Overall, I am very happy with these boots. The leather is high quality and looks good, and they are comfortable on my wide feet. They feel "clunky," though, maybe because of the heavier sole. Also, I wish the shaft were an inch or two higher because my pant leg gets caught in the back of the boot every time I stand up. Finally, I ordered a wide for my forefoot, but the heel seemed too wide. I solved the problem by inserting a Dr. Scholl's heel/midfoot pad, which also gives me better arch support.

These are really beautiful shoes. I had to buy inserts as the bottoms were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Ultimately, these were returned as the elastic began to break and unravel after only 2 weeks.

Very cute bootie, felt sturdy out of the box. Stiff leather resisted creasing when worn. Shoe is really narrow in the toe box.. pretty standard for this brand IMO. Heel did not slip any more than expected compared to other ankle boots I've tried. I normally wear an 8-8.5 and found that the 8.5 just fit but would probably loosen up after breaking in. The deal-breaker for me was how uncomfortable these shoes are. There is zero arch support and my feet started hurting after having them on for maybe 30 seconds. Maybe breaking them in would help but the footbed was so hard I didn't think it would be worth it.

I loved the way this boot looked but it was really uncomfortable to wear. While it fit fine through the arch and length, my heel slipped as I walked, and overall, the sole was hard and uncomfortable to wear any length of time.

I was so excited to find these shoes at Cole Haan - a chic waterproof boot I could wear to work and on appointments. Unfortunately they are extremely narrow (I have semi-wide feet, but nothing out of the ordinary), and very uncomfortable at the sole. Someone at the store gave me inserts, which didn't make too much of a difference. I think for close to this cost they could be made to have more cushion and support at the sole.

They run large. They were wide in the heel and narrow in the footbed. My foot is the opposite. They were stiff and not high quality leather.
