I love this boot! My feet are wide and I have a high instep which equates to a very difficult foot to fit (size 11W). It can take me many tries before I find a boot that's both attractive and has a comfortable fit. But the Rockland feels great on and I know they will go well with skirts or pants, dressy or casual.

Material feels nice! The boots are beautiful, but they feel narrow

The boot feels a little loose in the heel but not uncomfortable.

I ordered two Cole Haan pairs, Rockland and Calissa to see which I liked better. The material the stretch is made out of is interesting, and looks much better in person. Fit was great for skinny calves but I needed to a half size bigger and since the Calissa's fit perfect at a 9 even though they are a bit wider in the calf it was easier to keep those. beautiful boot tho! order half size up.

I loved this boot, but it was a wee bit too snug. I am returning and ordering a size 8.

Cute style but they bunched funny at my able. This may not be a problem with someone with bugger calves.

These are beautiful in person. It was a little hard to tell from the photos, but the back of the boots is a quilted leather. It has a little stretch. These boots fit consistent with other Cole Haan boots (and my normal size). The only complaint I have is that the width of the boot shaft is narrow. I'm 5'3", weigh about 110lbs, and wear a size seven. The top of the shaft is tighter than I expected. Not so tight that I'm returning them, but tight enough that I wouldn't wear these with pants tucked in (though I have done this with my other Cole Haan riding boots without a problem). I expect the shaft to stretch a bit, given that the material is a little stretchy, but we will see.

The boot leather is top quality. How wonderful to wear a leather boot in rain or snow, sadly, I must return these boots. I have bunions and they turned a bright pink just walking, for about 10 minutes, around the house. The W width was not available. I also wasn't too fond of the meshy back, but I would have kept them if they had more room for my toes. Thank you Zappos for the free returns. It is very much appreciated.

These boots are beautiful! The toe box is just a bit more narrow than I would like, but after wearing these for just a few hours, they are already softening a bit. I'm happy with them, especially at the sale price! :-)

Feet are really narrow even though the shafts were wide. I have skinny feet and calves so the fact that they were too tight for me was a bummer.

I decided to try these boots based on other reviews that said they ran narrow. However, although the shaft was a good fit for my smaller calves, the shoe part of the boot was huge on my 7AA feet. Sadly, back they go.

These boots are true to size, but if you have a wide calf, even with the back stretch, these may not be wide enough at the top. I probably had a 2" gap from the zipper being able to close, so I had to return.

I like the style and the leather is pretty high quality, but they were not comfortable for me. I have high arches, so that may have played a part in comfort. The calf is narrow-medium width. The sole is pretty flat, but not as stiff as many other tall boots. The brown color is very pretty.

loved how boots fit in the foot--looked beautiful-- were much too short in the shaft for me-- looked silly with an above the knee skirt.

These boots are beautiful and I love the unique fabric insert on the back. I have large athletic calves and they almost zipped all the way. They are really cute looking but the quality and feel for $150 did not seem up to CH high quality standards. Sending back. Thank you.

I am 5’2’’ and have probably shorter legs than the average americans. This boot’s shaft (16”) was too high for me. The top of the boots hits my knee caps on the front, and I feel I would be bending the top of the boots on the back of my knees. The leather is very soft and flexible. I can see it being a very comfortable pair of boots for somebody who has longer legs, especially the portion below the knee. The lessons learned for me: always check the shaft length before ordering.

I wanted to love these. They are very narrow, and run a half size small. I have small calves, so I was hoping to love these, but even despite them being narrow, they are honestly not that comfortable of a shoe for the brand and price...

I love the color and the shaft circumference fit my narrow calves well, but it looked and fit too large in the ankle. Also, there is a gold accent at the top of the boot that I personally don't like at all.

The boots are absolutely beautiful! Very well made. However, I've never had an issue before with boots being tight around my calves and I could barely zip these up on bare legs. Additionally, they were pretty narrow and snug. I didn't think returning for a half size up would've helped. Such a shame, they are so pretty!

These boots are beautiful - Isimple design and nice leather. I usually wear an 8.5 M to fit my left foot, which is a tad longer than my right foot. This size was too snug on both feet. The calf part was snug with leggings, as well; & I have skinny calves (13”). I am going to try a 9M, and hope for the best.

Gorgeous boots, but I had to return because they were painfully narrow.

A friend gifted me. these boots. They are a half size larger than I would normally wear - but they fit (I'm a 7.5, the boots are 8). These boots are way overpriced for what they are. A sizable portion of this boot is some kind of polyester fabric. Where there is leather, it is nice. The fabric just makes me crazy - why would they do that? There also is NO support. The bottom of the shoe is slick. I would never have bought these for myself.

Goo looking but I normally wear a 7 medium and these were uncomfortably tight on my foot.

Disappointed in the look of this boot. I could not see/tell from the photos that the entire back of the boot has a textured/plastic-looking section. That said it is not an all leather boot. Though I usually wear a medium, these were tight across the toes and had very little support.

Really beautiful boot. Nice leather, nice silhouette, very flattering and versatile. Perfect for thin legs. They are one of the few boots I've tried that don't gap on my legs or scrunch up around the ankles. Unfortunately I had to return them because there is no arch support and the insole is totally unpadded and hard for walking. I walk a lot and have a joint injury, so I would have had to get an insert to wear them and order a half size up. I will keep looking, but may come back to them if I can't find anything that looks as good.
