As an Amazon worker and always on my feet, these boots were surprisingly comfortable and fit perfectly. This brand comfort and fit were way better than the prior I had gotten for work :)

These boots are awesome work boots. The composite toe makes them lighter than steel toes, and they are the most comfortable work boots I've ever owned. Not to mention stylish. They do seem to run a little large. I wear an 8.5 in shoes and got these in an 8. So unless you plan on wearing super thick or multiple socks, I would size down a half size.

i left a review on these after one day of wearing them. this review i have now worn them many times. They are comfortable after you break them in. they are heavy but once you get used to them they don't feel so heavy. They are great shoes once you break them in, it took about 4 days. The only complaints are there is 0 arch support. you will need to buy inserts and they don't breath when I get home from only 4 hrs of work my feet are white, soggy and smell and my feet do not smell normally. other than that they are great work boots.

These are way too heavy to just be a composite toe. They feel like steel toe shoes. In fact, they feel like cinder blocks. With all the walking I have to do these aren't going to work.

I'm typically an 8.5, but depending on the shoe I can get away with a 7.5-9. I ordered and 8.5 anyways and they fit perfect. There is just enough extra space around the toe for comfort without it feeling like my toes are swimming. They felt a little big with thin socks, but thicker socks make them fit just right. These are my first work boots I've ever owned, so I don't know how to gauge comfort, and this is my first day wearing them. They're not too heavy, but they do feel a little clunky walking around and driving. There's about an inch+ of sole on the bottom, so it'll just take some getting used too. Very minimal arch support, so insoles are suggested. The laces are pretty thin, but they seem strong enough for now. The only discomfort with them so far is that they dig into the sides of my ankles a bit, so I've folded my socks over around that area, and I'm sure they'll break in. Size was perfect. These are my go to work boots. This is my third pair and I don’t see myself changing to anything else unless these become unavailable. Thanks Zappos

Posting this review after wearing these shoes every single work day, all year... 40+ hours a week for a year! These shoes are the truth. They held up through all the seasons; winter, summer, spring and fall. They are waterproof (don't think I read that on there) but they did not allow any leakage into my shoes at all. Surprisingly even after working 10-11 hour long shifts, these shoes never made my feet hurt. I never had to break them in either. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Best work boots ever! Several other Amazonian’s at my site have this style and like them a lot. So I decided to give them a try...boy am I happy I did! Just finished working 4 10 hour shifts and have ZERO complaints. They are not only comfortable, but stylish too! Somebody recommended wearing two pairs of socks to help break them in. The two pairs of socks also prevent any rubbing or slipping too. Worked like a charm! I brought my old composite toe work shoes for backup just in case I needed to switch them out, but never needed to! I also haven’t had to put my orthopedic insoles in yet either!

This is the first time I was able to order Carhartt shoes. They are simply the BEST out there. Confortable all day long .

I wear a 9 1/2 and happy I ordered the exact same size boot because they fit perfect.. most boots I order a half size smaller.. no need order the same size as the shoe you wear..

Right out of the box they are comfortable, a little heavy because of the composite toe but I'm not use to work boots so I'm sure with time it won't matter. I'm normally a 7.5 or 8 and I got the 8 since there was none in a smaller size and they are spacious so I would say order your normal size so they fit true to size. Side note- The toe looks really bulbous because of the protective toe.

After I wore the boots for a few days to break them in they fit very well. I've had them for about a week and they seem to work pretty well. Only downside is they tend to come untied which can be annoying if you don't tie them just right, but otherwise a pretty good pair of boots.

Im very flat footed with multiple issues with my feet, so I've been avoiding buying safety shoes for work. These boots feel amazing. They were true to size for me. I really love the support. And I love the look. I actually like wearing my safety shoes. Carhartt is an amazing, quality brand.

I read reviews that stated these boots don’t require breaking in! And they don’t! They are comfortable out of the box to an extent! If you’ve never worn heavy work boots you might wear them around a while at home. After my 4th shift at Amazon though, they were comfy. I think arch support could be better but that’s nothing insoles won’t fix! Overall they’re cute and comfy for work boots. I definitely recommend them for 8-10 hour shifts!

My first impression was that the boots felt heavy, but after using them and breaking them in for 3 months, I feel very comfortable in them. I'm a size 5 1/2 and got size 6, and I have enough room to move my feet a little bit so my feet never feel tense after working for 10hrs. I don't recommend tightly tying these boots though because the skin at my ankles got slightly irritated due to the constant movement of the boot scrubbing against your skin, even through ankle socks. On the other hand, having these boots slightly loose is extremely comfortable. They are also nice looking! I wear these out on my days off with any outfit and it has a very cute look regardless of them being steel toed work boots. Happy with this choice. :)

I work in a warehouse for 10 hours and I'm on my feet for the better portion of the day. They take time to break in but once you do they're very comfortable shoes to wear. I do recommend insoles simply because the ball of my foot did hurt for the first few days. Obviously since it is a boot your feet may sweat. I sized a full size down and they fit perfectly. They aren't heavy to walk in at all. They're also stylish in my opinion which may not matter to most but it did to me. I highly recommend these.

I usually wear a 7.5 size shoe. I fit in a 6.5 in Carhartt work boot. I have used shoe trees to widen the width of the boot so my pinky toe does not rub. After using my shoe trees my toes don’t even touch the front of the boot even with thick socks (recommended). If you are not used to wearing heavy boots around 2 pounds then this boot is probably not for you. Look at the item description before purchasing so you know what you are getting into and don’t have to go through the hassle of returning. Personally for me these are very comfortable and very nicely made Carhartt.

The reason I purchased this particular pair of work boots is that the reviews had me locked in. I have never had a position where I needed to wear work boots, so I did not know what to expect! That said, the first pair was a complete nightmare! And so I called Zappos and the CSR assisted me and together we found the Carharrtt boot. Wow! What a major difference! The entire day, I didn’t even think about my feet! So wonderful and when I took them off, my feet still floated on a cloud! I highly recommend these boots to either a first safety boot owner, or an existing employee that has an existing employment that requires safety boots!

I wear a 8.5 in woman and ordered A 7 medium with in men. Perfect fit. Not too tight. My socks are thick and still room. I work long shifts over 10 hours and still it's comfy.

Very cute! True to width, but runs large. I’m a 7.5 in women’s and I don’t know if I should return them to get size 7 or 6.5. Anyone have any recommendations?

Shoes look great. Unfortunately I had to return them because they were too big. I did order a bigger size because they did not have mine. I was hoping they would fit but they didn't.

Fits true to size. Moderately comfortable but seem to be great hiking/work boots with a composite toe.
