I ordered a wide, as I'd heard Taos runs narrow. They fit perfectly and are super-comfortable right out of the box. The red color is gorgeous and I got tons of compliments on them the first day I wore them.

Adorable!!! Love these boots. Originally accidentally ordered a 40, looking at the 9-9.5 rather than the 8-8.5 (actually 39). I have many Taos and I’m a perfect 39. Was able to get my size on Zappos! Thank you… color is rich, comfort is Taos exceptional! Happy Happy! Nice traction too!

I love these. Very rarely do I end up wearing the same pair of shoes daily, but these are what I reach for whenever I leave the house. Very comfortable and the gray is so versatile.

Love this boot! My mistake, ordered the 40 when I’m a true Taos 39 (somehow the 8-8.5 scared me). Color (stone) deep, rich - actually better than pic… anxiously awaiting arrival of 39!

I wear an 8 1/2 to a 9 depending on the shoe and the brand. I purchased the size 9. I think the 8 1/2 may have been a little bit too tight. I have enough room in the size 9 to wear a heavier sock if I want to. I wore them all day and they were comfortable no breaking in needed.

I really like these boots. I usually take a 7 or 37 so I got a 37 and they fit perfectly. It only took one or 2 wears to break in and not have them rub on my bunion. I got them for walking around downtown so I wouldn't have to wear comfortable sneakers. I used to wear heals all the time so my feet now need to be pampered in my later years. They are very cute and don't look clunky at all. Stylish! The brown is perfect. Maybe one day I'll buy in black as well.

I normally wear a 9-9.5, I had to return the 9-9.5W, they were too small. I ordered the 10-10.5W and they fit like a charm. Love these boots, they are my go to for this winter. i'm about to take them on a 5 day trip to NYC and doubt I'll wear anything else while there.

I have been wanting these boots for quite a few years. I kept trying to find a deal on them. Not happening, they're 250 bucks no matter where you look. Zappos had my size in the hard to find black. Worth. Every. Penny. I think they are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. They are very well made. Top quality leather and craftsmanship. Buy them, you won't be disappointed.

These are my all time favorite boots. Comfortable. Stylish. Durable. Look great with jeans, skirts, dress up or down.

Love the red! So comfortable right out of the box. Usually wear 9 and the 40 fit perfect and i have a slightly wide foot. These feel fantastic.

I was sent a medium rather than the wide width I ordered so I'm not sure about the fit on the boot but it is a nice boot.

I love these boots but they were too large. Had they fit, I would be wearing them now!

These boots are great! They are expensive but a good investment. I have very wide feet and most of the time I get cramps after extended walking but not with these boots. I got them in a wide. The insoles can be removed in case I need more room. I also love the way they look. Highly recommend!

These are very cute and so, so comfortable. I am a senior, and I have some foot issues, but these shoes with their great insoles are great….I love them. My usual size fits.

Super cute boot. Tried both regular and wide and went with the wide. I wouldn’t say I have super wide feet but the very start of a bunion on one foot and the wide was much more comfortable!

Taos is a new brand for me. knowing it is a quality company, i took a chance on ordering the crave classic red boot in 38W. The fit is good with a thin sock. i am impressed with the style, color and design on the boot.

I love my Crave boots. I wear them all the time in the fall and winter, and wear with jeans and even nice slacks because of the thicker soles. If I were younger, I would wear with skirts or dresses!! They are so easy to put on since you don't have to lace them up but simply zip. The quality is excellent and the look is right on trend. They are wearing extremely well. Even though they are quite expensive, I want to purchase them in another color this year. Great boot.

I love my Taos Crave mid-calf boots. I can't believe how comfortable they are. I wore them all day on the first day I had them and they felt great all day. This is highly unusual for me; I often have problems with foot pain. The boots are easy to get on and off. And the look and feel is high quality. I ordered another pair already in another color. The very best thing about them from my point of view is that they came in size 10-10.5. I don't often get this sizing as a choice.

This is my second review. Returned size 39 for size 38. I am normally a size 8, but have somewhat narrow feet. The 38’s are a much better fit. Beautiful boot!

Ordered size 39. Boot feels too big even with a bulky sock. Debating on returning for size 38. Usually a size 8. Absolutely a beautiful boot.

I was able to put these on and wear them immediately with no problems. I love them. So comfortable.

These are great boots. They fit true to size and would be fabulous for most people, I think. Sadly, they didn’t work for me as I have had recent surgery on both feet, and these bothered my scars. Obviously, this is an individual problem. I definitely would encourage others to purchase these, as they are well-made and otherwise comfortable.
