I wear the same size for pretty much all my shoes, but had to go down a half size for this boot. For someone with "triangular" feet (wide by the toes and narrow at the heel), these boots were a little hard to get on at first because the ankle area is snug, but once my feet were in they "fit like a glove." The ortholite footbed is very comfortable, and the boot feels sturdy. The pull-tab is helpful, but I keep wishing it was just a tad bit higher at the top of the shoe instead of in the middle. They may look a bit clunky, but surprisingly go well with a lot of outfits. I've only worn them around for city walking, but can't wait to test them out on the trail, or for an upcoming camping trip, or for snow! It hasn't been cold enough yet to say whether this has any good insulation, but if you plan on wearing thick socks, I'd suggest getting your regular size, or going up a half size.

I really wanted to love these boots after reading the other great reviews. I'm a size 13 and I guess maybe I have wide feet but these boots felt too narrow for me. Length wise they were fine but width was painful and much narrower than my other boots I own. They look great and seem solidly made, so my problem/issue is really just how they fit. I rated them low for comfort because the inside of the tongue is attached to the inside of the shoe and folds back on itself on each corner of the tongue. I wish I could show you a picture but basically that means the fold is pushing against your ankle on each side and makes the boot fit weird around the ankle for me and I just found it very uncomfortable. No matter how loose I put the lacing it just hurt and as I was buying these for some wet hikes were I would want to lace them up tighter it just felt too painful and I feel would have caused blister issues on each side. Like I said they look nice and are solidly built and not too heavy, but for me just not the right fit

For a waterproof boot with a rugged sole, this is quite comfortable. As compared to a Timberland, it is super comfortable, as the fabric is relatively pliable and bends nicely at the ankle. The size is very large though.

I bought these as an outdoor work shoe. I have very narrow feet and my previous boots were extremely uncomfortable. These fit nicely with thick socks and my feet didn’t move around in the boot. After wearing them most of the day, my feet didn’t hurt like they did with my other boots.

Size and fit were great. Wish there was a bit more cushioning but overall great boot for light snow and rain

These fit great, I am pretty much always a size 10, unless a particular shoe runs small or large. A standard ten (or 8.5 in men’s) is what I always order. These fit great, they’re very comfortable, I wore them for a whole day of hiking, walking on the beach, tromping through streams and small waves, my feet did end up wet, however that’s only from when I got hit by a sneaker wave that went over the very top of the boot and got my socks wet. Though before the water when high enough up my leg to go above the boot, my feet were perfectly dry, so A+ on the waterproofing. I was literally standing in a stream looking for rocks for hours, my feet were warm, and dry, and comfortable all day long. Super pleased with these boots, I cannot recommend them enough!

Way too small. Returned them. Otherwise I thought they were beautiful boots!

My 16 year old son loves these boots. He wore them hiking out of the box. I’m getting my older son a pair too.

I have two sons; 22 and 15. Each of them has had a minimum of 3 pairs of these boots. Every year I order each of them a pair; which they proceed to wear nearly everyday from the beginning of Autumn until mid-Spring. They love the fit and I love how durable they are. They are well worth the price tag.

Love these boots! My feet get sore quickly with lost shoes/boots. I can be working all day in these boots and be fine!!

I’m happy with these boots. While the insole is lacking anything special, the fit is perfect, they look great, they’re warm, and waterproof for sure. I’m glad I ignored other reviews and ordered my normal size. The toe box is spacious, but isn’t uncomfortable. I have a slender foot.

The size chart provided with the product listing is not true to the shoe. I would visit the manufacturer website for the real chart. I know I’m a 38 in most euro sized shoes and ordered a 7.5 according to the one posted here but the boots I received are 39s. I’m moderately displeased to discover this, since I have insoles that fit length for size 38. The overall fit is not terrible since as with most boots, it’s not horrible to size up at least for the width. It just wouldn’t have been my preference for length, since that will be uncomfortable for future hiking with these boots. Unfortunately I already have worn them outside and can’t return them. The boots are very waterproof and I’ve definitely been saved a few times already on the ice and snow. Feels like winter started early here.

Very nice! They look well made and are hopefully more durable than the canvas style.

Bought this for my kid. The size is just fine although it is a little bit narrow. It looks great on feet, comfortable and stylish. Material is a little bit rigid.

The size fits true and the boots feel comfortable all around out of the box. I'm a medium and the width/room around my toes was good. The insole comes out so that I can use my own orthotics. The leather and ballistic nylon combination makes the boots not heavy. They're waterproof and the sole feels super sturdy. The laces are long enough to double or triple knot bows which is needed since single knots seem to untie themselves. I bought the black and they are great with anything casual, especially jeans.

I ordered a pair of these (in the Bridle Brown/Moon Mist) almost a year ago and waffled about whether or not to keep them. After the ice and snow storm this morning, the boots finally came out of the box. I wore them all day doing heavy outdoor work and my feet were comfortable and dry. No break-in needed. Pretty incredible. Plus they look way cool. They are not toasty warm, but that's a good thing, because you can adjust the warmth factor with socks and get more use out of them. I expect to wear these puppies for a long time. Highly recommend.

Bought these for gardening/working outdoors. I wear a woman's size 12 and most unisex sized shoes are too wide, but these fit well with room for a cushioned insert. They are lightweight with good traction and good ankle support. I haven't tested their waterproofing yet, but so far they are living up to expectations. I would recommend.

I bought these on total impulse while I was trying to buy Palladiums for my daughter. I feel guilty and I'm trying to convince myself to return them but they're so comfortable and light weight and I was looking for something to wear when I'm schlepping around the city. Ha! I think I just convinced myself to keep them. BTW, Between my son and daughter and now me I think we have 10 pairs of Palladiums. They last forever, look great and are crazy comfortable.

Overall, I think these will be great hiking shoes. The cushioning feels good. If you have wide feet, they might feel a little tight over your toes while they're breaking in. For now, I'm wearing them with pretty thin socks. I agree with a previous review that said they aren't as green as they appear in the pictures. They're basically different shades of brown.

My husband loves the boots for wet New England days. Very hip/cool and comfortable. However; the picture shows an army green and lighter brown color combo, when in reality, they are basically all brown - the color of the rubber toe. He loves them so whatever. I was disappointed with the color.
