfortable, so sad to return them.

This boot is very narrow even in Wide. It also runs about a half size short. I can’t attest to comfort or arch support since my foot didn’t really fit in it but the up-turn at the toes wasn’t very comfortable. It is a very attractive boot and seems to be very good quality.

I ordered this boot in wide but it was not nearly wide enough for my foot. The length seemed a little long- I could have gone down 1/2 size if the toe box was wide enough for my foot. Sometimes I can size up to accommodate for width but this one would have been way too long and still not wide enough.

I’m still on the fence about these boots. They are not as comfortable as I expected they are actually a little clunky. This is my first pair of shoes by Taos and they are expensive but qualify leather and well made. Just not as comfortable as I would like.

Too small (short). As it was the biggest size they carried, I can't even size up. When will shoemakers realize there are lots of tall women with longer feet? Otherwise, felt like they would have been very comfortable to walk in even with the heel, and warm.

I am so sad that these beautiful boots were way smaller then what they are marked. I will have to return them.

Love the boots except they are a full size short. I ordered the 43 (12-12 1/2) and they are the exact same size the old Clarks Un-looped shoes I have in size 11 Narrow but still not gotten rid of yet. I judged these not only by my foot but I have pulled the insole of each to compare. The toe box is also a little narrow. Due to age my high arches have come down so I have had to move up to size 12 Narrow and have only Clarks to compare to so I can tell you these are no way a size 12. If they could make the boots the actual size they should be I would probably buy at least 4 pair. The leather is nice, insole is comfortable, but arch could be a little higher for me, and love the style just wish they would have fit. Sorry I have to return them. I have sent a note to Taos regarding the size and hope other ladies will so maybe they would correct their sizing.

I'm a size 9 with a need for a roomy toe box. I ordered up to size 40, but still WAY too small - felt like I was forcing my feet into size 8.5 shoes. Bogles my mind why Taos doesn't fix this obvious problem. Ordered the Golden Tan color and didn't like the darkened toe box on the leather treatment - made the boots look cheap.

these run SOOO small. I wear a size 10.5-11 so i ordered the 42 which the size guide says is between an 11-11.5. So bummed, the boots seem like really good quality with soft leather.
