I loved the look of these and after trying so many other boots I decided to give these a go. I went up a size after reading all the reviews and I do not regret that. I think they would be too wide at a size larger if they did not have laces however being able to tighten them is helpful. I have RA and have to have great arch support. I also need decent insoles providing cushion throughout. These were perfect. I put them on and was able to wear them for a 12 hour day. It is always a huge bonus if the insole can be removed which it can. I love these and they are so cute. I will buy more pairs in different colors.

These are gorgeous. I'm in love with blue leather right now, and these are obviously high-quality boots. I got a compliment on them right away from an old punk rocker, which makes me think they're sufficiently edgy for my look. ;) I'm not sure if I'm going to keep them, though. I am a consistent size 7.5, so I first ordered the 38, but I realized my feet were slipping around too much, so ordered the 37 in a hurry. The 37 fits well. But, these are stiff shoes. The leather is quality, and thick (the suede part is a little softer and thinner). They are lined with a dreamy, kind of thin velvet material. The soles have very little flexibility. I have a couple of pairs of Earth ankle and mid-calf boots that I wear a lot, and they don't feel nearly as stiff as these do. But, I started wearing more barefoot-type shoes and moccasins a couple of years ago, so I lean towards more flexible shoes and I am probably more sensitive to this than a lot of people. I had been salivating over these for a long time before I purchased them, and they are very high-quality and I love the look. I think most people might not have issues with the comfort of these shoes, but they feel pretty stiff and restrictive to me. I think I will give in to temptation and keep them, to wear to work and going out some, but they will be more fashionable than functional for me. They will probably become a little more flexible with wear. ?

From the moment I put on these boots I was very pleased. They are so comfortable and sturdy.

I have to say that these boots are amazing! I’ve had my ink blue since 2016 & they’re still looking great! These really hold up. I really put them to the test last year when I participated in the wreath laying at Arlington national cemetery. It was raining non stop that day. My feet stayed dry. It does help to use quality waterproofing. I reapply every fall and I can say they carry me through the Colorado winters nicely. I usually wear thick wool socks along with my orthotics. I can walk all day in these and have never experienced any foot or back issues. I just ordered my second pair in Bordeaux! Ladies, we all deserve a great, stylish, comfortable boot. The Taos crave is definitely the right choice!

I love the style, the fit was perfect I’m normally 7 1/2. The gray is really a brown which is what I wanted and had read in a previous review. Very comfortable boot!

These boots are a miracle.

I am a standard 9.5 so I got the 40 and they fit perfect. I purchased the Bordeaux and I LOVE the color! Brown/Purple color mixture is perfect. I get lots of compliments and they are truly comfortable to wear all day. 2 days after having these amazing boots I ordered 2 more colors, Graphite & Grey, from another website. If things go as planned for Christmas, my husband will be getting me the Teal and my parents will be getting me the Blue Ink. Clearly I am in love with these boots.

These shoes are just amazing! I ended up getting the tall version, though, and might splurge and get these in a different color later. I thought I could get away with getting the Harley Davidson Jammie's instead, cheaper and I love the look. But after wearing them for half a day, forget about it. These are SO much more comfortable and the tall ones feel the same.

I love these boots! I wear them as often as I can because they are so comfortable. They are well-made, sturdy, and mold to your feet. I can walk for long stretches in them, and I have worn them on airplanes the last few times I have traveled. I am a size 7.5, and the size fits true. I think my friends are tired of seeing them on my feet. I'm bought the light tan color (which I love) but after a year of wearing them, I'm now going to order a pair in black!

Great fit for me. I have slightly wide forefeet and these accommodate them nicely with medium-thickness socks. They rub a little on the ankles, but only enough to be slightly annoying and that might be fixed with a lacing adjustment. The teal color (more green than blue) is unusual and that's my favorite thing about them. Style-wise, these have become my new favorite boots out of about 8 pairs! Materials/craftsmanship are quality. Highly recommend!

OMG, I so totally love these boots! My third pair (3rd color) arrived and I wore them the entire next day through meetings, real estate showings, travel... in total comfort. These are hands down the BEST BOOTS EVER!

These shoes are...amazing. SOOOO comfortable and my feet are extremely picky. The only thing is that they look a bit too much like a male military boot (in black at least), so I am going to go with the less comfortable, but cooler and more my style Harley Boot "Jammie". It's cheaper, too. But, even still, these boots feel so good that I am thinking of splurging and getting the red pair as well as the Harely boots!

I was on the fence about these boots and almost returned them. So glad I didn’t! They’re comfortable and pretty cool looking. They seem like they’ll last forever, too. Good purchase.

These shoes are so adorable & comfortable. I have excruciating plantar fasciitis & a painful heel problem so I'm hoping these will be ok. After wearing for a few hours, my foot felt ok. Unfortunately these are kind of pricey...

WOW!! Kept seeing these in my Facebook feed, but didn't bite because I had a pair of old Timberlands that were too similar. When the zipper on one of those finally went, I decided to make the purchase and do not regret it at all. I have worn them almost every day. Extremely comfortable straight out of the box, and as a teacher I am on my feet most of the day. They are expensive, but a quality product.

I absolutely love these boots! They are so comfortable from the get-go and cute to boot;-) I have other Taos boots just as comfortable and these didn’t disappoint!I do have bunions and this style just seems to fit.

Usually would not spend this much for a pair of shoes for myself, but I had bought a pair of Taos sandals over the summer which I really loved, and that gave me the confidence to take the leap. I originally purchased the gray and whne they arrived I was really unhappy, as they were more taupe, with a brown undertone. I sent them back and bought the black because i really liked the style. I've had them for about 2 weeks and l love them. The fit was comfortable from the very beginning. At the end of the day on my feet all day, my feet were tired the first few days I wore them, but the fatigue has lessened for sure. They are very comfy with lots of room in the boot and lots of room to lace the boot tightly. i love that they zip and you dont mess with the laces! Overall, very happy I splurged!

Fit perfect and as expected. Very comfortable and cute. I put them on and wore them all day with no issues. Comfort is a priority for me and these did not disappoint.

Wow! I love these boots. Comfortable right out of the box and they feel very supportive. I'm glad I stuck with my regular size 39 though many reviewers said they ran small. I got the black (non waterproof) and the leather feels supple and like it will give more as they are worn. I also ordered camel which I am returning - they felt a bit tighter. Also black just goes with everything. If you are looking for that one pair of boots for a weekend getaway to wear walking, dress up or down, look no further. These are my first pair of Taos and I'm impressed!

I love these boots! They're so stylish and I can have them on my finicky feet for hours without getting tired.

I am in between narrow and average width and boots are generally a challenge. I looked at these boots and actually ordered 2 others, returned both and finally bought these. They are exactly what I wanted, they are a little roomy for my somewhat narrow feet, but I can deal with that. The heel does not slip and I don't anticipate any problems with blisters. If you have been looking at these boots, just get them and try them. They are worth the cost. Well made, will work with skirts, dresses and pants. Comfortable.
