I really wanted these to fit. They are very heavy , almost like a work boot . The laces were nice but the tongue was getting rumbled up. I never even put the second one on. Walking with this chunky heel did not help my gate. They clomp..or. at least the one I tried on did. I think once they were broken n the tongue might flatten out and stay put but I was looking for something easy to slip on. The boot itself is really nice. Beautifully made with nice leather. It's a lot of boot.

The fit was both too big and too small! The toe box was kind of wrinkled in a funny way like it was too roomy, but also a bit too narrow. Just an odd fit for me. The style is beautiful and the construction seems excellent so I’m sorry the fit was off for me & returned them.

Taos footwear never love my feet. I have wide feet and high arches. I bought the 9w and it didn’t work. Uncomfortable, and not wide enough. I didn’t love the brown shoelaces, although they sent black. Honestly they look quite old fashioned and not contemporary. they are frumpy and not the most comfortable.

Weird bump under ball of foot. This is my third pair - I love these boots. But the strange bump on the footbed was immediately uncomfortable. Had to return.

I didn’t really try these on for long to assess for comfort and fit because I saw immediately that the wine color was really very purple, which is not what I wanted. I returned immediately.

Didn't like the leather

Leather was too still so it hurt my shin.

Beautiful shoes - I admit that I have a hard to fit foot - high arch/instep, bunion, wider across the toe square foot, yet slim heel. When I purchased this shoe it did not come in half sizes, and the insoles are not hitting in the right place. The shoe feels a bit too big and wide in the wrong places. My feet just ache after a day in these shoes. I switched out the insoles for Powerstep inserts, which improved the issue a bit. Expensive solution. After a couple of years, the brown is wearing off the heels, otherwise the shoes still look great.

I have really wide feet. A Birkenstock regular/wide fits me perfectly. This wide was not wide enough. Cute boots though.

The top mid-toe was tight on my feet.

The boot is nice to look at. And the materials appear to be good quality. It felt overall tight on my foot and I found the sole felt very hard and stiff. It was as comfortable as I thought it would be from the online reviews

Normally a women's 10, ordered the 41. The toe box was too narrow while my heels slipped when I took steps. Strange fit. Super cute style and they seem well made, so was disappointed these didn't work out.

Super cute, but runs small. They don't carry a 43, so I couldn't size up.

I'm looking for a pair of year round boots. These are not listed as faux fur lined, but they are. Thought the leather seemed a smidge cheap for the price.

Cute, but very small. A 40 in every other brand, and even the Taos sneakers I have, is somewhere between just right and a little big for me. These were far too small and very narrow. I also walk a lot, and the sole doesn't seem comfy. Back they go.

The boot is attractive but very narrow. Taos wide typically fits me perfectly, and I'm sometimes fine with other brands' medium width, but these were too tight in the toebox and on the sides of my feet. The leather and the shoe itself are also quite stiff--I can't see walking in these at all. I wanted to love them, but back they go.

the material is very soft, but it did not look right on my feet. It bunched on the inside of my feet. Have to return them.

Unfortunately these did not work for me. I wouldn't say they are a horrible shoe, they were a bit narrow for me and the toe box was super tight. I also felt they would need a fair amount of work to break in. I felt some pressure on my ankle from the tongue area. I will say they are SUPER cute and the color was perfect. They also have very good arch support. If you don't need a sufficient amount of toe room, these would probably work.

These were not for me. Leather was stiff and uncomfortable. I would say they run 1/2 size small. I returned.

Cute boot. I normally wear a 9.5W in this brand. I understand these are marked 9-9.5, but they are really a 9. Returning these and hoping the 10-10.5 will fit, hoping they will actually be a wide as well as the 9s didn't feel wide at all.

Loved the look of these boots. Well made. But narrow, so back they go……

This is a beautiful bootie - well made, elegant looking, great color. I ordered it in a size 42 which is supposed to be a U.S. size 11 - 11.5. It was about a size 10. The width was narrow, too. Taos is very inconsistent with their sizes. I own 4 or 5 pairs of their sneakers - all are very comfortable with good arch support. Why their boots would fit so much smaller is a mystery. If you can get these in a size bigger and the width will work for you, I'd bet you'd be very happy with them. They are lovely booties and would be as great with jeans as with dresses.

Fit was comfortable, but doesn't really feel like a wide width. The style is nice, but wish the color was darker, or if the darker colors had been in stock. Seems like they would scuff easily. They're nice, but I'm going to have to return them.

A little too rugged looking for me. If stitching had been black on black, and there wasn't the side buckle, I would have liked them... but they would have been a totally different boot. Lol. The 11/11.5 felt small to me... it's a 41, and normally I take a 42.
